Word Wiz - Connect Words Game

I love playing the game. I've been playing it for years, but recently it's overrun by temu adds that CAN'T BE CLOSED! They just sit there, and if you touch any party of the screen it takes you to their website! I've actually waited for well over a minute and and still won't allow you to close them! The only hope is to actually exit out of the app, then reopen it! If something doesn't change, I'll have to get rid of one of my favorite games! I'm sick of going through this!

I wrote a review in your solitaire game. Your games are easy to deal with. Great to play, with one exception. I am okay with commercials. As long as you can get back to the game. Ads are larger than my screen, without a way to close it. Except by completely leaving. This is getting old. Please get a real designer for ads! If you look at my history, I have had your solitaire for years. You have made good money from that. It should not require a restart to play a game.

Just as boring, repetitive, and unoriginal as the rest. Nothing unique here, nothing challenging, and nothing separating it from every other game out there. They had an original game, but it broke. For over 3 years, I waited for them to fix it. So I know they'll never fix this one either. They don't even want your loyalty. Just a money grab to show ads.

I loved playing this game. It's something I look forward to every day. Now, however, after solving the daily puzzle, I'm not able to finish a regular puzzle because it freezes the very last word. I've restarted, forced stop, & tried to finish both the casual & challenging puzzle. I know that I've entered the last word correctly. I hope I can fix without losing my rating. I'm over 665 puzzles now.

Game is fun, but glitchy. It freezes up, won't load, takes forever to load, etc. Even with the game set to mute, some ads sneak through with blaring, annoying sound effects. No way to pay to block ads, other than to buy useless credits, and even then, the ad free experience only lasts a few days. I'm disappointed, because it doesn't meet Mobilityware's typical high quality. I've deleted it from my phone.

I enjoyed this game until the latest update. I would play a puzzle to get my mind in gear and then do the daily puzzle. Now I can't get back to the landing page without restarting the game. And removing the seed letter from the daily puzzle was just a terrible idea. The daily puzzle was a bit of a crapshoot before, but now it is no longer fun to play. The ads forced upon the user cover up the scoring and title changes. I understand the need for ads, but they need to be handled better.

Uses too many gigabytes for me to play more than one game at a time! Boo! Otherwise I would play forever! Much better except when I finish with the first group of the day, then push on the number for the next group, all that will come up is a blank screen. I have to log out of the game and get back into it sometimes several times for it to get to the correct place. Then it usually works ok.

7-11-2025 I don't know what is going on with this app. An add shows up while playing and I have to get out to continue to play. I play for about 30 or so seconds and the same add pops up. I don't know if it has been hacked or if I has a bug. might have to delete it. 😤 So far I like it. Update 11-2020 now that adds show up to buy letters and I haven't purchased any the game locked up and won't open. May have to delete and find another word game --so sad

This game is now my 8th Mobilityware game. The game is challenging as it requires more completed puzzles to finish the bonus words whereas other games don't. It's a GREAT way to make the game unique. The daily puzzle for extra coins is fun too, I also like the icon that provides definitions for words I haven't known, I can check for the definition. It's even more challenging when some of the obvious 3&4 letter words aren't in the puzzle but end up as extra points.

I've tried everything from Scrabble to Crosswords and got easily bored. This game keeps my interest and I don't get bored. I've been being playing for days and have been entertained & curious. I enjoy this game enough to put it into my tablet! Something that doesn't always happen.** Almost 3 weeks later, I've been binge-playing this game and am still having a great time finishing the puzzles. Am getting kinda' smug at winning, and only a little bored.

Used to play well, now you cannot get ads for hints and it crashes constantly. Needs to be fixed. Has there been an update? Those always messes things up. Edit...constant daily crashes and not allowing you to play. Fix this problem or it will be uninstalled. Warning, do not waste time downloading this game. It does not work. Days of constant crashing. Are you ever going to fix the problem???? Edit...weeks later and STILL no resolution. Are you EVER going to fix this game???

I enjoyed the game, especially the challenged games, however, I didn't like when I was in the process of making a word, it wouldn't let me finish spelling it because an ad would suddenly appear and kick me out during the the spelling. Also when I reached level 4, the game kept freezing up, I would venture to say at least 5 or 6 times. Very disappointed at that point. Hopefully you guys can fix all the bugs and I will be more than happy to re-install the game.

If this game didn't have any duplicate puzzles, I would rank it 5. The ads aren't too obnoxious, the accepted words for "bonus" points as adequate, though some words it accepts are a bit of a stretch, and some words it doesn't accept are also a stretch (in the other direction). I have been playing quite a bit and am up to 2753. Wish I knew what the average level is. Not a bad game, and it works pretty much the way it's supposed to.

There were no directions or settings that were easy to find. Also, I found 14 words with the letters that didn't fit the puzzle. I think I should get credit for that! Update...5/24. Really? You took away the chance for more points by solving x amount of puzzles for ads every transition and new backgrounds??? So disappointed in this new update.Update 11/24. The new upgrade still sucks. The background picture has changed only 3 times since May...and one of the " changes" was the same picture!!!

Update: Don't have to wait as long to bypass ads. Would be nice to have a Pro version that removes the ads, completely! Great game, ruined by constant ads!! Difficult to play game when constantly interrupted! Might have given 5* otherwise. Nearly to the point of uninstalling! Downright shameful to allow it to ruin a good game! Too bad there's no option to upgrade to version with no ads!!

I like this word game more than others since it is set up like a crossword board, which makes words easier to create. Also it offers a choice of difficulty levels. It's pleasantly easy on the eyes & rewarding! I've read some 2,3 & 4 star reviews here ~ I suggest they try "CodyCross" it is Seriously Fun + has multiple options. You learn, you laugh, you win!

Love it. Very few ads, good rewards. Still Loving it. Sep 3.... Still Loving it. One of my favorite games. The only problem is that sometimes the dark squares against the dark background are hard to discern. Other than that, I would recommend it to anyone who likes crosswords. Sep 5.... Just got to level 1310. Still having a problem with dark on dark. If you do an update, can you change the boxes to a lighter color so they're easier to find. Other than that, I'll keep on playing 😸

Words are overly simple even at the challenging level. Evidently it's producers have very limited vocabulary, as the same words keep reappearing in many puzzles. I find it uses many words with negative connotation and I wonder if they are trying to influence the gamers mental attitude or inclination. And the fact that it's never ending drives me crazy! It just keeps bouncing up to the next puzzle with no real challenges.

Had to edit previous glowing review. It often freezes on opening now. No way to play or escape without closing the game down. And it does repeat the words in puzzles, using pluarals while there are better, different words you can make. Maybe its the crossword that trips the dev. s who make these types of games. There are puzzles that would help that. Gives the choices of regular or more challenging play. Great balance of game play & ads.

Dull... same words continually crop up, it unclear what the 2 different levels are about as i couldnt tell any difference. I thought the game would get more challenging it doesn't. Dont bother downloading this game, as it won't stretch you, but it will bore you. Oh and the blooming adverts are long and very frequent. Edit: I deleted the app after reading the other reviews, i realised the game wasn't going to improve!
