Was seamless. Now it's a bit more difficult. Since removing the bank account payment method you're only left with credit or debit card or email option. Not all banks have the email facility available so it's left to the former two. If you don't have the right limits it can catch you out. Would be better if the bank account option was still there.
Extremely bad experience with customer service that doesn't know anything. Edit: Well, you haven't done anything to resolve the issue. You should add more verification methods like Photo ID, not everybody has a driver's license. Also, every other app works using the passport but yours doesn't. Edit 2: Now this might surprise you but not everybody living in Australia has an Australian passport. Why not Photo ID?
I tried thrice at 29.01.26 at 10.19Pm but got a message that we couldn't able to complete the transaction and sorry for that etc etc, so it is not reliable at times in case of emergency, and always good to have a second option as per my personal experience. Feel free to ask questions and I've got all the proofs to support my claims.
After using WU for many years, we were stopped recently from using it and were sent a message with a link to fill in all this information, it was that difficult to answer everything, we've just had to go elsewhere now. It's a shame we used to like using WU for the ease of use. It's easy to use, reliable and cheap.
After years of using their service to sending to both sides of my parents family and my wife's family, my account was suspended. I was given the run around, requested to fill out a questionnaire & when provided, was then asked for more documents. Unfortunately collecting the required documentations was taking longer than required. I received an email saying with the info they currently had, could not reinstate. I get that. The issue I had was Customer Care was more interested in ending the call
Fast transaction. Good app. But be aware you don't add more than one receiver in your Western Union account . If you do, both account details will clash and your money will go somewhere else. If you add a single receiver, its good and fast app.
Was working well for over a year, im always sending money to my partner in the Philippines with no issues, but now it wont let me. I tried going through the website as a customer services support team recommended i do so, so i did only to find out i needed to complete a questionnaire regarding my account and sending details. I completed the questions last week they said it would take 3 business days, but now they responded it advised would take another 2, hopefully its cleared by tomorrow.
the app. that I have been using is not working, after you fill everything ,it will tell you your transaction is declined, I have tried so many times... I think it's time to use a different company.
Ugent! please. Your newly downloaded app wouldn't allow me to update my phone number. After trying 4 times, I left it with the strange unrecognisable number. Please help.
You can send and receive money in very remote places where many digital services don’t operate, including cash pickup at brick-and-mortar locations.
Just excellent, I use the app often and it is always easy and quick with 100% success rate for me. I would recommend WU to everyone.
A company shouldn't be rated when it works well, it should be rated when it doesn't and they figure it out to offer you solutions. I mistakenly made an incorrect transaction and they WU staff were so helpful and understanding.

The app is easy to use. Never had any issues using the app after years of use. The transfer limits are annoying but I understand the security reasons.
Disastrous. WR failed to deliver requested printout of past transfers. so i switched to WU only to find its the same corporation. Now i go to Remitly. in the end i will obtain my request, so you corps' comply with personal requests.
Have been using this app to send money. Every year this company requires you to jump through hoops, (provide vast details and are very invasive in details) for what reason? Ask the customers to provide details that are at times, impossible to provide, just to stay on the app and send money. Yet for the past years they happily take your funds when you transfer monies. If your verified then that should be it, end of story. WHY ASK EVERY YEAR THEN BLOCK ONES ACCOUNT... NOT GREAT WU
A whole lot easier than a couple of other money transfer apps. Very pleased that I could send money easily. I'm only new to this new tech and I made a mistake in the spelling of the receiver's name but it was easily rectified. I tip my hat to Western Union, well done and thankyou.
I've never had any issues with WU , Super fast to send and after first transaction it's almost instant to receiver
Erratic delivery times. no option to remove outdated cards. The last one took 5 business days over a week because of weekend. Placing in danger financial contracts reliant on the funds. Again this transfer to bank account WU says in minutes already 3 business days and app says complete , not completed, email says another 3 business days.. Never again western union, I am using other systems which are faster and more consistent
