Winmail.dat Opener

Works well, so far. The only thing that feels superfluous is having to grant access rights for the same folder every time you save an attachment. As for ads, I'd rather pay for an ad-free premium version.

The application opens winmail.dat file and allows me to open attached files but it is impossible to extract these files out of winmail.dat. Even when I select files I want to extract and tap save icon, I can select destination directory, but there is no save button - only cancel.

Unable to open any files and all of which that are sent to me are important. Also after I attempted to open two files, each time afterwards that I recievied a new one by email it won't even show up in the app.

When tapping the file, it says "no app" and won't allow me to pick this installed app. When starting the app, i can't find the file, also not in downloads. Maddening. Not to blame this app but android sucks.

Like other comments, there is always a menu of items to choose from in order to open a file. Not the most intuitive. Not a preferred app..not sure it wasn't the culprit for altering my contacts name to "unknown....". Just not for me

Installed instantly. Opened easily. The ".dat" file opened instantly when this app was running. This is the best ".dat" file opener I've ever used, and I have tried several. I can highly recommend this app. It just WORKS!

Simple file opener that works! Didn't open the winmail.dat direct from the Samsung email app (didn't see I had a valid app for .dat files) but opened all the files within the winmail.dat file stored in Downloads (pdf, images etc) using Android 8.

App stopped working. Needed to open very important documents, now my phone is saying file cannot be opened, there is no app that supports this file. It is a winmail.dat file so why this app isn't opening it, I have no clue.

Very disappointing. Email message somehow grabs an attachment and converts it to a win.dat file. So I dl'd this app/program, opened it and tried to open the attachment, Result: it can't open this type file. Useless.

At last my mind is put at rest. Nothing in any of the files. I complained to the sender but still winmail.dat files are attached to messages sent. I can't read those messages though!

Could open all email attachments except winmail.dat which I receive weekly. So I installed this and I still cannot open them. I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling several times but it still does not work!

Useless download and i was silly and paid for an upgrade. Should have checked first. An email attachment win.dat when try to open says no app, but it is clearly installed. Don't understand how to use it. Bought same app for my iPad earlier today. That worked.

I don't find that this App contains Inappropriate Ads. It's just that I don't feel this App needs Ads as the Ads are Very Much Annoying and Distracting. Then there's the quality time spent in this App it should be formatted so that a 1st timer using this App can Easily know what they should be doing. App could give Suggestions/Choice to Help the 1st time Visitor, make a Correct Choice of where to Save our Information To.

This app is useless, it says that the .dat files I have are not .dat files, even though they clearly are .dat files. 1 star.

Works well. the initial Unknown message is just a permissions issue. once you give the permission it is perfect on Android.

when I first got the app it worked for 4 weeks. I get a wimail/dat attachment e very week it hasn't worked now for 3 weeks. I even uninstalled it and reloaded

Opens winmail.dat files from Thunderbird mail app just fine. Nice and clean app!

Nice app, good recent update. Only minus is files not open automatically and everytime I need open app.

Downloaded as I wanted to open a dat file. Did not work. Don't waste your time downloading this.

It clearly shows that the file type is .DAT type it still shows, it is not a .DAT type file. **PATHETIC APP**
