I think it's a good and cool app. I'm no wizard or prompt dictionary, no nothing about codes. I do know a little bit of prompting, somewhat. I pay for my use of it, so I don't get commercials. it's been a good app had it for quite a few years. never locked up maybe once, I rate everything with four stars, because everything can be better! and room for improvement. don't want them getting lazy! Great job!

Generally I love this app. I've been a paying member since 2022, despite the many glitches and that often, it just doesn't work. Today I can't even get past whatever new update they're trying to introduce. I have reinstalled the app and prompted to restore my premium account, except nothing happens. Why do you insist on putting your paying customers through this torture? I have another 8 months left on my annual subscription and no clue as to whether I'll be able to use it again. A rip-off!
Used to love this app. Then they stopped paying any attention to it and it's gotten terrible over the last year or so. Takes FOREVER to generate a set of images. Do no recommend! Overpriced for premium and not maintained to current level of other apps. Oh, also, all of my artwork is gone. I can't seem to publish anything, and my prompt history is very limited.
I'm sure it's ok if you wanna spend money on it, but the subscription price is ridiculous, even for me. Every time I open the app, I notice more & more restrictions on what you can do for free. Things that you used to be able to do are now only for premium, and it only generates 1 image compared to 3 in the past. Not to mention the ads are like, a million times worse. It's a shame what greed can do to potential art.
Some really good art in this app, works pretty well, sometimes it's a bit buggy, and there is one very irritating ad that simply cannot be skipped, so you have to hard close the app, try again, and hope you don't get that one specific ad. That one advertisement is so annoying, the app loses a star just for it. Otherwise, would recommend.
It's pretty good, but I have some complaints, I really find it super annoying that you can't rename/edit your AI photos afterward, because I made a few, but I want to rename them but I can't, also I don't quite understand All of the mechanics of this, but besides those little things I think it's a pretty good AI art generator. Edit, I have to appreciate and mention that this dose kinda work in other languages, I thought that was really cool.
Great app, however, because of the recent hype around AI generated art, due to applications like Dall-E, they've heavily monetized the app; they've added a premium subscription, ads when generating/saving artwork, and when picking styles. There used to be no ads, at least, none that I could find. Because of the opportunity to make a quick buck from the hype generated around this form of media, they've killed the app for me. I'll be uninstalling, it was fun while it lasted.
I used to love this app, and suddenly it became ad ridden and gained a premium. I understand that prices do come with free apps for the developers but please. you don't need an ad before every generation, and then after. I could understand a few styles being premium, but now it's most of them. they really have put a price on creativity and I don't see that as acceptable. especially not for the results it now gives.
I had a lot of fun with this app when it first launched. Now I come back to it to find paywalls and ads. I wouldn't mind so much if the only items behind the paywall were extra styles and the app's dark mode, but art generation itself is now separated into free and premium tiers. It takes several minutes to generate one work of art unless I pay? That's too much by a long shot. Goodbye, Dream, it was fun while it lasted 👋🏼
Well, it was working super well until it started to force me to put in a prompt, with the latest update, when wanting to make a wallpaper when it didn't before. Now, i have to put in some type of prompt even when I do not want to whatsoever. It is just frustrating when I can't even like the wallpaper because I didn't even want to put in the prompt in the first place so it throws off the vibe I guess.
Has a lot of potential for growth. I didn't realize how new the app really was (just over a year old) but it's been good so far. It's worth it to go premium because you have so many more options to play around with. Vids are cool for IG reels. There are reservations though. -Discord. Just don't bother. Servers are hogged by the same users. -Some prompts have (artist?) names on them which isn't reassuring to me when it comes to copyright.
This is a lot of fun to play with! Could be a slight learning curve if you've never used one before (try simpler requests at first) I'm giving this 5 stars because compared to the other free AI art generators I've used, this one has by far the highest quality output and the easiest interface. There are paid features, but the ones you get for free are still worth the download. The ads can be annoying... but no more so than most free games these days.
I love this app. I've had it about 3 years and use it regularly. It's quick, especially compared to some newer ones I've tried recently and the pictures are better straight off. It's by far the best image-to-image generator I've found. I use it to change my photos into things I can imagine but could never create myself and it's awesome. I'm so happy it's back! Oh no. They've removed loads of design styles, inc my favourites like simple design, steampunk, isometric, retro sci-fi. Bring 'em back!
Sigh. Updating my review after almost 3 straight years of use: a LOT of improvements were made, and a lot of fun was had. However, it seems as if the dev team has admitted to no longer supporting this (currently inoperable) app which is extremely upsetting since I paid for a YEAR of premium service. If it still worked I'd give it a higher score, but for now I'm cancelling my subscription and looking for a different app (the devs are fine with this, btw). So long and thanks for all the fish.
What happened? This app was amazing! The art still comes out pretty decent, but you really have to try! Now, an ad pops up almost every 10 seconds. You don't have to press a button or anything, and when you do press a button, you get an ad. So the ads stack some times. If this happens during a creation, it regenerates the photo, and you lose the original. Someone bugged out the ads beyond belief. Even if you pay the weekly premium, you still get these invasive ads
Enjoyed using Dream on the website very much. Sadly, the app is unusable--if there is a way to copy & paste my favorite prompts, I can't find it. And every attempt is interrupted by an a video ad for a different app, as if they knew that this app in itself will not keep me entertained anymore. If there were a good way to c&p and do other basic things, *and* if the app did not commit the cardinal sin of interrupting my music to play ads (the web version never did), then I'd love to keep playing.
It's no good if you're a free user. It is absolutely unusable if you don't pay for it. Can't do anything without incessant intrusive pop-ups. I get that it's a free app, but there are more ads than actual content. The ads are much more frequent and intrusive than even other free apps. Every single move you make brings up an ad. Regenerate image? Ad. Save image? Ad. Back up? Ad. Backspace one letter in your prompt? Ad. Look at the image longer than five seconds? Ad.
The look of the update is confusing as heck, the old version was waay better. The new aspect ratio thing is confusing and sucks. Also when I try to generate an image it won't do it, just gives a black image. The pricing for premium is ridiculous, 10 dollars a MONTH? I'd be willing to pay a one time fee but it is certainly not worth over 100 dollars a year. It would be better to just release the free version AND the premium version as separate apps. Would prevent the constant pushing for premium.
I've had a lot of fun playing with this app for a good while now. Unfortunately the last few months I've used it to quiet my brain before bed. 1-2 pop-ups per image pushing to pay is reasonable for a free app. A couple days ago it started adding a video ad with every image you generate. So much for relaxing before bed, I jump out of my skin every time. If it was just once every four or five it wouldn't be as bad but this makes it a LOT less fun. Can't afford it so just use the app less, I guess.
When I first downloaded this app I'd say it deserved 5 stars. For a free app there were so many styles and it created amazing a.i. art. The ads weren't disruptive. Now the ads play before you can create the art, while it's creating the art, after you create it before you can save it. It also won't even create anything. It just gets stuck after the ads. It's honestly trash now. I'd rather delete the app instead of paying premium. You shouldn't have let greed ruin a near perfect app.
