We have been travelling extensively over the past couple of years and relied heavily on this app. Now it's slow to load, the back button shuts the app, we loved the heart icon for favourites as it allowed us to see where they were relative to other places but now that can’t happen. I dread to think what it will be like off-line. I'm all for change as long as it's for the better, but some great features have been removed. WikiCamps please listen to your users or they'll go looking elsewhere.

EDIT: What have you done!!! You've totally messed up & ruined what WAS an awesome app - that I paid for and have been using for years. It's virtually useless now. Gutted & piffed off!! 😥😵😤 ... Had assumed (wrongly) there would be some free features and if I liked it I would buy. Nope, requires you to register then just asks for $10 straight up. Make the app a paid app on Android for $10 so you need to buy up front instead of letting people download and register first.

They don't say the app is paid in the first page, so you sign up giving them your details and after that it shows the page to pay. I just uninstall, but now they have my details.

WHY am I getting ads when I paid about ten bucks for this app?!! So I used to have iPhone. Knew the free version would not cut it when I downloaded for Android and bought it straight away. it's not like ads are still lingering from a glitch beforehand. I expect ZERO ads when paying for an app. what the actual? Oh and it used to be way easier to navigate back in the day.

Two months after purchasing the Windows app, the product is discontinued? Yeah, I can use it on my phone with an android purchase, but I'm not going out to buy an Android tablet with a big screen just for this, when I have a perfectly operational laptop. I'm very upset! I don't care how good/bad the android version is, I wish there was zero star ratings.

App has auto updated and now all icons are the size of a pin head. Does not appear to be an option to enlarge Icon size making the app virtually unusable. Zooming in and changing phone settings makes no difference to Icon size. If this change is not reversed, there will be no point in using the app.

It's pretty bad since the new version has been released, not intuitive, loading times are loooooong, and signing on every time is terrible... old version used to be way better read the reviews please and improve all those points

doesn't work. goes to screen after logging in on app prompting me to buy Google Play which I don't want. only option is FAQ and sign out. where's the search features? It cannot help me

I originally gave a 1 star rating dubto not being able to try without buying. I was reluctant to pay for it but heard good reviews so took a chance. It is as advertised and came in handy on a recent long-haul motorcycle trip so I can recommend buying it.

This was a great app, but the latest major update has killed it. It is slow, sucks in offline mode, has less "at a glance" usability, reduced filtering options and a load more bloat garbage geared towards the new owner's agenda. The handful of shills dominating the user forum can also go enjoy a tall glass of hot cassette contents. Camps Australia is going to explode with new users.

Used to be the best resource, necessary if you were free camping. After the change of ownership, it has got harder to use. Still the goto app but I am continually on the lookout for another app as good as this used to be.

slow app, outdated design and UI really struggles with any big trips. paid app probably should have a better experience. it also randomly opens web pages to bookings through their partners. I do like the progress tracking, and some of the trip planning. some of it seems well thought out. but it's hard to explain why it still feels like it misses the mark. one feature I've really hated is the printing trip. I have to enable URL sharing to print it. and the printing cuts out 40% of stops

Be careful, this app costs. They take your information first and then tell you there's a charge. I have asked them to delete my information and I'm still waiting as I'm receiving emails so they clearly haven't! This is not a free app.

Great travel tool when it's not signing you out. Disappointed that a forced additional fee has now been applied before the app will open. Don't have an issue with some advertising, you have to make money. But to charge extra now to use an app already paid for is poor form.

I just attempted to log in, only to be told I don't have internet. So I reinstalled. Same problem. This used to be a decent app; not amazing but not bad either. Now it's useless. Thanks for ruining my entire trip.

I paid and now there are advertisements. Also, apparently, there are only paid camping spots in various areas around me, which is just not correct.

loved in 2022,..got latest update yet problem for years still exist: plan mode press icon of place(point of interest.. whatever) and a thin white strip appears whereas in explore mode icon opens to lovely window detailed information about 'icon'. worked when I purchased (and on my latest phone). June 2026 wiki tech said-'hypothesis is that the trip plan card is attempting to display the tablet variant because of the resolution of your device's display.' so why works in plan mode.fix. anyone?

Was awesome, now they have van park sponsors so it won't show free camps as much. I don't use it as often as I used ti as it's now also a nightmare to navigate.
