I love that this app has a "disable ads" switch, even though they're really aren't any ads. I find the app very clean and easy to use. Everything is well placed. A lot of people have never heard of Yandex. Keep this quality up and that will change. If I had one small gripe, it's that sometimes in emails it thinks shipping tracking numbers are phone numbers, and when I click them, it opens the phone app instead. Small gripe for an overall solid app. This is a solid email client. Light but very capable. Highly recommended.
I used to like this app, I could switch between all my accounts for work etc. With ease but somethings changed. I can no longer log into ANY account because it requires this thing where you enter the text shown in a photo, I've literally tried over and over for the past 20 minutes. I know I'm entering it correctly. And it says incorrect and keeps me going. There is no way I've gotten it wrong every single time, and I cab read the text it is not wrong. Fix that, and I'll change my rating back.
I like the email service. It'd be great, if I didn't have to fill out a recaptcha from time to time, because it reduces the efficiency of time and usage. I think it'd be improved by using a better way to know that a person actually sent a message, instead of a recaptcha, like a quick verification. Like, for example, pick a word like "Jacquard" to verify that it's a valid message. It can be set up in settings or preferences, and it'd be at the bottom of the email, click it & it'd be sent. 🤔
Much better app than Outlook, Yahoo, AOL, or others I tried. A pleasant and amazing interface and flawless functionality. Notification tells you when your message is received by sender. 'Disk' to store your attachments. Multiple email accounts from other providers can be utilized as well. Try it. Many other features as well can be be simply used.
I like Yandex email. I find it more intuitive than many of the other email services I use, or have used. The layout and design is attractive, with a good number of options. The only issue I ever had was a couple people who were unable to receive the emails sent from Yandex. But this was shortly after I created my account, and I haven't noticed it since.
Excellent email service. I cannot recommend it enough! Yandex is so underrated. However, the app works excellently, the web search engine is great, they also give you 10 free gb of online storage, you can also create alternate accounts, I mean what's not to like? Yandex also has a translator app that's like 1000 times better than google translate, Yandex also offers an internet web browser, that's super light and works beautifully. Seriously, go for it. You'll never regret it.
Yandex is simple, intuitive, and easy to use. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I depend on it completely. I have it set up to monitor three emails accounts, plus you also get a free Yandex email account, (but you don't have to use it). It's a really good app, completely straight forward, with no confusing bells and whistles to distract.
filters spam better than any other email service i have used, with the exception on Outlook with which it is probably tied. Very simple to use on my phone and I enjoy it. The only issue I have is giving my e-mail address verbally to cashier's for coupons. I have to spell it but it's good for you guys because occasionally I am asked how good it is!
It is not working properly on a galaxy phone with oneui 8. It froze up so hard during the first set up that my whole phone was frozen and unusable. After my phone reacted again , I killed the app and opened it again. It asked me to add a phone number, then when prompted to confirm my phone number with an sms code, the code never arrived after several tries and even after restarting the phone. Pity
Great app and great mail service. I've been using Yandex since at least 2004. The only minor annoyance I have is when I try to multi-select emails, instead of selecting it opens the email instead. Devs should widen the multi-selection trigger area. I've run into this problem on all my phones.
Really just very good, excellent, no complaints. Small issue, e mail doesn't show bar codes, ie when you purchase something the bar code won't appear in the email, not a big deal but would be handy rather then having to call out number when collecting your purchase!
This is my 7th review . I have used the Yandex Mail , and Secure Browser for 5 years. The security features are different than others that I normally use , much improved and excellently maintained. Recent Updates Extremely Secure. I am beginning to like Yandex more than GMail. Yandex keeps it VERY solid, Yandex really cares to keep each communication secure and safe. Yandex has fantastic mail support. Once I needed tech support , and they helped me immensely well,
At one point search stopped working for me, no matter what I input it comes up emty, when I definetly have emails from the sender. Also it loads for an awfully long time and sometimes doesn't want to update my inbox at all.
Rating: ★★★★★ (5 Stars) I've been using Yandex Mail for several months now, switching from Gmail, and I have been genuinely impressed. The interface is clean, modern, and very intuitive. It doesn't feel cluttered, which makes managing multiple inboxes a breeze. The unified inbox feature is a game-changer for anyone with more than one email account. Performance is excellent. The app is fast, syncs instantly, and is incredibly lightweight on battery and data usage—a big plus. Some standout fea
Well, Yandex Mail was my go-to email for years - and still would be - however, it will no longer open. Please help 🙏 As soon as this gets resolved, I imagine I will give it 5 stars again. Thank you I find Yandex email to be far superior to any other email service I have ever tried. You will not be sorry!
Can't send email. The app doesn't tell me why. Also, constantly begs to allow access to my contacts (there's not option to disable this)
I registered to the yandex id. I have yandex id. Then, when I try to enter with this id, it asks me my password AND SMS. I waited but I didn't receive any SMS. I tried with push notifications, but it didn't work either. Please remove this authentication, why do I need to verify my phone when I already have correct password??
i have been using yandex mail, browser, weather and translate for many years. all things yandex is reliable, safe. it informs me if there is a potential malware in certain links and thus far, my yandex is free tampering and spyware .
This app is absolutely terrible and glitchy and it keeps asking you to update asking for first name and last name which I have never provided to the yandex browser. avoid using out of all costs I reckon it is malware
very nice app, good usability. I'm sticking to this since I've tried the first time and made collecting messages from Gmail and other accounts
