I've been using the free version of the app for months and loved it. I got my husband and daughter into it as well. I thought I had a happy accident when I realized my app had been upgraded, but it wasn't. The AI workouts were not better and didn't include many new poses beyond simple stretches. Also, loss the ability to view and modify my workouts, as in the free version. Tried getting a refund a couple days later and was denied. The benefits do not justify the cost. What was the trail period?
I still love this app! I've been using it for 2 years. Detailed descriptions, a break between each exercise that you can modify (10,20 or 30 second rest) so you can get to the next pose before the timer for the exercise starts. I like the variety, and how it has many workouts for whichever area you want to focus on (abs, legs, etc.) Pilates has been added, and I'm able to have my music playlist on at the same time with my bluetooth headphones. Pausing is simple, too.
This app is amazing!! I would recommend for beginners who want to start yoga. I can do the beginner exercises without issue, which is what a beginner is meant for. I enjoy that you can change rest time, skip exercises, and pause if you need them. The captions during exercises help a beginner to understand about form, which is very important. Keep up the good work
I'm not an expert in yoga and this app is great for beginners as videos are included. The more days you progress through the more the intensity of the moves increase. I love that the workouts are 10 minutes or less and I can also set a reminder. The app is easy to use, allows you to input your weight, height, etc and see how many calories are burned after each work out. I like that the ads are at the beginning and end of each session-- they are only around 5 seconds each. Great app!
Great for beginners. Tracks everything &sets reminders. You get A LOT of plans for the price. If you're unsure of how to do a pose they show a video of how to do it. Here's what I don't like: BMI: I'm 5'3 182lbs, far for unhealthy and the app puts me at morbidly obese. BMI part should be taken out altogether, or at least improved for today's standards. *UPDATE I downloaded the split app (more workouts) and it would be cool if developers found a way to combine the apps
I used this app for a month or so, stopped for a long while, came back, and now I am trying a subscription. The workouts can be a little repetative, though I do become familar that way, and I suspect the exercises get a bit harder when they repeat. I really like that I can put a music app on in the background and listen to what I want during the session, and that I can focus on simply following instructions and listening to my body's signals.
Exactly what I was looking for! Wanted to start doing yoga to improve flexibility but didn't know where to start. Stumbled on this after I installed an app that wanted me to pay for the routines...no thanks! Not too hard but no too easy either. Just the right amount of time spent in the poses and rest between I really like the explanations that are given abput what area of your body each pose is helping. No too many bells and whistles just the basics. Love!;!
Best workout app I have tried. Somehow keeps me motivated to keep coming back for another workout. The music and even the robotic voice are nice to listen to. No real people to follow along with, just animations. I have completed the beginner workout plan and notice a difference in my mood, flexibility, and energy levels. Sleeping better too. Ads are well-placed and non intrusive, and appropriate. Slow progression to more difficult moves has kept me in the game. Easy, intuitive interface.
I'm enjoying the app so far. Ads aren't super loud or disruptive, and they ease you into the harder workouts with time to adjust. My only issue is that it doesn't have a option to sync with my Samsung Health program. Its not a deal breaker, just means I have to manually input the data and it isn't always accurate. Still, a great all around workout app!
I really really like this up. It can be used for free. It has a lot of programs. I would like more comments on what body parts are benefitted by each pose, more instructions too. I like the English names of the poses, but I would additionally want to know the original names. The problem with the app is that the exercises are too hard. I have done the beginners program twice, and I still find some of the workouts hard. The intermediate is impossible. Perhaps more levels are needed.
I rarely give five stars, but for me, this app qualifies. It's an absolutely Great way to get moving, especially for a chronic procrastinator like me! I especially appreciate remaining in each pose for a period of time, which I find more helpful than rapidly flowing from one to the next. I've only used the "Intermediate" setting for my exercises, but can say the variety and the intensity have been just right. I also appreciate the option to choose which days to yoga or rest or not. Great work!
It's an amazing app for yoga and training although I wish it didn't have the option to "watch a one time video" because that button doesn't seem to work. Edit: Yes, I can't download exercises after pressing the button. Basically, what happens is that either before or after the video is played, my screen freezes and I have to turn off my phone to get out. That unfortunately means I can't take a screenshot.
Fantastic app! I do not typically give reviews, but this app deserves it. I have never had success with trying to do yoga before, but with this app I have worked my way through a full month of beginner yoga and am almost through a month of intermediate. In addition to the monthly programs (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) there are also numerous other short programs for specific body parts and programs for stretching. I can't stress enough how fantastic this is. ❤️
Amazing. I love this app. I was doing a lot of weight training and needed to work some of the muscles that I wasn't hitting. I got an injury from weightlifting, and yoga has been helping so much. With all of the different exercises that are already in programs and guided it was the easiest thing to switch into no problems. Great job guys
I really enjoy this app and has helped me keep a routine more the previous attempts. It sends notifications to remind me to work out. I'd give it 5 Stars if the order of the exercise was easier to change because the exercise doesn't go from one side to the other leaving your stretch feeling un-balanced. You can change the order but you have to add and delete so many different things. Over all though I enjoy this app. It could use more exercise plans and incorporate more variety of stretches.
I have used this app for several months. I quickly upgraded to the paid version because I was enjoying the free version - which I didn't notice limitations with. The paid version doesn't unlock per say but expands and allows increased customization. There's animation, written, verbal, and video instructions for all learning styles. Set it to go at a pace comfortable for you and give thumbs up/down to help guide the customization.
Im a true beginner. I Love the short session so I'm able to stick with it. keeping track of how the sessions add up over time is brilliant, it shows progress when you might not otherwise relies it. For a beginner its perfect, and as it advances it becomes more challenging so It's great you can redo any of the 30 days programs. I also like the water reminder I'm drinking more than ever.
I tried to cancel after a few days and was charged for a full year that I didn't agree to. Play Store won't give me a refund. Idk if I missed something in the fine print, but it looked like it charged monthly not annually. I wouldn't rate so harshly if I had been charged the month I agreed to, even thought I cancelled in less than a week and it came up under free apps. Don't get this app if you aren't planning on using it long term. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this seemed necessary😒
As a beginner, it shows the moves and gives you suggestions as you are doing it. I like the variety, how you do not need any equipment and that the workouts are manageable for time. You can add more if have time or only do the daily challenge. Plus it tracks your weight, water consumption and workout history. I am so glad I found this app!
Great app for what it says on the tin, it succeeds. But, the latest update had no comments from the developer and after opening, I see the glaring update...increase in ads and now an offer for premium. You get 2 choices: $0.99/Week Monthly or $0.59/Week Yearly with a 7-day trial, then $29.99/year. No where does it say if Premium also means "ad-free". The ads before weren't intrusive, but now there are banners all over, and pop-ups with every press.
