Xumo Play

All 27 apps on my new Google Stream box connected to LG B2 SERIES OLED 4K TV work fine playing content but not Xumo! All movies tested freeze up for 2sec then plays again for 3 sec non stop for past 3 days and is not my internet with issue but this app. Uninstall and reinstall of app appears to have resolved problem for now

UI is one of the worst for streaming apps, channel up/down doesn't switch thru your favs, utter joke.

I have a Sony X900h TV. This app integrated good into the native Sony TV app. There is an issue where when there is a cut to a commercial, the stream hangs with just the rotating circle icon on the screen. It will sit there forever until you change the channel. This happens randomly on any channel and should be fixed. Sometimes when exiting the app, the audio keeps playing. If I go back into the app, it will then start playing a double audio stream of the same channel. This starts looping and you will have multiple streams overlapping each other. I've had to force quit the app, or go into another app so the audio quits. Also there should be a way to search channels by keywords.

Broadcast is Spanish. l cannot find a setting for English.

Lots of good stuff to watch. However the controls are not good, there isn't a way to turn off auto play, even after watching a show it shows as a for you recommendation on the TV & when you start the app live channels play annoyingly...l'm very underwhelmed considering that this is a Sony Bravia hilighted app.

I have a smart TLC Google TV every time I try to open the app it just flickers and then goes back to TLC home screen. I even tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. it just doesn't work not on my TV. I see a lot of poor reviews I don't see how it could be at 3 star rating!

I like it because you don't have to pay for it and just for some short ads and you can do a lot of kids shows or adults and yeah so that's why I rated it a four-star the one starless is because it just doesn't have like the right click like Netflix or anything like that but I still like it

Using either a remote or a game controller it is impossible to select anything. Using the d-pad to navigate around works fine, but trying to select anything does not work.

Great idea but doesn't work on Nvidia Shield. Can not access any menus as all it does is flicker endlessly. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but no success. Seems to be a good competitor to Pluto TV, but Pluto TV actually works.

This app was working on my Nvidia Shield Pro until today. Now it asks to turn off "TalkBack" which is not on. The app works on PC and phone. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app on the Shield is of no help. Any suggestions?

Working perfectly fine with my Nvidia Sheild TV, Remote control also working fine, i am using same Sheild remote control, able to navigate and select easily, its working fine. no issues.

typing this on a TV remote so bare with me, Smooth channel change, Great TV channels ! This is basically free cable. So yes I am a big fan thank you! I see the effort I see the hard work because these are Awesome options!

NOV 2023 CAPTION PROB . XUMA Please consider the high number of ppl who need captions to enable them towatch. A Amongst them are the elderly, and those struggeling with language. APP is free, has great content , works on laptop, android mobile, android tv, has majority of programs captioned. SO WHY MY LOW RATING? Because my prefered option is android tv, and on that version , XUMO has forgotten to add the attribute in the program which keeps the captions 'always on top.' I can see them there while viewing the caption on off button, but dissapear when I return to watch mode. Your major competitors dont have this problem. Sadly, only one of them has content that competes. ILL CHECK BACK NOW AND AGAIN TO SEE IF YOU'VE LEARNED TO RESno space for idle apps REMOVEDPECT THE DISADVANTAGED.

I don't like the fact that the feature of integration to the channel guide has been removed. I now have to go into the app to watch movie channels. What happened to the integration to the channel guide, on your smart device feature? why has that feature either been removed, and or deleted?

this app is literally just all off brand movies. you want ghost busters? Well that's too bad, but don't worry! They have ghosters phantom control for ya. 3 stars for the effort man.

can not get channels to come in!it is stuck on repeat buffering. I cannot getI can't get any channels to come in at all

App does not work correctly on Sony TV. Constant program guide issues and issues with channels integration.

Awesome app for Live TV Channels!! I really liked the extended catalog and the performance of the streaming, I like to use Live Channels with Xumo as source.

it has a problem with the forward and rewind,you can only search every 3 minutes to advance or rewind,forget about precision search.

finally works on mibox. i had stopped checking for quite a while. the UI is a little janky but recommend the app overall.
