Wildshade: Fantasy Horse Races

Really fun and great game, I enjoyed the option to breed for stats and different coats and the races themselves are exciting and challenging...until I realized none of it matters. Spent a lot of time training with a better stats horse and it makes no difference, I've noticed other players (pretty sure they're computer generated) have almost unlimited actions after progressing further. Even if you win with no mistakes you might get a whopping 3 stars not enough to progress. Disappointing.

I've been playing this game on and off for a few years. Tournaments are fun, but I've been stuck in the campaign races for far too long. I've tried leveling up hirses, breeding for agility/ speed, and even when I get 1st place in a race I'll ger 2 out of 5 stars for winning. It's a cool game if they made it easier to level up. I think they want everyone to pay actual money in order to get new maps.

This was an awesome game and I had it for quite a while! Overall really good graphics and concept. I have a few minor issues though. I wish there were more ways to interact with the horses such as a barn or stable. I also wish there was an easier way to raise horse stats, like maybe training or something? Overall its a good game though, highly recommend!

After a certain point it is virtually impossible to get more than 2 stars in the campaign races. "Ascension" feature? I don't even know what it does because it's so difficult to level up. Costs way too much to breed horses only for their stats to be terrible. Latest update has graphics looking like a Playstation 1 game from the 90s (I'm playing on a newer Samsung). In-game currency is really difficult to obtain. Horses and brushes aren't worth the prices. I definitely do not recommend this one.

I love this game. but the brushing system has no purpose. their expensive, and theres no point of using them because your house will just keep getting dirty. there also only one time use. either make them extremely cheaper, or just remove it all together. i cant level up in the races anymore, it says i have 58/59 stars. ive raced 3 times thinking the first was just a glitch but still my stars dont go up. my horse is the right level to.

The game is fun, but a bit irritating. Stats don't seem to mean anything, your horse recovers from magic however it wants and they all run at the same speed. Sometimes magic will cancel out other magic, sometimes it won't. Sometimes you'll release a magic with a target but then the target's gone. Everything you get is random, which is fun but also frustrating. I don't need a tornado or fireball when I'm first. All in all it's fun, if not a little boring and repetitive. More to say, but no room.

I really loved this game, even spent some money in game which I don't often do. Unfortunately I uninstalled after they added the brushes. They seem like such a cash grab. I've noticed from reviews the prices have been lowered for the brushes but still you have to purchase them eventually if you want to clean your horse, there's no alternative. Having a dirty horse lowers their stats. For me, that's an issue for those who would rather not continuously spend money on the game.

The game feels lazy at times. For example, they added more tracks by taking existing ones and flipping them. What was on the right is on the left and vice versa. I am not saying every game needs to be complex, but couldn't you add a bit more? I agree with all the other reviews that say a bit of story could be added. There's a campaign, so why not there? Also removing accounts and progress saving is just a bad idea.

I'm enjoying this game a lot so far! It's not too hard but not too easy, and has great game visuals. I also like that it's not a pay to win but still has things I can buy in shop if I wanted. No complaints about ads either, it's a really fun game, biggest complaint is I'd like to pet the horses or feed them or SOMETHING, it's difficult to connect with the horses because you can't interact with them much and that's one of my favorite things to do in animal/pet games. Other than that 5 stars lol

I love the game! The horses are amazing and there are so many wonderful coats and markings! Although I was looking at the store and it is pretty expensive for just one horse, but the breeding is like a world of infinite amazing possibilities! I wish there was like a map you could explore for fun and I heard something about being able to friend people but I have not figured it out yet. But this game is wonderful!!

I wish there was a bit more story beyond what's in the description (something actually in the game) and tutorial beyond showing the controls during the first race. Feels like there's a lot of random rubber banding depending on what (apparently random) spells you receive when the gauge charges. Haven't gotten very leveled or to breeding, so it remains to be seen if that changes anything. It seems to be strictly a racing game with minimal horse interaction.

This could be a five star game! - the graphics are on par! The horses are designed beautifully and aren't too cartoony - the scenery is breathtaking! - the magic is added fun and irritation at the same time - I absolutely love that this game isn't a money grab. THANK YOU! I just had a few suggestions to make it even more wonderful! - a free roam would give us more of that beautiful scenery and bonding exp! - more races available - and a barn! To feed and care for our horses! Lovely game!

The game is great. It's really good. But for some reason people were expecting something impossible, including me. I love how the micro transactions are practically invisible. I think the Racing controls are very simple and work well. Something I would recommend changing is the animations for the main entail. The tail has limited animations and the main is glued to the horse's neck. Rider customization should definitely be improved. And the cartoon style isn't my thing. But it does look nice.

This is a very decent game. The concept is good. The simple designs are good. The only real problem I've had is sometimes the controls won't do what you want them to do. Like if I go to drift left It'll go right. Or the steering sometimes delays and you run into the boarders. I think just some recalibrating will fix it. For it just coming out on the play store yesterday it handles well; lag has rarely been a problem for me. This game definitely has potential.

This has been one of my favorite mobile games for months now, and I've made a lot of progress on it. While there can be a lot of "pay to win" features, it's a doable challenge to make it on your own, which is a relief when you're struggling financially and can't always afford to pour money in every time you play. Incredibly disappointed with the breeding cooldown that was added, and especially the brushing mechanic. Huge money grab, now I dread each race and honestly don't want to play how it is

I love this game. I've been playing off and on for about a year now. The graphics are beautiful. The horses, colors and patterns are beautiful. The gameplay is smooth. Though I have to say; I do not love the new brush update. (Minus one star) The game was much better without them. The brushes are overpriced in my opinion and in a game where color and patterns matter, a dirty horse is a huge inconvenience. (Minus two stars). The brushes could definitely go bye bye! Amazing game overall though.

Good, consistent animation, so far I only see racing, but the graphics and gameplay is very entertaining, I am 27, my daughter is 5, and we both take turns racing, it's such a fun game that keeps you focused, without requiring you to do a whole lot of organizing or building, you can pretty much race whenever you want! It is still in development, and there are bugs here and there, but the developers seem quick to fix bugs and the updates are happening right along side the big fixes! 5/5 recommend

The graphics and controls are amazing! But you guys should add more options. It gets boring. We could interact with our horses. Feed/water them, pick their hooves, brush, wash, and pet them. Or ride in an open world with other players. Different types of competitions, like dressage. Also, make the competition fair. I grinded and had 12 points off of what I needed in order to reach 1rst in the second tournament. It never allowed me to make or add any more points to my score, no matter what I did.

This game is awesome! It has great graphics, amazing maps, horse coats, stats, etc. The game is simple and yet, astonishing with how much detail has been added. I am in love with the horses and ads are very minimal, which is very nice, especially when considering the amount of ads in other games. The game is easy to learn about and play! It also has an entertaining competitive aspect! Every once in a while the game will be a bit laggy but that problem could just me on my end. This game is great!

I've been playing this game since it was early access and immediately fell in love with it. I stopped playing for awhile and now that I'm back I find the game too hard to progress the way I feel like it used to. The campaign is hard to get all the stars, the other riders are way to fast for the set skill level and seem to be able to use different abilities more than the player also don't lose their held abilities when hit like the player. Hope this gets fixed in the future!
