My previous review was 4 star, but I downgraded it because of recent changes. It used to be so convenient to open app, log meal, close app. Now you have to filter through multiple screens to get to where you can log meals... and I'm a Premium Member! Sorry Yazio, but I pay for convenience, and this app no longer qualifies. So long, and thanks for all the fish. I'm out of here.

I've been using this app for over a month now. It's fantastic. I've lost 9lbs. The system works if you stick to it. If you're the kind of person that is motivated by visual tools and data, this is for you! A small food scale is helpful (Amazon for like $8). Foods that I had been eating previously were healthy, whole foods, but my portions were too large, and my "treats" were more calorie dense than I realized. This app raises awareness about what you're putting in your body. Highly recommend!

A couple of necessary upgrades I would recommend to keep me using this app should be making it more customizable. Having the ability to place snacks at different times if the day instead of just in one spot. Having the ability to turn off accounting for activity calories. Being able to import recipes into the recipe creator. Bring able to scan labels into the food creator. If these options are already available I apologize, but Have not noticed this. The app is good, these would make it better.

I have been using this app for about three weeks and have found it to be helpful. I like that you can include days where you are liable to eat more calories and I find the database to be smooth and easy to use. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars is because it doesn't track net carbs, only the total. I did pay for premium but I am having to go back and forth using yazio and another app that counts net carbs. If they could offer a net carb option that would be helpful.

The app is great and I enjoy using it. The past 7 weeks have been insightful with logging everything. The only thing I don't understand is how the daily diamond quests work. It says I earned a chest but it doesn't actually give me any chests to open nor do the diamonds get added to my total. A small thing for sure but irritating when it happens constantly.

good app for a good price but not perfect. I hate the fasting portion and having no way to edit history or customize my hrs and meals. example, I would like to chose a 14:10 but I don't want to skip a meal. I find I can still have 3 separate meals and would like to track it as such but the app will not allow that and requires you to skip a meal. I have been using this app for 3 months and just tried the fasting portion and immediately became disappointed. I want to track my fasting my way.

I like the app. it's ai is generally accurate and I think the price is fair. however, there's an extremely annoying aspect that I cant believe has been overlooked. when you use the ai to snap a photo say of a whole sandwich... there's not an option to say you only ate half! I've figured out you can go in and manually adjust every single macro down to half by doing your own math, but why aren't there easily accessible portion sizes with the ai?!

Initially enjoyed the polish of this, but I regret paying for Pro. It's too slow and too convoluted to track meals, which is the whole point of the app. We need a way to disable the useless (and incorrect) AI food tips after each meal logged, at least. Between that, the lag when searching for foods, and the various submenus for foods/meals/recipes, it's too much. Even saving common foods as a meal and selecting that every morning feels slower than other apps because of the tracker layout.

I have had the app for a year now and I did decide to renew. I like that it holds me accountable without being too annoying and meal ai search settings were a nice addition. Tho, Id like more for dietary needs. I like some of the meal tips except some don't apply to me. I have IBD and can't eat a lot of beans or whole grains and I'm allergic to red meat and dairy. The closest I could get my profile to reflect this is Pescatarian but a closer description would be Mediterranean or Low- FODMAPP.

Mediocre - I paid for pro to connect my Garmin watch and use the fasting option. Fasting tracking is super disappointing. The app stops the timer even when you aren't done fasting. It's also not flexible with days you don't want to track, like weekends. there doesn't seem to be a way to edit fasting entries. Adding to my review - needs a vacation mode option.

add an option to turn off the meal tips!! i loved the summary after logging, which is gone. that being said, this app helped me gain 5lb, so it can be used for weight gain as well. i used to find it fun and easy to log my meals and it has a great database of US foods! it also syncs with my Google fit data & accounts for those calories, which is awesome! paid for the yearly subscription. edit: unsatisfied with dev response, cancelled my sub, STILL got a dot & notification for pro. ridiculous.

I joined pro and will definitely use a different app when it expires. database is good, but - ai food tracking doesn't include nutrient details. useless for anything more than calorie counting - meal planning tips pop up constantly, and you can't turn them off - takes 3 clicks to move a food between meals, rather than allowing drag/drop - lands you into food adding menu on open, you must click done to see the day overview - it emails me in my locations language rather than the one I set in-app

the tips and the ai calorie estimator isn't terrible but for an app that is 10 years old, the food database is rough. Large number of items listed in oz/grams is fine for portions like vegetables. Entering food from restaurant and listed options as oz/grams. Selecting sandwiches from a list and none having serving of 1 sandwich is a little frustrating.

It's a great platform but I'm not liking the animation and tips. I just need it to do what it envisaged EDIT I understand your response is to motivate but I'm not a kid and don't need the animation. it's a food tracker app... focus on that. Focus on foundation instead of dressing... like how your app has limited food options, gross recipes etc. And I am paying for this app btw.

I'm on a 536 day streak and within the top 1% of users. I lost 30 kg with this app. And I would love some more customisation options instead of new colours and an (admittedly cute) mascot. People have been asking for adding extra meals to a day for ages and as someone who likes to eat everything in moderation, I hate that the "food warnings" aren't optional. I don't care if my food is "processed" that doesn't instantly mean it's bad for you, so stop with the shaming please.

Good, but few things need improvement. I wish there was a "free range" fasting option, because I dont always fast at the same times or same days, so being able to start and stop the fast without being in one of the presets would be an amazing improvement. otherwise, I wish I could put a picture of my meal next to each entry, and view the diary as a calendar. otherwise its a pretty good app.

It's a good app, the only one I've seen that lets you select your country to give you food options from the stores here. But meal planning is impossible. The moment you exit out of one of the menus, it pelts you with stats, ads, premium subscription sales and "You've earned a streak freeze". It takes 6 taps to exit one menu. It's become so annoying, it's better to just close the app and reopen it.

I used this app for years and loved it. But i recently had to uninstall it because of a crazy surge in ads that made it unusable. Also, the recent pop ups that make it impossible to quickly and smoothly use the app. And for some reason, now if you miss one or two days it makes you go through a lengthy "welcome back" process that is actually just a convoluted membership ad. Im very disappointed, wont be coming back.

When you search food it doesn't have as many options as I would like, such as restaurants. It might have one calorie count for something and the one below it is completely different. It's hard to know what's right or wrong. You can add them in but I don't want to do that every time so I feel like I am guessing. I wish it would have things set as peice or amount. It reminds you frequently to log info and encourages you which I like, and has a lot of meal options. The meal calorie count is nice.

I thought it might be good, based on reviews saying the interface is better than myfitnesspal, and I liked the cheaper subscription cost. However, the food database is disappointing. I have lost count of how many items I have had to create before I could log them. Most foods have to be added by ounce or gram, so if you make a recipe that calls for one can or box of something, you have to know how many oz that item is. They should have a per can/package option. Try Nutritionix.
