This has been very helpful to help my family/friends overseas. Only a small fee required when use debit card and slightly more when use credit(I think it's based on a percentage as it's goes higher based on the amount you send). Of course what they receive is based on current rate of exchange between your countries. Been using over a year with no issues. Thank you so much.

The application is okay and the UI has been improving. However there is a bug in your chat UI , on Android. You cannot preview/ see the text you are typing when the keyboard pops up . It gets to a point where you just type and hope for the best . Secondly please can you add Google pay and Apple Pay as part of your payment options ? You competitor have it . It's a little bit huge convenience .

Transfer won't succeed. Customer service was utterly useless. After 2 failed attempts with absolutely zero explanation, my account was "temporarily deactivated", again with zero explanation. Says to check email for correspondence... been waiting for that email for 2 days now. The only thing I have good to say is that they at least refunded my money quickly, unlike some of the others that have left negative reviews.

They've asked me to verify my account multiple times and I've always provided the required information. They initiated another account verification nearly 5 months ago and I still can't use my account. I followed up multiple times and I am always told someone will reach out to me but haven't heard from them. UPDATE: It's now February 2026 and no one have reached out to me yet. Have contacted them multiple times and every single time they say someone will reachout to you within 24 hours. Lies!

I used this app for a long time. Then without warning my account was placed "under review". If you send too often, even if you are way under dollar limits, this and other transfer apps will just shut you down and demand to see all kinds of personal and financial information on you and your recipients, which I'm not going to do. So I uninstalled it. Advice to users - send once a month not several times a month.

I've used world remit for years and it's always worked well. But it's been a year since I wrote my last review... when are you going to add the ability to properly manage receivers? I should be able to edit the contact. Add more than one cell phone number. Add more details. Change bank details. Etc. right now I can only add a new receiver or delete one. This really would make the app more useful!

Been using this app for a few years now, and recently the app doesn't process my transfers, it gets stuck on "Setting up" and stays there. Also, it doesn't let me cancel these transactions that are stuck on "Setting up". It seems that the links aren't working after I go to the "Help" option and click on "cancel transfer". Please fix this issue.

Some of the worst customer service you'll experience. Good luck getting them to answer the phone. Automated voice says wait time is 5 to 10 minutes...more like 1 to 2 hours. Tried to send money to Kenya and it's stuck in their system. Tried a lesser amount with the same card, same person with no change to information and went through. But the higher amount is stuck in their system even though it's been deducted from my bank account. So they have my money and are doing nothing with it. Fixed it.

Has to be an easier way. After entering all my private and personal information and the recipient information the transfer process begins. Application notification says it will take minutes. I did not receive text or email that I was "in progress" status. I was at a lost. Closed the app. Restarting phone thinking that this app will update more quickly, and nothing. After several minutes I get notified transfer is cancelled. Just wonderful.

The app and service worked well for a few months, with money arriving to my family within a few hours. On a rare occasion when we needed customer service, they answered the phone but didn't do anything. Now, it can take as long as three or four days for a small transfer. Customer service is literally nonexistent!!! As well, they recently had a massive failure of service, completely disastrous with zero communication to customer!!! Promo/3 free tx never worked!

It's easy to send $$$ to my home country 🇲🇽 without any hassle and I highly recommend it to anyone out there. Update: I have recently been having issues in not being able to send money due to my bank (PNC) debit card getting declined or my bank cancelling the transactions and gonna have to figure out what is going on. Update: Issues with my bank/card has been fixed after a few weeks a while ago and the app has been working fine ever since.

The app generally performs well, but it suddenly stopped accepting my debit card, which meant I would always have to pay the credit card fee. After talking with my bank/card and World remit support several times, the issue was never resolved. Worldremit support just said it was a known issue, but nothing ever happened. I've moved to Remitly, and it's working perfectly.

This app worked fine in the beginning. But it stops working, and they use every excuse as to why your transfers don't work anymore other than admitting that their app has issues. Read the other reviews, and you'll see the same issues from many others. There are multiple transaction numbers, your contact number is useless, and I'm already verified, so why would I need the ID help. I haven't been refunded for four transactions,and three are still in progress for more than two days. -⭐️

Fastest ending account I ever had. Tried to send money to a family member, 4 times, when the smallest amount was canceled and refunded, and then my account was disabled. They can't tell me why, but at least they refunded the transactions that didn't go through. Definitely not using again, and not recommending to anyone. Better to stick with Western Union.

The worst. Sometimes the money gets there within the hour. Other (at random) times they ask for document after document including ones I've already submitted. Currently in a five-day delay and they won't let me cancel in order to send by a reliable service. Reading all these reviews it seems they're playing the float -- holding up transfers to collect the interest. Don't reply "let's chat" without a name and phone number.

Transaction is taking much longer than usual, it's even a transaction I have made before (mobile money transfer to same account). Poor communication about it, only two identical emails saying to wait a bit a longer as they "resolve things". I am afraid to cancel and ask for a refund now since I fear it will take even longer to resolve.. Until now the app worked well, but based on other reviews there quality of service has plummeted recently. As is I cannot recommend WR, better use another method

This service is capricious and frustrating. When I attempted a transfer, they refused the transfer and closed the account, no explanations given. This was after they had debited the amount from bank. Hold time on phone can be very long, almost always over 20 mins. Once your account has been closed, you have no other option then using the phone. The app, instead of telling you that the account has been closed, goes into an infinite password chance loop. Avoid doing business with this company.

It charges your card first. And then it asks the receivers details. Only to let you know that the mobile account number has an issue. So that you will have to go through a lengthy refund process for which it lures you into believing cancellation demand was submitted. Which is not the case until you call and wait for an eternity for an available agent. Once you change the mobile provider after refund, yet the App will charge you without allowing you to enter the associated account number.

They only speak to customers who have certain issues as stated by their AI prompt when you call. If it is any other issue, you have to go figure because even their FaQ page doesn't solve nothing. Just to update my details, it is not working. Sending out cash is not working. If I could I would have rated it minus zero because it is nonsensical. I have people waiting for cash, and they can't get it because of them .
