It's so freaking nice to have WordPress on my favorite computer, Android! 😎 That instant posting with the app widget thing is unbeatable (web interface, time to catch up). 🤩 Biggest issue for me so far: The media uploader changes the names of all the files I upload. I want my files to have specific slugs so I name them before uploading. But I noticed the names and slugs kept turning to gibberish. Then noticed the web uploader doesn't do this. I'm back to using the web until this is fixed.

I really do love Wordpress. It is the only free blog that has ever met my needs. I tend to write long posts and often then depression sets in and I stop writing for days, months, sometimes even years. But my blog is always there. It is fairly easy to use and isn't limiting, there are plenty of blog styles that are attractive as well. I do have one issue though. I have two blogs on wordpress and wish that I could have them both on my android app without having to add the other account and password every time I switch over. I often post multiple times a day when I'm actively writing. So if you could make that password thing optional after the first time, that would be great. Thank you, Wordpress.

More a 4.5 than a full 5, but I do love the app. I don't use it for writing, but it is a great way to keep up with other bloggers you follow without needing to use a desktop or laptop. The annoying thing about it for writing is that I justify my text and once you open a post to edit it via the app, for some reason it left justifies everything. When I want to use my phone for actual blogging, I sign in via my mobile Chrome browser.

Frustrated. This app worked one moment, then stopped all of a sudden. Then I get a new error that says the server is missing XML-RPC methods...well, they were there a moment ago, right? So now I can't login at all on the app. I would just really like a smooth interface to my site so I can upload photos easily, and this has been a hassle. Hoping it gets resolved soon.

Sigh. For years I stayed awau from this as it would be an exercise in hair-pulling. Recently tried it again and at first it seemed to improve. Then the next day the app simply refuses to open. Crashes every time. Aside from that, it had clunkiness to it uploading images. A main reason for using this is remote image uploads from the phone you're using! Meanwhile I just use the browser on my phone and that does everything fine. I don't quite understand how that works great yet a mobile app fails.

This is a really close mirror to the desktop site, so very good and easy on the user. The paragraph editor translates poorly though -- you can't just open the app and type in plain text, and formatting is not contained in the text box like in most apps. For instance, you have to change the whole paragraph type to "list" to get a bulleted list. The formatting menus for each paragraph are hidden because they are smaller components of a text box. Really annoying and a hindrance to simply writing.

The app could use some work. It's great for when I'm away from my laptop, but some customization features aren't present in the mobile app and there's a formatting glitch that makes posting difficult. I cannot customize my message, write an excerpt, or customize my slug when on the mobile app. I'd love it if I could. The formatting glitch happens every time I have to go back in my writing and add or delete sentences. It will change all previous text to headings. Pretty great otherwise.

App keeps freezing and crashing. I got the app so I could upload pictures directly from my phone. But the majority of the time, something goes wrong. I thought using the app would make it more convenient to update my blog, but it is more frustrating and time consuming than transferring pictures to my computer and uploading them to my blog from there.

This app is very very limited in what it can do, compared to the site. Shame, considering users do most social media, photography and videography from mobile devices. There is no ability to link to other pages on the site when creating a new post, aside from manually entering the URL. Feature request: Bring up a list of links to choose from on our own site when tapping the link option.

I really do love having a free place to blog. It's a great idea! But they seriously need to work on testing for user friendliness. There's a lot of buttons, in a lot of different places, and they are not intuitive. It's not a small learning curve, even for someone who considers themselves pretty tech savvy. I use it about once a week (have been for six months or so) and I'm still working to remember where certain buttons are. But, it's free. I still use it 🤷🏼‍♀️

The Wordpress app makes updating posts on my website much easier and more convenient. My only problem is that I often get "Upload failed" when I try to add a new post. Sometimes it works perfect and then other times I get "Upload failed." I haven't been able to figure out why. If the app was more consistent, it would definitely be 5 stars.

A good app to use on the go. The website is less clunky. I import my podcast from Spotify For Podcasters and the app doesn't have a "podcast feed" block I can add like the website does... The app just an "audio" block. So it doesn't have the same controls for a podcast feed like advancing the audio 30 seconds. It would be advisable to add the "Podcast Player" block to the options for the mobile app.

I'm very disappointed with this app as WordPress is supposed to be the leader for blogging. Can't save a draft just on the device when there's an internet connection. Can't create a post draft with pictures when offline. No control of the layout of photos when using "Tiled Gallery" and no preview of such posts. Unable to set geo-location for a post. This bug has been there in over a year and still hasn't been fixed.

I have been using wordpress for 4 yrs and generally love it. But the most recent changes (mobile app) has caused glitches of a variety. It no longer handles long posts well, and will freeze, loose text, and crash all together. Even in shorter posts it can hang up switching/adding blocks, and sometimes drops portions of text. Initially I thought it was just me, but I see here with other comments I am not alone. I do wish I could uninstall just the last update as it was working fine prior.

I used to have a 5 star rating. Not anymore. This latest incarnation of the app is more bloatware. Slow to load, poor layout, overengineered crud. It's like the developers said: 'Hey, we have greaf stuff on our apps that people like and are fast, what if we turned a great product into utter refuse?! That'll bring in the users!" Seriously. I am even getting out of memory errors when trying to write a blog post! I'm sory, is 64GB RAM on a cellphone no longer enough memory to post text?!

Ugh! These formatting issues! I don't like having to double space between every line just to have a sentence readable. If I'm putting a poem, it turns into a big block of words crammed together. If I'm writing in paragraphs, sentences conbine. The block editor is easier to switch out of in mobile, but it's worse in desktop where i can't edit. Deleted posts are still visible. i lose formatting when i edit. It messes up worse when i copy/paste. I wish the formatting and editing were smoother.

I like the format of this app and I wanted to get a more accurate reading of what data I use instead of using the browser. However the app is very slow and clunky. As I'm typing in the block and reach the end of the block, it doesn't open up as I am typing more. Also the app is often unresponsive even though Android isn't picking up on that. I have had to force close the app in order to continue. It makes it difficult when typing a blog and takes longer.

I'm pretty new to this app, but they must've got their stuff together recently. Everything works really well (except for some glitching when you make new paragraphs, but I'm pretty used to this sort of thing and you can learn how to manage the issue) and I've only found 1 block that isn't supported so far. Quick and easy to use though, and will be using this app from now on to work on my site! It's much easier then the mobile site even ^^

Man, I gotta say, the WordPress Android app has really let me down. 😔 Its upload function is all over the place, and it's super frustrating! Every time I try to make changes to my site, I keep running into these annoying error messages that stop me from uploading successfully. Like, seriously?! 😡 It's such a buzzkill when I manage to upload something, but those wins are totally overshadowed by the constant "not able to upload" errors. Ugh! 🙄 This app needs to get its act together and fix it.

I wanted to like this app so much. It would have been useful. Unfortunately, in the two weeks since installing it, it has crashed twice. Both times losing multiple blog post drafts in the process. Losing local drafts to get a message which says, "Posts couldn't be refreshed at this time." Lost posts, lost time. Very frustrating to say the least.
