Word Trip - Word Puzzle Game

Simple, but fun word game. However, it has some of the worst pop ups for events that I've ever seen. Sometimes I would be in the middle of a puzzle and have 4-5 different events pop up, which made me completely lose my groove—the opposite of relaxing! If people want to join the event, they will click one of the icons around the puzzle. There is no need to remind them 3 times in the middle of puzzles. It's okay other than that!

The game has auto downloaded other games on my device without my permission. Also has pop-ups to install another game without a way of closing pop-up. You have to close game completely to get rid of pop-up. WAY too many ads. You pretty much have to watch an ad between every sramble. It's really a shame because otherwise I like this game.

The game is okay, but has nothing extra to set it apart from or above the plethora of apps already in this genre. Except for the unacceptable number of ads. Ads after every...single...level. The interruptions destroy any hope of relaxation, and worse, make the game incredibly laggy. I uninstalled and will continue to play my other word games instead.

I've played this game for 8-10 years. I expect ads in a free game, but the amount of pop-up, in-game ads have increased over time to the point that it's not enjoyable anymore.The developers snap back to all of the criticism that it's necessary,but they're running off users. I'm going to delete this game, even though I've gone through all of the countries and have solved nearly 11,000 puzzles. I'm fed up with the greed that makes the game so frustrating and not at all relaxing. Badly done.

its a fun game, when the ads let you play. multiple ads per level makes it hard to play this game for too long. Way too many ads for a basic game. 5 ads in 3 minutes. more ad time then game time. i played for a year or more,but i dont have time to watch more ads than play a game. if they need revenue this bad, they should just fold and delete the app. it is horrible

The game itself is great, and I would give it 4-5 stars easily. The problem is that, whoever is serving the ads in the game, lately decided it was a great idea to insert ads with loud AUDIO while playing. I don't mind normal ads, or the wait, but these type of ads are terribly intrusive and annoying. I'll probably uninstall it

I love that it's less competitive than the other ones, but the ads in this one are horrible. Every. Single. Game. A lot of them are 30 seconds and unskippable - the ones that are unskippable trick you into pressing an unpressable x that only works after you've gotten forced into another page. If it's a good game like this, you don't need to be so aggressive with the ads. You'll have regular users that will easily make up for it.

Despite missing real words and some iffy definitions, this game could be quite fun and addicting. Unfortunately, the developers ruin it with ads. It's bad enough waiting to skip 2-3 ads after almost every puzzle, but some of them automatically force open your app store, sometimes making the game restart when you try to switch back. Most of the time, it was faster to just restart the game right after solving every puzzle. Luckily, I only played this for a money offer so I can finally uninstall.

Game play is okay, but ads are intrusive at a level I've never seen, even in free apps. On top of it they are predatory, designed to trick users into clicking through to the install page on the app store. Newly some won't let you leave until you DO click them. Like, there is no way to exit the ad without doing so. What's worse, I've had this app installed for a while and these practices have increased in volume and deviance significantly over time. I will be uninstalling now.

The game is pretty fun but the ads are very overbearing. Many of them are at least 30 seconds long and impossible to quit. Also, even with all of the game sounds turned off, many of the ads have loud and annoying music. I wouldn't mind finding another word game. UPDATE - the ads are getting worse and worse so I took away another star. I'm getting close to uninstalling and finding something less intrusive. Ridiculous.

can't get through even a single level without popups trying to stop you from playing the game. constant intrusive popups. New quiz! New event! new tournament! no option to tell them "no", you must particpate in everything, all for meaningless rewards not needed or relevant for a word puzzle game. Often trying to get you to install stuff. Not to mention some of the ads between puzzles are unskippable, and even the skippable ones bring you to the download page of other apps. VERY unprofessional.

the game is fine, but holy hell do they do everything possible to prevent you from playing it. Bonuses I didn't ask for with unstoppable animations, suggestions to play *other* games instead of this one in the middle of rounds, and the last straw: unstoppable audio ads playing *during* gameplay. I know ads are necessary. But the ads in this game are supremely excessive.

Stiil no resolution. ... THIS HAD BEEN RESOLVED A COUPLE TIMES BEFORE AND IS HAPPENING AGAIN - 3RD TIME. CONTACTED DEVELOPERS. NO ANSWER YET Love playing, buuuut.... I've been playing the game for a few years now (right now, I've played 748 DAYS IN A ROW). A few years ago, I broke down and paid to go ad free, which made the game much more enjoyable. However, in the last couple of days, ads have started popping up again after every round, and it's really annoying. NOT COOL. HELP ME DEVELOPERS!

Absolutely absurd amount of ads. I know the objective of this company is to make money but having pop up ads within the game on top of other ads going across the screen during gameplay is ridiculous. Greedy company. Update: they responded trying to justify why they have so many ads. Other apps and developers aren't even this greedy. And then they say I can choose an ad free pack which gives them more money. I'll just put my phone on airplane mode and avoid ads that way. nice try, idiots.

The developer tries to force the player to accept other games by not allowing the player to simply close or deny the offer. Have to close the game then reopen to skip the offer. Then it does it again and again. Very annoying for a game that's supposed to be relaxing. The game itself is fun and would have earned 5 stars if it wasn't for the extras and ads it keeps forcing the player to either accept or close the game.

This used to be one of my favorite games to play, but the ADS are incredibly excessive. Every time you finish a page you get a long ad that either forces, or tricks you into clicking into the app store. Uninstalled, and hope they listen to the reviews and stop running players off with the ridiculous ads. They would make way more money if they cut down the number of ads and actually kept players that wouldn't immediately uninstall. Such a shame.

Finally deleting due to incessant ads. If I have to see one more Snapchat minute and 30 seconds add, I can't take it. It's a good game. I like the challenges. They have some great features. It gets harder as you go on. What I hate is the fact that they have a lot of ads and of course, the ads go on for way too long. I don't mind 10 to 15 second clips but their ads go on for minutes at a time and I end up shutting the app. So I'm removing two stars for that

Too many ads! Why is there a 30-second ad between each level? It distracts from enjoyment of an otherwise nice game. Update: I went ahead and paid for ad-free and have played it for two years. It glitched once and set me back a couple hundred levels, but was still fun. Now it's glitching and the ads are back between every single level. I give up.

The game was just fine for a while until... yup... ads. Before I could play the game a few rounds and an ad would pop up, but I'd be able to skip it like 5 seconds in. Now I'm more than annoyed because after EVERY round there is a FULL 30 45 second ad. And the same dumb azz ad at that. Ready to uninstall. Sheesh! I was really enjoying playing this game. Went the way of all the other irritating games I like but can't play because of ads.

Good game, good progression of difficulty. It does have a lot of ads, but if that's a problem for you then buy the game. My main gripe is the "incentives" to allow notifications so it can send you ads when you are not playing. I'm barely invested in the games points system, and it is already trying to play to my in-game-greediness lol. I do like the game so it's a keeper.
