Wetzel's Pretzels

Restaurant is fine and pretzel was stale, however the app is very bad. I do not think I have used the app once without encountering an issue. One time I tried placing an order near a location that was open, but the app claimed it was closed. Another time it simply wouldnt let me put in my card information claiming my card wasn't accepted at this location despite it working at the counter. There are a few improvements they could make to the UI including more clearly labeling input locations.

The places themselves are good and have quick service, but this app sucks. The UI is good, but it doesn't work. I've scanned my receipt while at the location on two occasions. Both times it either said I'm not close enough to the location (which is ridiculous, you should be able to earn points whether at location or not if you have a receipt and actually bought something) or it does scan but tells me I earned "0 points." There's no point if I don't earn anything from purchasing.

False advertisement! They have a flyer at their check out if you download the app and after a first purchase, you get a free pretzel once you scan your receipt. The app doesn't reflect the points right away and the check out person since I would have to wait until the app shows the points so they wouldn't give me the free pretzel. Ridiculous!

I tried to scan a receipt because they tell you at the wetzel location to just add the receipt in later. Well, when I try to add in receipt later, it says oops not near a wetzel location. Didn't know I needed to be near the location to add a receipt from earlier in the day. Pointless if they won't scan my app at the store. Not a helpful app for earning points if I can't get them added in the app.

literally can't even create an account. I put my number in and it never sends me a code. won't let me sign through email. went on the browser to make an account through the website and the app says the account I just created doesn't exist.

Do NOT use this app!!! I got an "Invalid signature" error when I opened it 2 days ago. Did not have my accumulated reward points. I then updated the app hoping it would resolve the issue. Instead it just basically set me back to ZERO!! All my accumulated reward points were "conveniently" lost in favor of corporate greed!! Hope Bernie Sanders, AOC, and the rest of the elected officials will go after companies like this that favor profits over people!

App is borderline unusable. Sign-in process takes 5 minutes or more, if it even works.

There's never any deals and even though I scan my qr code every time I never end up getting my points unless I get my receipt and try to do it myself. Customer service didn't do anything to make it right. Update customer service still sucks we've just gotten rid of the app at this point there's always an issue.

Their reward program is a scam. I installed app and I added my first order. I received invitation to get my free pretzel and of course it didn't work. I came and system doesn't show my rewards. This is false advertisement. I will not go to that place anymore.

Lots of bugs.... i scanned my first receipt and it said I got 0 points from it and there were 0 items on the receipt? I spent $15 there.... then when trying to put in my bday it won't go to anything but January something...ughh frustrating..especially because we go there pretty often so I figured I'd get the app..bummer

If I could rate it lower I could. The food is alright but they don't show the damn prices! Ended up spending money on something I could have gotten for a quarter the price at 7 eleven or some random gas station. Absolutely pathetic.

Really good pretzels. but the gentleman helped me. He gave me ten dollars less than what I should have got back. And then, uh, he didn't scan stuff, right. I fixed the $10, but he needs to know how to run a register.

unable to reset my password, unable to migrate my old account - says I'm too young (HUH? to order a pretzel?), can't create a new account - again says I'm too young (where did I even state my age, which is 51 BTW). Just a broken UI through and through.

Unable to launch app, it says "your device basic integrity test failed" but I haven't rooted my phone or done anything that should cause that. If I can't use the app I can't give it above 2 stars even though I do really like wetzels

cashier Farah was ok but gave me incorrect information when asking about the rewards within the app she said that I wouldn't get any points until the next time I come, after I spent $31. Turns out I just had to confirm my email. I have just done that when I got home and luckily I kept my receipt so I scanned it and got my points myself. she told me that she scanned my receipt but she didn't which is why I still had no points. I would rather someone say I don't know then guess & give wrong info

Both pretzels were cold and appeared to have been left under the heating lamp for some time. Considering this was my first Wetzel purchase, I am not impressed and won't likely return.

Let me taste the new drinks this gives you the opportunity to choose from the drink that you really like. I had a sample taste of the strawberry lemonade . But I really like the strawberry kiwi Ice drink I'm 73 I don't know how to use my phone immigration showed me how to install the app next time I get free pretzel yay

Doesn't look like the app is available to use at any of the Edmonton locations. I was told they don't use it anymore, and the favorite locations have nothing in Canada

Unable to redeem promotion for free pretzel. It says the app is only for iPhones. We bought 2 at regular price. I tried to upload the receipt, no luck 😡

Took a while to download the new app. It's easier to transfer points to the new app by creating a new account than logging into the new app using old ID. overall grad, I did it.
