When casting to Chromecast from the app, rewinding is unbelievably bad. It keeps freezing and doesn't rewind. If your phone goes to sleep, when you wake it up, it starts the program at the beginning. Same happens when you have to pause it and when you resume play, it freezes and goes back to the beginning. There is no option to skip recap or skip intro. Playing any content on this app via Chromecast on the TV is painstakingly time consuming. This is the worst streaming app ever.

Lot of bugs lately. Will go to cancel recordings and it confirms it's canceled then I'll check back later & see it is recording and bumping something else out. Or I've had games that are recording that will simply stop recording part way into it. Fun to find out later... And not due to too many recordings either, not sure what's happening there. And now I'm only seeing some of my recordings on my tablet, which is how I watch most of my sports, so I'm losing 1 of my main pulls for xfinity there

the app used to be good in or out of home but lately its hit or miss. mostly miss and I can't watch anything, and its not my phone , or tablet , or laptop . my signal is perfect and phone is cranking fast, but this app just clocks and clocks, or when the channel does pop up, it freezes on a still shot and never srarts again. makes me feel like im back in 1999 watching endless buffer circles.

This app is awful. On Android it's necessary clear the cache, forcibly stop the app, turn on location, and reboot the phone, sometimes more than once any time I want to use it. The app opens, and then cannot load anything that isn't downloaded otherwise. Then, when you call them, they tell you to reinstall the app. Just awful. Embarrassingly so. I'd give it zero stars, but they don't let you do that.

Downloading content to my device rarely works. anything over 15 minutes and it fails. I can download 3 hours of content on Netflix or Max in just a few minutes. this app will download slowly and when it gets about 15% of a 2 hour movie, in about 10 minutes, it'll just fail repeatedly. it makes you wonder if any of the developers on this app ever used a competing app, and realize this is not an impossible task. this is not an extraordinary engineering feat. they just can't figure it out.

This app will have random and long periods where it doesn't work when connected to Wifi. This means the only way I can watch live TV at home is on my phone with cellular data. It's happened enough for me to leave this bad review in hopes that Xfinity fixes this issue or the rest of you are smart enough to not provide them your business until it's fixed.

Rarely able to connect without issues. Even with full internet service. In-home only channel's is a joke with the amount of money they charge. Was out of town on a trip and could not get a lot of channel's and the ones available, like I mentioned, keeps buffering. only works maybe 5% of the time. It's been this way for a while now. On my vacation I signed up for YouTube TV, no issues at all.

Very unstable. Constantly loses local channels. Sometimes it has no local channels, sometimes it shows ABC, sometimes it shows ABC and NBC. While watching one of the local channels it will suddenly report connection failure and then the local channels will be gone. I have to constantly uninstall and reinstall (or clear all data) and sign back in to get any local channels to show up. The timeout every 4 hours is annoying and can't be disabled. My wife needs the TV on to sleep.

This app has audio sync issues! the words being spoken do not match the people's lips just like watching the old Chinese movies from the 80s. I've tried on three different devices a phone, a tablet, and a Amazon Fire stick and it does the same thing the mouth is moving and the audio is not in sync which makes for a horrible viewing experience!!! and for the record the devices that I was using are all brand new and my internet is 1,000 megabytes per second download speed.

Always location issues. When i had direct TV the app would always go to the local channels of wherever I was. With this app I can only get chicago locals which won't play out of the Chicago local area. What's the point of a "to go" service that is only to go around town? Edit over a year later. app is even worse. Full 5G service and buffers more than any other streaming service I have. really wish they'd get it together

Awful, this might be the single worst streaming app that exists. It takes 5 minutes to actually watch anything. So, so, so long waiting for the app to come up, then the abysmal navigation to find a channel, then you click on it to be asked if you watch to watch it or not. No, I want to mess around for another 5 minutes while you decide if you actually want to show me the channel. Hard to imagine a worse experience.

wow, I want to use this app but I'm not going to try and use it with a robot voice describing things I don't need described. I'm not hearing impaired so I don't need a constant intro whenever I go to a new screen. I literally don't want to hear audio playback when I'm trying to browse and watch something. I'll stick to literally any other app until then

#1 The very first show I selected to try to stream wanted me to "pay extra" even though I am already paying for the Peacock service and what I selected was supposed to be included. #2 I select a different show, Deadliest Catch season 20, and start watching that. After 3 episodes it shuts down when the episode ends. I open it back up. It's in the middle of the last episode I watched and neither arrow allows me to go back to the episode list to select the one I actually want to watch.

Impossible to cast anything from my mobile device to my TV. Every other streaming service I have has no issues with casting. Starting up a TV show for casting results in a long delay. App eventually times out. This occurs with every single channel. Xfinity should pay us to use this turd app. Edit: Still the same pile of turd as of 10/1. Won't connect to my TV and always displays the same useless error code.

Just don't go with Xfinity. There's nothing this app does better than any other streaming service, and plenty of things it does worse. If you want to watch 8 seconds of show, then 8 seconds of loading, then 8 seconds of show, then 8 seconds of loading, this is perfect for you! If you don't feel like starting and stopping 126 times in 10 minutes, then just go anywhere else.

Terrible. Constantly freezes & lags. I have yet to watch a program that doesn't get an error message. "SOMETHING WENT WRONG ". Never happens with Netflix or other streaming platforms, so the problem isn't with the Internet, but with the CABLE APP. I end up frustrated, I exit Xfinity to watch other streaming apps that don't have constant interruptions. Don't bother calling for help, they don't let you talk to anyone until you text & jump through a thousand other ways to fix it yourself.

App now SUCKS.. It has gotten worse since my last review. I open the app and it closes itself multiple times before it will actually open. Then no matter what show, live TV, or recorded shows it won't play them. It just sits there with the spi Ning wheel of death. This is on 5gh wifi and 5g UC data at full strength signal. Nothing will play.. its really sad. It's part of the Comcast package and advertising. It says watch TV anywhere on the go. But, you really can't. On Samsung galaxy s21.

Clunky experience. Leaves a lot to be desired. Episode will pause and start at wrong times. Ads will play and then resume playback 15 min earlier. Then to fast forward, you have to watch ads again. Joy. When episodes are about to finish, no "skip to next episode" or any similar button pops up. Really? It's almost 2021. Every other major video streaming app has this.

This used to be my favorite app and one of the main reasons I keep Comcast. But not I can't stand it. Lately, I can never stream TV or watch my DVD recordings. Constantly getting a message saying "Well that didn't go as planned you can still watch your show on demand." Then when I ok to watch on demand that won't play either. This definitely needs to be fixed fast. Comcast cost way too much to have the same problem for weeks. Thought the update would fix it and nothings changed.

App suddenly stopped working. The app used to work just fine, I could use all of the features I wanted with minimal issue. Now, the app won't even load upon start up. I'm just left with a loading screen that will never end. I tried to sign out and sign back into my account and I can't even get past the Get Started screen. Everytime I press "Get Started" I am met with a Connection Error pop-up. My internet connection is fine, it's just this app. What a shame, I enjoyed the app while it worked.
