Fix it! This app has always been glitchy on start, hesitated up to 30 seconds, then opened. Now it fails EVERY time. They must have some sort of ad jammed in front of the opening, which cannot load, leaving a black screen and no more. I'd like a reasonable alternative to News Channel 5, but this forces me there. You must have analytics indicating huge numbers of attempts to connect without serving any data, they're not DDOS attacks, they're your potential viewers screaming at you to "Fix it"!

Well, this app is always glitchy. But every time I've tried to load an article about the ICE raids this week, the app crashes. I've tried every day this week and every article in top stories. It is only the stories on the ICE raids that crash it. I don't know if it is coincidental, accidental, or purposeful. Luckily, this isn't my only news source. I may have to give on this app all together. I only haven't gotten rid of it because I prefer their weather reporting over the other local stations.

Hardly ever loads stories, can only read the first paragraph while it tries to load forever. EDITED: How do yall manage to make an app worse and worse? This app never plays videos and ALWAYS freezes. DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR EMERGENCIES AS IT WILL LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY. update: this app continues to fail every day. i like news 2 but i literally have zero problems from anyone elses app. it cant be just me.

It's caching a May 9th version of the stories on my phone. Every day I get up to the main story of the poor boy and the storm drain. And the only way to update the stories is to delete the app entirely and download it again. I'm thinking your devs hate working on Android and all it's permutations. Guess I'll just go back to the URL.

Crash after crash... after the last update, this app no longer works on my handset. This used to be my go-to app for local news and weather. I guess I'll have to find another source. Please fix the bugs within your app. I'm utilizing Android version 14, UI 6.1 Samsung Galaxy S24 FE

Up to date news, weather and traffic. I love this app. I only use News 2 for all news now. The others I have un installed. I was reeled in to news 2 when I received a traffic report causing a back up to my work and another station reported it 30 minutes later. Excellent work News 2.

There is some bugs that need to be fixed, it freezes when I click on an alert and says app isn't responding. My phone doesn't have an issue with any other app and the app is up to date.

my phone is running Android 15 and this app keeps crashing and then crashing some more pretty much every time that an article is tapped on to view. I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. the issue continues. I enjoy having access to the news and I enjoy channel 2, but this app has a serious BUG that prevents anything being viewed but the main screen. PLEASE FIX YOUR APP

Good for getting news articles to read and get an accurate radar, but the watch live is not good. You are never actually watching live and there is about 30 seconds of news coverage for every 1-2 minutes of Comercials or just a blank standby screen.

You cannot watch the latest weather videos on the app which is all I want out of a nap weather app I should be able to watch the weather that's what I want to do I can't watch it on their app and now that they came out but damn app you can watch it on Google like you used to could what the hell's the problem with showing us your ladies weather videos

This app is an excellent source of pertinent news,weather,and sports related to the middle Tennessee area that I can access anywhere. I enjoy the weather radar's quick download capability. Channel 2 is the only local news affiliate app I use.

I've used this app for years and loved it. However for the last 3 weeks, every time I open it, the same day keeps showing up. May 9th. I have to open & close it 2 or 3 times for it to load the correct day.

I love this app. I don't get cable or satellite tv so I really enjoyed the live stream but since new update there is no sound. I cannot enjoy the team which disappoints me. I can still hear on the weather app and otherwise the app is great.

Very poor user experience. App sends persistent notifications that cause you to open the app, then it takes 1 minute or longer for the app to open, and sometimes it does not open at all.

It was always excellent. All the sudden it's stuck on May 9. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice. I've cleared the junk files, the cache and restarted both my phone and my modem. Still stuck on May 9. Anyone else? Or am I just special?

After update, I receive error message that app cannot connect to internet. I uninstalled and reinstalled and get the same error message. All other apps and internet working. Will need to install a different news app

Ok app same generic app others use. Problem is all of the advertisements. They are so annoying and pop up to cover the whole screen. Horrible practice
