Be careful updating this app. It now requires an internet connection for the app to work and "re-authorize" your account every couple weeks. Very sneaky and not mentioned. Meaning if you use this on a non cellular tablet and get stuck at the bottom of the hill, good chance the app won't work and let you switch back to AWD-until you find wifi or hope your cell phone hot spot works.... Was 5 stars until they did this. Otherwise everything works great.

2008 535xi to RWD. Amazing! It boggles my mind that BMW had the technology somehow so that it's possible for me to flash on my phone so many options for AWD to RWD and everything in-between. Why didn't it come with a button you push as an option back in 2008? Now,15 years later, although I've had it for 2 years now , I can flash it with my phone in 45 seconds? There are some brilliant minds behind this app,and I tip my hat to them every time I get behind the wheel. With MHD & alot of mods WOW!

So I bought the license a couple of months after they released. Worked fine the many times I used it. Recently tried to use it and for some reason my license is gone, It prompts me to buy another license. I have tried to contact them but they don’t reply, customer service is subpar. Sucks Now my car is stuck in a certain mode and cant revert back to oem without spending the money again which makes no sense. I really hope I find a solution to this but so far I have no hopes. Got a reply back and are working on figuring it out! Thanks

Last update broke the app, I've tried 4 different devices, including an iPhone and all of them fail while flashing, with 3 different types of connectors wired and wireless, I almost got stranded at work. Now I'm stuck in rwd and idk if it's even safe to drive. Keeps showing an error that it fails to connect AFTER beginning the flashing process, all other apps I use, bootmod3, bimmercode, etc work fine.

The app itself is fine, however after xdrive is deleted I constantly get traction light on the highway when trying to pass other cars and engine cuts power. This is in hot sticky summer heat with aftermarket summer tires and only a 240hp car. There is no way a car weighing 3500 lbs can possibly lose traction at 60mph in dry hot pavement consistently. So there must be something within the cars sensors that don't like effect of disabling xdrive. Anyway I went back to stock and don't recommend.

Needs to connect to the internet on every launch to verify your license. Got stuck off road out of reception, could not turn xDrive back on. once the license is purchased - it should persist in the device, otherwise you'll be stuck in an emergency because the developer is too greedy and is more obsessed with someone potentially stealing their app than with customer's safety. would not recommend.

I see there are a lot of bad ratings, but I can only give 5 starts as had no issues at all. It might be due to the fact I'm using a cable and not a bluetooth connection while switching between modes. This winter, due to ample supplt of snow, I can definetely say it was worth getting xdrive and xdelete provides an option to go hooligan when you feel like it. Best of both worlds. I'm on a super old android device which is probably no longer supported. can no longer use the app I paid over $200 for... updating was a big mistake because it worked great before. looks like I would need a new cable or wireless device to use withmy new phone?? tried using an adapter with the cord I already had

Works great...when it will actually connect. The app is iffy on connection. I have no issues with other apps that need to connect to the Bluetooth device of the car so I'm not sure why XDelete has such a problem. Normally about the 5th-10th time it'll connect & flash. So when it works it's great but it shouldn't take 15min of opening the app and closing the app multiple times to get it to connect.

Coded just fine before but now it doesn't connect and it's not an issue with my phone it's something about the connection to USB it won't allow tethering because there's no Internet connection...... Obv not it's not an Internet Ethernet but Android Samsung specifically automatically disconnects so :/ I can't use it anymore thank goodness I reverted back to AWD before winter but now I can't use it anymore

It's okay but it really sucks and it's frustrating the company doesn't answer the phone and if they don't include any instructions and it's just a nightmare of you know it's like sending up smoke signals to Tom Edison to catch with a kite it's ridiculous plus while I'm bitching what's up with the Deccan cables why are there USB a when I try to put it through an adapter it doesn't work anyways though two wheel drive is cool

Fast, Up-To-Date UI, works flawlessly. I had a bit of trouble getting the app to connect to my car when I upgraded to a pixel 9. Weirdly enough it worked after enabling the camera permission. Support was quick to respond.

The app and functionality is good, but there is one bad note: This app time from time requires authorisation and consequently internet connection. Sometimes I have to use this app in order to enable XDrive and in this place (deep forest or field) there is probability that the internet connection is empty. My suggestion is the app to show a notification that the season is going to be excited "Please login"

Careful getting this, if you like doing awd launches and getting off the line quick, once you flash this it'll never go back to how it use to fully awd. Even when you flash it back to "stock" it still won't be ad fast and will feel off everytime you launch.

I can't log in. Authorisation Error Error 403: disallowed_useragent All applications on my phone are up to date. I use Firefox 68.10.1. I don't have Chrome and I don't want to install it. Are you saying I can't use your product because of this? I can log in on xHP. Do they use different login methods? I use Google login services on many apps on my phone, this is the only one that doesn't work. It does not work with username and password either. As I said before... it works with xHP.

Wow this really transforms the car. It is so much better in the corners, steering feel is supperb now. The on/off alone is worth it, yet you get so much more than just that now with built in modes and custom tuning. Well worth every dollar spent in my opinion.

This is a great app to get if you are planning to mod your bmw for hp increase. Being able to switch from all wheel drive to rear wheel drive greatly increases the longevity of your front differential and gets rid of the over steer associated with the x-drive system. 👍

App worked great for years. You updated. Now it doesn't work at all!!!!! I tried 2 different phones and my tablet still wont work! I want the old app back, it was nice and simple!!!! And It worked!!!!!

The app itself is good, unfortunately when I activate xdelete I'm unable to stay in sport plus if I disable the traction, but if I disable xdelete all is fine, the email process go reach out is quite annoying, for a company of this size should have phone support to help your customers, would actually free up more time for you instead of asking a questions with a question emailed back and fourth .

App was a bit confusing to use at first but customer support was excellent and they helped me not only connect to my car but also force rewrite my vin as apparently there was a replacement transfer case installed in my vehicle and the wrong vin was showing up. X delete works perfect so far and can't stress enough how responsive and willing to help they are via email.
