It seems like the app is getting increasingly less user friendly, and the notifications, which is one of the reasons why I have the app, don't work. I live in Reading, and no matter what combination of notification settings I try, I keep getting push notifications for Lehigh Valley, which I don't care about at all, but I've never gotten anything about Berks. Very annoying.

this app blows. Tried using it on my firestick and roku to watch the philadelphia mummers new years parade. app starts up and then goes off. 2 other people I asked having the same problem. The Philadelphia Mummers Parade should be embarrassed. This should be on PHL 17 and not some bogus app that don't work

Your app is terrible. Constantly freezes or shuts down. You are a NEWS NETWORK claiming to provide 24/7 access but it never works!

Love the app. I really wish you would get app up and running on Android tv. With cable so expensive a lot people like me don't want to pay the high cable bill for a lot channels I don't watch. Would be great if I had this app ony Android tv to be able to watch on my tv keep up with news in my area. not on my little cell phone... Maybe something you'll think about in future.

Reply to WFMZ: I'm sorry but I'm not one who likes customizing. It's just another way to wind up in a bubble. I like a wide variety of news. Update: opens after reinstalled with new Update. I don't like the 11/6/2024 Update. It's divided into too many different sections. It used to be all in one page now It requires too many taps to see things. App will not open. Worked before but for some reason it just doesn't open at all now.

Once again football season starts and once again I have to uninstall for the season. I don't need a notification to know who won in Eagles games instantly. Some watch on delays and some need to watch later do to life. If you would just let us turn off sports notifications we could just stay away from the app until we're ready. The instant push notification is obnoxious without an opt out. Edit: 2024 and this app still needs to trying "scooping" everyone by giving out the Eagles score instantly.

The "new" app is worse. The notifications are messed up. I keep getting the same alert over and over. Also, often, when I click on an alert, it doesn't take me to the story; it just goes to the main screen. Finally, I tried to submit a question about the app, but the email was returned as undeliverable.

Do you read these reviews or is your app not really a huge concern? I click on an article to read and-- NOTHING. They will not load. It's frustrating. Then you are reading & the app just crashes. I know it's not my brand new phone... seriously, I see the other complaints. I guess you truly do not care if your app is user friendly. Sad.

The app just provides you with a headline which you have to click READ MORE, it then takes to their website. Still trying to figure out the purpose of this app. Now some of their links don't even work, you get a 403 error. Also they say you can watch live updates but again you get directed to a webpage that has their traffic cam and no live updates.

You made the app for people to download to only see a snip it of every article, then we need to click "read more" to only be taken to the website to read the rest of it, anyway. Senseless. This app is incomplete. You wasted my time and my data.

too slow to update stories plus they took off the crime section I guess nobody does anything Reading's just Paradise

The old version was great. This new version is garbage. They used to have all the berks county news in 1 section, now it is split into 5 sections for some reason. Also when you stop to try to read an article, it automatically scrolls back to the top if you stop scrolling. Really annoying.

the headline page keeps going back to the beginning, and now I'm just getting a white screen

I downloaded and uninstalled and downloaded again, but it keeps saying I have no internet connection. My connection is definitely not the problem. I tried on wifi and off wifi, and unfortunately, it won't go into the app.

What's the reason of having an app that points you to a website. Shouldn't the app have the story line not a "READ MORE" hyperlink. Stop trying to get traffic to your site by click bait plus the app has enough ads no need for this.

Pointless app. No articles in the app anymore. Everything is a few sentences and have to click the link to open in website. No point in having the app anymore if I have to go on website anyway.

App will not connect online when accessing articles through notification alerts. This started a few days ago without any changes made by me. Uninstall and reinstall of the app did not help.

The app is pretty good, and I use it everyday. The stories update frequently, and they give you breaking news alerts every day.

Doesn't work. It was fine until the November update. Now it won't even launch. I un-installed and reinstalled and nothing works.

Absolute garbage, constantly stops and crashes. Hard to navigate when it does work.
