This app is profiting off of fine print advertising. You have to go through a 10-step process before finally getting a price because it's advertised as 'free' everywhere - but nothing is free in 2023. Finally, I get to the price consult page, and I see they have big bold print stating "$20 a month (billed annually) or $25 a month (billed quarterly)" You're either paying $240 or $75. I am upset at the deception being used, and I am glad I read the reviews before I put in my card information.

Nothing on here is free unlike what is advertised. It cost at least $20 a month. They are not 100% transparent about this at all whatsoever. The only time you are showed that a payment is needed is once you go through the process of setting up an account and then they make you download the app and then once you try to schedule an appointment, they show you that this isn't free as advertising. This smells like a business complaint that I need to make. Do better. Stop lying to vulnerable people.

I paid $60 (they make you pay for three months) and three days later still haven't gotten my prescription. After contacting customer service several times, my prescription was finally sent to my pharmacy...but the doctor did not provide the correct information so I still can't pick it up. Now I'm out $60 for a service that I'll never use again and they refuse to give even partial refunds. They also make it hard to cancel your membership- the "cancel subscription" button in the app doesn't work.

So much for free. Only options given were $29.99/month for unlimited access or $29.99 for 24 hour access to female doctors. Makes no sense whatsoever. Completely false advertising, and why would you have the same price for 24 hours as you would for a whole month? Whole thing made no sense, didn't even complete registration and deleted less than 10 minutes after installing.

Quick and easy, I didn't read it clearly and didn't realize it's $20 per month and they charge for a quarter, so you are billed $60. Keep that in mind, but other than that it's good. Update, don't do this service for an actual issue. They don't send prescriptions for 6 hours and I still had to contact them back because they didn't do it within 6 hours either. Plus their support chat ends chat on you so you have to work with a physician assistant again to get real support.

Terrible app, the subscription fee is not transparent. I chose the 20$ per month and total amount of 240$ dollars were deducted. Then I talked to one of the customer representatives and I got refund of 120$. However, I was unable to use the services for next 6 months. which is completely unfair and a clear betrayal. I could have chose much cheaper options. I mean isn't it too much to pay for the subscription of 6 months and you can use the service for just 1 time in a month.

Minimum charge of $105 ($35 "per month" but charged quarterly). There are more affordable options and they know it; they're just counting on customers being too sick to carefully read the fine print. There's no checkout where you have a chance to confirm the amount you're paying, even the invoice hides what they charged in an attachment. Really gross approach to business. Don't forget to cancel (and cancel for any elderly parents) or you'll be paying out every three months, used or not.

After entering your credit card information there is no confirmation screen. You are charged immediately. Giving no chance to review what you're paying for. Support will not allow a refund. This is a very scammy app. Given the amount of reviews going back more than a year, (I wish I read before signing up for $20 /month), complaining about how it ISN'T clear you're paying for a full year... you'd think they'd try to make it clearer... yet they haven't. Is this choice by design? Probably...

They have deceitful charging practices. It says that it's $20 a month to talk to a general practitioner, so when I entered my credit card, they charged me $60!!! Apparently they charge you for THREE MONTHS and don't tell you until you see the charge on your credit card. I do not want 3 months. I just wanted one month. And NO, they LIE when they say it tells you that the subscription is for 3 months. There is NOTHING that tells you that it's a 3 month subscription until AFTER they charge you.

BUYERS BEWARE - The service fee is not transparent. I was given 2 options. One being $20 a month for a year and another was four payments of $75 per year. I read the cancelation policy, and it stated that I could cancel anytime. I went for the $20 per month as I thought I could be charged a small fee and cancel as I would not require this again. I contacted the office 2 hours after my appointment, and they just stated that they could reimburse me $120. I didn't even get a prescription. Terrible!

The website is misleading. It says $20/month for a yearly subscription..but they charge you outright for the entire year, $240. When I contacted them to reverse this, they offered me $120 refund and made me consent to several things (leaving a review was not one of them) Also it says that you can cancel your subscription at anytime and still use your account for the time paid, this is a flat out lie. They gave me the partial refund and revoked all access to the site.

Terrible app. First off, dark grey text over a black background makes it impossible to use. And second, when waiting for a doctor, it has a timer countdown and when the timer gets close to zero it just starts over again, I ended up waiting for a long time until I finally gave up. When I tried it again later I was able to talk to a doctor, but when the doctor phoned me to confirm my identity I couldn't get back into the chat we had going, instead it started the countdown timer again!! So annoying

This app is ABSOLUTELY and completely a waste of money. I paid $70 for a subscription for 3 months, you can't get anything you need unless it's a medication refill. Most of the time they say you need an in person consultation-- I'm failing to understand why I would have bought a subscription if I could do so? It's honestly better to go on Maple, pay $79 for one consultation but usually getting what you need. In conclusion, it's worthless... don't waste your $70.

My visit was just an in-app text chat, but it went smoothly and I have no complaints about the doc. The app could use a bit of work though - quite glitchy, things don't open/load reliably, plus there aren't any obvious instructions on how to use the app. Also - it says the consults are "free" but when I signed up to see a doctor, my only option was to pay $20/month, so be aware!!

Edit: Three months down the line nobody still bothers to reactivate my account even after writing an email to a support. Shows you what kind of an app and people behind it. I only used twice when i got banned for 'spamming' to my utmost shock.. Two weeks now since i wrote a support email and no feedback. Something fishy about this app.

I had a terrible experience with your Doctor Online app. They advertise the service as $20/month,but the moment I signed up, they charged my account $240 without any clear warning. They hide the phrase“billed annually”in a completely unrelated sentence at the bottom of the plan details: “accessible anywhere and billed annually.”This wording is deceptive and intentionally confusing. If this happened to you, dispute the payment with your bank immediately. Do NOT accept their offer for a 50% refund

Beware - The app says $20 monthly fees but they'll charge for the whole year upfront. Getting a refund is impossible. I raised a dispute on my credit card and then they sheepishly came back offering $120. Credit card company was able to look through their fraud and reversed the transaction. And worst of all it's not like you get the prescription right away. Stay away

Very misleading app. I thought it will be 20$/month and selected the option and it was not mentioned anywhere that we will be charged for year right now. Even when I selected my payment option it didn't even show me the amount how much will be deducted. It directly took 240$ from my card without even asking for authorization. I consulted the support team and they said they can only offer 120$ refund as it's baseline charge which is pointless

Be very careful when subscribing to this service. The app is designed to make you think you're signing up for $20/month when in actual fact they'll charge you for a full year. I was not shown any explanation only an option for $20/ month or $35 quarterly. No mention of an annual subscription. They did refund be $120 but kept $120 when I didn't even use the service. Be mindful when signing up.

Had to pay $60 not just the $20 as advertised. Which whatever fine... to be told they can't prescribe anything with out an in person visit. ..also fine.. but it won't let me cancel my damn subscription ... I'm out $60 for absolutely nothing. Which is a piss off in its own but everytime you try and hit cancel subscription it tells you it's unavailable. Guess I'll have to dispute the charges with my CC company. 10/10 do not reccomend this app.
