Whoscall - Caller ID & Block

Loved the app so much, I wanted to upgrade to the premium paid plan. I gave them my card number & at the end of the 7 day trial, they wanted a 2nd form of payment as back up. Sorry.. Ain't gonna happen. I'm probably going to drop the free app as well. That's just absurd. Not even my utilities company who takes hundred a month asks for a backup payment method.

Used this app for quite a while, it's okay, but since it requires to be the default app, it can't pull up any contacts in contact search, and always warn you, that you may be charged if you use the dial pad to make a call, and the blocked numbers appear on the call log along with my regular calls, I can't tell which number is which. I end up using another app for dialing a number, or looking up a contact, and messages. There's too much wrong, unnecessary stuff on this app for efficient access.

I don't want to use it as my SMS app! It started off fine, but now won't allow me to use it for my phone if I don't use it for messaging as well. Annoying! I liked being able to auto-block class from first 6 numbers with exceptions, but I'm uninstalling it for being too nosy and wanting to be my dialer, too. Do what I want you to do, not what you think I SHOULD want you to do!

Do not download this app. They send you tons of texts and calls just so you will buy the premium package!!! If you don't believe me then try it. This is a scam app. It works at first then BAM you start getting more than double. You get texts and calls from unknown numbers during all hours of the night and day and when I uninstalled it, that sh't stopped. All I get are the few I was gtn before I installed it.

I installed this app mainly to identify unknown callers, but I recently experienced a serious issue. It seems like the app automatically blocked unknown numbers without me manually enabling any blocking feature. Because of this, I missed important calls, including a job interview and even delivery calls. There was no clear notification that unknown numbers were being auto-blocked, which caused inconvenience and stress on my end. I hope the developers can improve the settings visibility and make

Whoscall used to be one of the best apps. However around the middle of 2025, it kept telling me that it couldn't connect to the internet. So I couldn't report anything. I didn't get any feedback either. Today it even logs me off. When I try to log in, and fail 3 times, my account is locked. So it's useless now. I will uninstall it.

If this is not free, I wouldn't want to install this at all. It's very distracting especially when you're busy with other things. I always keep my messages in private and locked. But this app always shows them all. This app supposedly shows spam or fraud text or calls but globe one already does that. Hmm..

I have whoscall before in my old phone. Honestly, it's been great. But now i have trouble logging in and it keeps saying server error even though my connection is fast.

The app doesn't allow me to login and says "Multiple failed login attempts using what appears to be an unofficial program have been detected." Doesn't make sense as I downloaded from this play store. Uninstalled.

Used to be great and I previously recommended the app to friends but since the last update in September it's more annoying than the spam it's supposed to prevent. Looking for an alternative then I'll be uninstalling. A shame such a great app got ruined.

It can automatically inform you who's calling by giving suggestions if it is harassment, a scam, and so on. Nice job!

Unable to block lots of junk calls and indicated that those calling numbers were unsupported format and let them call in.

I hate the new version. Previously, you were able to label calls without adding them to your contacts. Now, even if you mark them as not spam and report the details, the reported name doesn't show up, so you are forced to add people with whom you are in contact only a few times. You also can no longer block spam SMS, such as many gambling and phishing SMS.

Not only. Very little helping nowadays hardly giving any information. But also have this clickbait luring user who actually trying to close and all of a sudden happened to sign up for AIS monomex program. And start charging two hundred bath a month. even notice that still have to call a I s call center to stop the charge.And it took several hours still not hear.The response isn't this the center of scammers itself??

I'm using oppo find x9. It seems the settings of sms popup is disappeared, I tried to find on every page for the settings but found nothing. please suggest me how can I do

I can't cancel my subscription in this app! They make it so hard after free trial. Makes it seem sketchy. Also features are not sophisticated enough to make a difference with the spam callers. No additional info so not much of a value add to be honest.

Useless app!!! Almost all calls show this number has not been rated or reported yet. Just shows numbers doesn't say spam or anything

I redeemed a premium subscription but still seeing ads in call logs. What a circus. Developers are the clown.

Late and lagging to show, even when the scammer and fraud already hang up the system wants to show... very disappointing

Thank you very much for your response. I’ve already reconfigured the settings and updated my rating. However, I’d like to suggest that these settings should be accessible from the main Settings menu. When users want to adjust something, they’ll always look there first. Placing the options inside the Caller ID section makes it easy for users to miss or not realize that settings can be changed from there.
