WiFi Map®: Internet, eSIM, VPN

The idea behind the app is great: offer a Wi-Fi database that is entirely created and maintained by the users. However, this is also the weakest point of the app because people keep moving and/or changing their Wi-Fi passwords and routers. Those Wi-Fi spots that are public have a better chance of working, but with many of the others, especially home Wi-Fi spots it is pretty much hit and miss. Sometimes they work, but I also found quite a number of spots listed in the app that don’t even exist any more. So, three stars for a great idea and good app, but minus two because it often doesn’t contain correct information and there is no easy way to make corrections as an app user. E.g. as I was walking though town I made a note of all the Wi-Fi-s that have either incorrect passwords or are simply non-existent. When I got back home where I had connection to the internet again, I was unable to edit those spots in the app. There should be an easier way for users to simply delete Wi-Fi spots from the map it they don’t exist any longer.

Possibly the worst app on the playstore. Pops up asking to rate it not even ten seconds after opening the app. Can't rate it if I haven't used it yet... More ads than app; you can barely see the map between the header ads, the footer ads, and the popup ads. Crowdsourced information so good luck if you are in an area with lower population...most of the hotspots are several YEARS out of date. Stay away from it. It's horrendously unoptimized and drains the battery quickly.

Don't waste your time, it's Full of ads and it finds basically nothing as far as Wi-Fi - password protected or otherwise. ( I live in a highly populated metro area... and there's no Wi-fi near me in over a mile??) I could make a list of just the ones I already know about. Uninstalling.

Beware: latest update makes creating account and signing into app mandatory if you want to use it. Congrats devs you made me uninstall your app after almost ten years. I guess this is the end of it then. Hope it was worth it...

completely useless app and waste of time it cannot detect wifi in my surroundings and it can only give location of wifi and when you click that place add starts after that you get nothing it's free version is totally useless it's my advice to do not download this app .

forces you to register to use it. it also doesn't accept temporary email addresses. why do you need me to register ? this is just farming personal data. uninstalling

Extremely slow in sending email confirmation. Once confirmed profile and first time opening this app it gets stuck on loading in (after welcoming screen shots). Disappointing.

Deleted notifications don't go away and read ones show as unread. Also I can't remove a region from my offline maps.

Wow this app gets mostly 1 star reviews. You keep saying the ads keep it free. I have actual FREE apps that do not come near the amount of ads that this app has. This app is not relevant at all and wastes your time and battery. I do not recommend using this app. In fact I warn people not to bother with it at all. Does this app make me happy I am asked in this review. Too funny!

Offline mode doesn’t work. it shows me WiFi spots, but that's it. The app never shows a password in offline mode, so I can’t connect. It also runs much slower than Google Maps when there’s no internet, the app thinks I'm somewhere else, when I'm at a restaurant.

Hey baby wanna see what I can do to you? 👅👅 That's 90% of the SOUND ON ads that I get in this app. At least have the courtesy of not enabling sound by default. Also, if I go to report a problem or give YOU feedback, then I also get an ad for that. You've really outdone yourselves.

Ugh! I hadn't logged into this app in a few, but I just did and what a disappointment!! ADS ADS ADS kept popping up! I don't remember any ads popping up prior to now. WHY? ok I know why..... but.UGH! ANYWAY, I do love this apps regardless, just disappointed in the ads taking over the experience.

DOES NOT WORK! ADS & POP-UPs ever 10 seconds!! I'm sitting at a casino that offers free wifi and this app DOES NOT show anything in the area..not even the 4 other casinos...

so far it's been a help to have when u miss a phone payment but still have to keep in contact with your family friends and job with Great customer service and good service and platform.

The idea of this app is very nice, but what's ironic is that you need wifi to find wifi...

Free app works. It also has info on ATMs, toilets,etc. Adds are respectful. No passwords on free version, just location. Does it really work? You would have to do the 30 day free trial that they offer.

intrusive ads. needing ads to fund your app does not excuse full screen popups with FAKE close buttons.

Why should I need this app in the first place? To stay connected to the internet whenever I go out of my house, just because I'm out of the range of my WiFi. For this, the offline map is pretty useful, but this app doesn't allow you to use this feature without paying. It's funny and frustrating as well.

These are free community provided passwords that are available online and through other apps. However, if you use the free version by clicking the continue with free, you are able to see all of these points on the map without having to pay. Manu other apps insist you pay to view, this one does not. You may have to watch a video or two of you hop through many connections, but that's a small price to pay. Was 1 star rating, but now it's a 5 after I was cleared up on a few things! Thanks Devs!!

after review the app well I can see that I can close the advert and if I want to pay for upgrade I will. so far I have difficulty to find the WiFi pubblic password as the majority you have nearby you have to pay and is not worth. I'm continuing to using the app and add more reviews later. for the moment 3 star to continue evaluate this app
