it's awkward for a first time buyer when you install the app, put items in your cart, go to cart and you are ready to place your order that it diverts you out of the app to your browser to setup payment, then you exit the browser to go back to the app to complete your purchase. I don't think I have ever had to do that with any other app, seller, etc. very clumsy. seems like an app developer doesn't quite know how to do what they need to do.
App is highly bugged. I often have login issues. Sometimes I'll get a bug upon order completion, it'll say my order has been successfully placed but then throw an error that says it didn't go through and I need to call customer service
I used to buy from Grainger many years ago, while working at Calvary Chaple Fort Lauderdale. it was very close to our church and they seemed to always have the part I needed. I have moved farther north. Fort Pierce, Florida. So I have not been buying from them for a long time. I will be down in the Pompano Beach area on Friday and will be buying some 4" wheels for a cart we have up this way. So I am looking forward in getting back down there and knowing they have taken care of me before.
Direct search options are quite often a problem. If you type in one thing, you'll never be able to find that specific item. Even though Granger does sell it.
This app/company sponsors/runs advertisements on another gaming system called " world of warships blitz" which has been known to scam and lie to its customers... don't support this app while they continue to patronize cheating gamers!!
It's not a real app. It won't let you log in without redirecting you to Google Chrome browser. If you don't have that particular browser installed, #&-- you, I guess. It also seems to be slower than their website. Why I would use this is beyond me.
Great and fast service. Great products and prices!!!
Needs a better way of signing in. Biometric isn't working. *Work sleeves should be sold, AS A PAIR OF SLEEVES! 😡
Website is a tad temperamental at times, but other than that it's all good.
difficult website to use. hard to narrow down what you need. mobile app needs password and user 2-3 times to place order.
Useless — can't login on android app Feb. 5th update
pressing submit order and the after loading complete the site does move to the next page
Easy ordering and pickup is close by...
everything works, but searching is often easier on google than it is on this app/ website. can be very frustrating.
I've downloaded the app 3 times for my business. But every time I go to use it.It says update required when I go to the Google Play Store. There is no update available.
you can't modify the quantity for an item in the cart, you can change the number on the cart but it does not take effect.
Perfect supplier for many of my needs!
Used to be a decent experience to find what we needed. Now it's absolutely useless. Open app - white screen - closes. Imagine being such a massive company and going cheap on an app which makes it even easier to funnel more money into the company. Obviously a "low bidder" won the contract to make it. Guess it's time to delete the app until they get it together.
The many negative reviews do indeed appear to have good reason. I love Grainger. However this app has tremendous issues. 1) If you aren't signed in, the app refuses to show any categories or items, and only returns a completely ambiguous "service unavailable". 2) If you have trouble signing in, the would-be-helpful "forgot password" and "forgot username" options cause a similar senseless error with no recourse. 3) If not signed in, a Search returns another ridiculous "system error... try again"
"Server not responding" message is frustrating. 2 weeks ago, it suddenly erased everything in my cart, only to find out that it had actually placed an order, but with a pickup location that was not my default one. Also, it selected "pay upon pickup", which I never choose. The app wouldn't give me any info - I found out from a confirmation email. Edit: App seems to be working much better. Sometimes shows items that aren't available for purchase, but changing rating from 2 stars to 4.
