There isn't a whole lot of content available on the app. I don't know if that's an ongoing process or if this is simply what it's supposed to be. I would really like to see some classes which help build up to more complicated yoga poses (like headstand and such). I'm also not a fan of the weekly payments. I wish I could choose other pay options, or even to pause my subscription without deleting the whole app (like if I get a busy week and can't use it). Otherwise, this is a really great little app for those who prefer or are limited to practice at home!
This was good while it was free but isn't worth paying $70 for. There's not enough to it in order to justify the price. I would price it closer to $45, if you see this review and they have lowered the price then I could recommend it. Or if they switch to an ad based free service then it's 100% worth sitting through an ad or two before a yoga class. Edit; not sure if they reverted back to free or if it's a user error. But I'm really happy with this app again.
I have enjoyed this app. I like the studio classes and how they are set up. I've been using it for 4 or 5 years now. I love the customization option but it has never worked for me. It always kicks me out. I was finally able to save one, but when you click on the chain icon to link poses, the app stops working. It's a great yoga app for beginners! Just wish the customization worked.
Was free but now you have to pay for classes. I installed the app when main core of classes was free and they've honored that through a couple of reinstalls and a new phone. Classes are excellent. Started as as a beginner, just took a couple of classes at a local library. Was able to follow no problem. Now able to do a bit of intermediate work. Meditations are also wonderful so calming and stress relieving. I definitely recommend this app!!
used to be such an incredible app. I used it every day when I traveled. Now its absolutely horrible, they change things constantly, no consistency, hard to use, hard to navigate, strange unrelated classes and they push the year long subscription without notifying you so your ropped in for a year if you want to be or not. I can never even find a class I like.
The intermediate flows are well formulated although sometimes they are a bit fast. The speed of the flows allows for more asanas in shorter practices of 15 - 20 minutes but it good to pause the videos or rewind when you want to stay in poses for longer duration. I've been having difficulty fast forwarding and rewinding video and if I stop a video I cannot pick up where I left off. Also, when I have downloaded classes to my studio, I cannot access the home screen without deleting all classes.
This is an amazing app - fully customizable classes for any skill level or time constraint! I paid for it about 6 years ago and it's been the best money I've ever spent on any app. Their class options for different areas of focus (strength, flexibility, relaxation, etc.) are a great way to alternate your workout and target your particular needs! I have only used the "studio essentials" classes and they alone make this app worthwhile!
I think the editor's choice tag should be removed now that this app has removed all free content. The yoga pose guide doesn't count. Neither does the free trial that will charge if I forget to cancel. If they got me hooked with a few free classes I would certainly pay, but I'm not playing this game. Too bad. The app was previously highly recommended.
Has programs avail for different levels as well as an option to create a program. Limited selection of positions for creating, could be increased, but you can manage the length of the moves. I enjoy the music very relaxing and nice voice calling out position names for hands free. I didnt find any details on each position to help figure them out. Overall I enjoy this app.
Its a great app until it isn't. While I do love the app and it's better than some* others out there it still has a lot to improve on. For a paid app I'd expect a little better. I can't cast to any TV in my home and the timing of the sequences are off. It says 16 minutes long but it's actually 23 minutes long. Not sure how that's supposed to work. But I would greatly appreciate a fix so we can enjoy the apps full potentional!
I was surprised with the new update. I mostly do yoga in the winter and was very shocked, but I did restore my old purchase and can go through the videos I used to do. Once I get through them I might buy a subscription to try some of the new packs but I'd rather pay a small permanent acceess fee than a subscription to be honest. I would have to remember to cancel/renew around summer since I usually bike and swim more then.
LOVED IT until it the custom pose choice option went wonky. When that glitch is fixed, I would gladly give it a "5." Truly. It does not like combining individual poses with the blocks. At some unknown point, it gives you an "unable to compile video" error. You can "restore" in the app settings, but then you lose ALL your custom sessions. Even the ones that work. I'm persistent, so I will add each pose one by one by one by one by one by one... until I have a truly customized choice of routines.
Ice used this app for years, and I used to think it was a five star app. However, when it switched to the subscription version, it also came with some annoying bugs that have never been fixed. For example, the vinyasa block 2 has a big glitch in it, and in other blocks (and on self created classes) some poses are not announced. Lately, the music is missing for some classes. I've also had problems compiling a few self created classes. I cancelled my subscription. Not worth the money anymore.
Unlike many other app makers, this app maker does not allow keeping your old subscription when switching from Android to iPhone, you have to pay for the same service twice. I double paid the annual subscription for this reason when I switched to iPhone. There are no means of getting a refund. The only reason I got the annual subscription for Android was because I assumed I can of course use it on my iPhone too, like I have done with so many other apps in the past. But now with this app. Customer service does not read your messages but just replies with boilerplate responses. And if you respond to their boilerplate responses, they won't respond back. Instead you have to start a new thread every time and explain your issue again.
I initially gave a 5 star review because the program is awesome. However, it is all charged now thru a monthly or yearly subscription. There is always You Tube, which I pay for Premium $17.99 a month and for 6 people to use the same Premium account....and I can download many things, like videos and music, into my You Tube account. There are many good apps to get yoga from. I do love yoga, but I suggest you change (lower the fees) to make it more accesible for just one app.
They wont allow you to sync with other device, u have to pay. I subscribed a few years ago and had some issue with having to pay more, now, my android failed and when i got my warranty phone all set up; they want me to pay to start up again with new subscription! *#&%! They dont care much about the fundamental principles of yoga obviously. People dont have limitless funds these days! Really upset.
I used to love this app. Today it had so many technical issues. IF I could get the session downloaded, the class would go through the first pose and stop. I deleted the app, redownloaded it, and redownloaded the class multiple times and it has the same issue. It also kept trying to have me sign up again and would keep prompting even after I restored the purchase. I wish I could get my money back.
I bought the app years ago when it was 5 bucks. I still have access to the basic stuff I paid for (which is all I want anyway) but I just got a big screen about a "special offer" when I tried to restore my purchase upon opening the app. It gave the impression that to restore what I already paid for, I had to do a free trial of the subscription. I eventually managed to access my content but it was a hassle and I wonder how many fell for the "free trial" nonsense upon trying to restore. Not cool.
I have been using this app for years, and have enjoyed and recommended it. However, I am currently unable to log in to my account. Password recovery system claims my email address can't be found, but I have the Google Play receipt from my payment in this inbox. Posting here in hopes of getting the attention of customer support, as I can't seem to find any other way to contact.
Unable to restore purchase. The restore button doesn't work, it just keeps promoting to sign up for a "free" trial and insists you add a payment method. I have already purchased this and just want to restore my purchase. Please fix this
