cannot order products, which is ironic considering this is a shopping app. The app works well with choosing the products and checking out. It gets stuck at 'pay and place order', doesn't matter which payment method, doesn't matter which time of day, the app keeps saying that 'something went wrong, try again later'. IT- please look into this problem on Zalando.de
I have been a customer for years, consistently using the Plus account and always paying on time. However, it's ridiculous that I can no longer choose my payment method myself, and that I can't pick up my order at the post office, which is really annoying. The app itself has also undergone bad changes, for example, we can no longer filter by brands, and the color filter doesn't work either. I'm going to cancel my premium account and not recommend this app at all.
terrible experience after being using Zalando in many countries , but the Spanish version of the app only available in Spanish , no english , no other options , which go through everything in the app , even the settings . secondly which is also terrible that they send the order only with CCT and they are terrible , especially in Valencia. the order never arrive. and in the system they don't send you another order till that order is back which is almost a month after.
after spamming me with several emails per day, I decided to look over my settings. Apparently, Zalando needs non-essential cookies to be allowed to enter the notification settings. Weird and unnecessary. There is no section for emails either, unless this is locked behind the notification section. Uninstalling the app is the best solution here. Plenty of other shops to buy stuff from.
This is a very mediocre search engine. I cant search begs by size or brand, they dont have subdivisions for the clothes (for example, if I want a cropped I have to go through the whole blouse section, can you imagine???), even when you type exactly what you want the search simply will return a lot of clothes that have nothing from what youre searching. Get better !
One feature after another have stopped working in the app after updating it. First, I couldn't see past orders, then I stopped being able to complete a purchase, and finally now the favourites section has stopped working too. The past few years I've been shopping on zalando a lot, mainly thru the app but now that it stopped working I imagine I'll shop way less since I'd need to open the page from my desktop computer.
i made an order after a week it marked as returned, i contacted the customer support they said it was due to an issue with the courier please order again. i did so and after another week it got canceled again and now they again repeat the same answer order for the 3rd time !!!!!! my delivery address is a drop point in the middle of brussels. what difficulty courier can possibly have????? support doesn't give an answer why its canceled and just say order again !!!!! IS IT A PRANK SHOW ?????
One of the most stupid apps in the world. You search a brand name for your kid's clothes. Instead of showing you the result it shows "Discover the brand" with a ton of wrong options, pictures and categories. SHOW ME THE RESULTS!!!
Had no issues with this app until I had to update my credit card. The app still has my old card details, and there is no way you can update them. Anytime I check out and choose my old card to update it, the app brings me to a page where only PayPal is accepted. Multiple interactions with customer support failed to resolve this issue. Update: attempted to delete my account only to be told I can't because I have a delivery on the way. Last order placed was early October 2025 and is long delivered
tricky to use cupon code, why should customer get card details, later a coupon code once the tranfer almost done? I get in trouble last night by this process. Truely annoying to send message to customer support and order again products if still available.. why should customer provide card details once they need to make money transfer later? Pointless sequence. Said by senior quality leader/developer engineer.
After a very unpleasant experience, my recommendation is to avoid this online store. I have been waiting for a refund for a month and a half (apart from me, hundreds of users in Croatia are currently experiencing the same issue). I've sent them a dozen emails and called them several times. Customer service sends generic answers without any concrete solutions. For such a large online store, I find this behavior extremly shameful, unprofessional and unacceptable.
Please remove the virtual assistant button from the left side of the screen for the love of god! It is poorly placed and annoying. Another very important thing: Zalando has stopped looking like an online shop, but more like a mix of Pinterest, Instagram and etc. I am simply unable to understand sometimes, where to click to search for clothes etc. Don't you find this weird? When something stops being what is was made to be - it becomes useless. Listen to your users. I am a customer since 2011
After tens of emails to customer service, my recent issues with Zalando were solved. I'm giving it another go at the moment but it will take time to build back trust and use it as much as I have previously. Hope improvements are consistent.
review 2020: Where is the dark mode? Seriously? A shopping app without a dark mode? It's like you don't want me to look at your app in the morning/evening review 2026: still no dark mode. horrible choice. I've used it twice now in all this time and both times because im sick and can't go to the store because I'd rather walk there than use this flashbang white blinding app
Bought a gift coupon for a friend and set it to be sent on birthday day. It wasn't sent, it didn't appear on my account either. It just got lost! Customer service useless. They just couldn't help whatsoever. It took two weeks to get it resolved and just because I was persistent to check on them every 3 days. Birthday suprise ruined, waste of my time for calling and texting and no apology. I asked for any compensation and their normal response was to go far away. Never ever again!!!
Be careful when using the pay later feature, it has a severe bug! I paid by credit card and the payment didn't immediately seem to go through, so the app was saying I still needed to pay. I ended up paying twice, Zalando service even claimed I had not paid at all (but the money was eventually refunded). Sadly, Zalando offers no way to give feedback or get human customer support from within the app.
Impossible refunds, no real support They have my returned items, but my refund is missing for weeks. Customer service gives endless excuses and delays. When you ask for a manager to resolve it, they are "never available" and no one calls you back. It feels like a scam to keep both the items and the money. Avoid the hassle.
Great choice and good deals, but would be nice to have an option to exclude a few brands I know I'm not interested in. There are a handful that make up like half of the search results, so I just give up halfway.
It doesn't remind you payment and will charge you around 6 Euro for been late. Site itself become so expensive so even their so called "Sales" don't help much.
I'm an expat in Hungary and delivery here means that the app only can be viewed in Hungarian which doesn't make any logical sense for people from abroad - especially when language can be changed for the app in other countries. Please enable English version app for Hungary. The sooner the better. You're dismissing a lot of customers by not giving the English option.________Added after reply from Zalando: Their reply is messed up and clearly no human has seen my app complaint. 🤦♀️
