YouTube Music

It's very good and works with your pre-existing yt subscription. The things I don't like are that the playlists have a hard-limit of 5000 and that o desktop, the website can be very finicky and laggy. The things I do like are there is almost no delay when switching between songs, on both mobile and desktop. The library draws from youtube, so nearly every song is on here, including niche videogame soundtracks.

I've been using this app for a couple of years now, and i can't say that I have many complaints. however, i accidentally turned "Voting on" on my Playlist, and now my 670 songs are completely rearranged and longer how they used to be. songs i literally NEVER listen to are at the very top of Playlist, and songs i listen to every day are at the bottom. there is no way i can undo it or fix it, besides having to fix every single individual song back in its original order. it's just very stressful.

Hands down, one of the best music streaming apps out there. YouTube Music separates itself from other music streaming apps by including YouTube music videos, lyric videos, and live performances uploaded to YouTube. The only thing I would love to see implemented is an easier way to add songs to the queue or "Play Next." I'd love to be able to swipe left or right on a song to add it to the queue or play it directly after, and have it NOT be changed when I hit shuffle.

Huge library for building play lists. Almost every song I could think of was available to me. Two minor gripes: 1. Tapping a notification for new music doesn't always get me to the relevant screen, and instead just opens the app to wherever I had it last. 2. I would like an "undo" feature if I am in the middle of a playlist and I accidentally queue up a different song while browsing the app. That way I can just go back to what I was playing without having songs I recently heard.

I LOVE THIS APP! Let me start there I'm just upset cause there's still music I can only find on YouTube but not on YouTube Music as well- I wish there was a way to suggest music to move to YT music- Cause having to go back to YouTube for only a few songs is upsetting- In addition, the shuffle function isn't shuffling properly for the replay list!!! It's misplacing one song then doing the rest in order and that's also frustrating! Please fix this!! Otherwise still loving the app!

For the last month (maybe longer), I've noticed my volume levels are significantly lower than they used to be. At first I thought it was just me, but this is consistent across my phone speakers, Pixel Buds, and car Bluetooth. Today, I discovered that clicking between songs rapidly results in the same track being played at different volume levels at random. Seriously? I don't know what kind of processing Google added, but there NEEDS to be an option to disable all of it. This is ridiculous.

I use this app every day! I don't think I could do without it! I always need to have music going. I literally can't be still, I have ADHD! Being still can be weirdly painful. Having music going, I can always be dancing and wiggling about. 😁 Of all the other music apps, this one works best for me! Also, it keeps track of my likes and rarely recommends music that doesn't suit my tastes. I have premium, so there's no adds. Plus, I can lock my phone and still listen to my music!

Recently, I started paying for Premium, because the idea of having my music with my screen off was too appealing. It used to be that I could go my whole work day across several apps with only one press of the play, unless i accidentally closed the app. Now, YT will stop itself not even halfway through the first song. It is a constant battle to hear the song stop, close my current app, open YTM, restart the song, go back to work, listen to maybe 2 songs and start all over. Terrible. Pirate.

I've had the app about a year now, and I am a YouTube premium member. My favorite things are that (if available), you can see the lyrics or view the video. If you know where to click, you can view info about the album and all the artists' most popular songs (if available.) I don't like if an artist doesn't have an album cover they don't show listed in my Playlists? They deserve to be visibly listed somehow? My music turns off after awhile...? I hate that.

It's an amazing app to use for music and helps download music, but I couldn't find the songs I was looking for. But it does have song recognition, and you're can pick your own songs. Although it doesn't recognize some songs and I hope they fix the app soon, but other than that, I recommend it. Way better than Spotify, Pandora, and other music apps

The free version is actually horrendous. Ads after every song/play of a song, if you get an ad, skip it and then select another song, it gives you another ad, most ads have a drop-down box with a link to their website that prevents you from swiping the 'currently listening' box down to pick a different song, said drop-down box doesn't close automatically if the ad ends or is skipped. The literal only good thing about the free version is that you can listen to music, everything else is terrible

I've been using YT Music for so long, love the ad-free music, the varieties, and the unlimited playlists you can make and how communitive it can be with AI and other playlists by others. But I've caught this one bug where the suggestion songs aren't playing it's music, instead, all the suggested songs play the first song listed on the playlist. I've tried restarting my phone, closing out of the app and pulling it back up, and refreshing yet nothing has helped.

I really enjoy YouTube music, and it's actually a great app for listening to music! I'm not sure if most music app does this, but I especially enjoy my recaps that I get every three months. I'd say the app accurately tracks my listening time. I don't know if it's my headphones, but sometimes my music glitches, and there are often changes to the like button size etc that go back and forth, but I generally don't mind it. I definitely recommend this app to anyone wanting to listen to music!

This is the only app I'll use simply because I can actually build a library saving specific songs/albums and not just artists. And listen to exactly what I want when I want to, unlike Pandora or Spotify. I've been using this since it was originally Google Play Music. I wish they would make it so you can jump ahead on your artists list instead of endlessly scrolling. As well as organizing your music by genre and not just artists, songs, and Playlists.

It WAS great, until almost every song in "autoplay" or shuffle starting playing the clean version of songs. I'm am a 33-year-old grown man. I do not want to hear pauses every few seconds. This is extremely annoying and I saw I'm not the only one. PLEASE fix this ASAP before I cancel my subscription. $15/mo is already too expensive for a music app, especially since I already pay for YouTube Premium and YouTube TV. Very disappointed! Update: talked to a live agent today... trash!!!

become increasingly glitchier. messing up my saved playlists, when I add them to my queue, all kinds of stuff. it's exhausting and makes it hard when I just want to have a single queue added to for a while. then I find it all gone or it starts playing from a mix when I open the app. exhausting. has always had difficulties, but getting worse. others might be able to tolerate this, but I can't. genuinely might just have to suck it up and find a new app. other than that, it's perfectly fine.

Terrible user interface. Sometimes when you search for what you downloaded it's found under Library and not in Downloads. Or not found at all, even though you just downloaded it. Same goes with Playlists. And there should be a separation between YouTube proper and YouTube Music. I don't think it makes sense to have videos pop up in a MUSIC app. Just sayin'.

Wonderful selection of music, just a lot of everything and easy to set up and use. I have few issues with the suggested music as almost always it is tailored to my tastes. Only on rare occasions do I get a weird suggestion, but I can listen however I want and skip what I don't. Then the updates change the Playlist to what I like and it is back to auditory bliss.

Honestly, as a whole, the app has been a great experience. the music collection is pretty much unmatched. only issue i have, (and I know it means very little to the powers that be) i missed the Google Play Music store or rather the ability to purchase singular songs and not have to buy a subscription. all in all though, it's a great app and honestly. I might be in the minority, but I prefer it over Spotify.

I paid for premium. I just wanna listen to all my downloaded songs in shuffled order. But everytime I stop listening and exit the app, it all resets and I have to start a new shuffle playlist all over again. I have too many songs to listen in just one go. Lately, it's even been trapping me in an endless loop of just one song, showing it as the only song in the playlist. This is unacceptable for a paid service. If this doesn't change, I'm ending my premium subscription.
