Joined the email list for 10% off never got it. Signed up for the account on the app and got the 2FA instantly. Contacted customer support, never heard back after the automatic response. What a rip off of a company. Definitely looking forward to their generic 'concerned about your experience, fill out another web form'. Fix your systems or don't offer them!
The app kinda sucks. Adding to the bag is difficult and sometimes doesn't even work. Also finding the bag button while you're still searching is impossible? Sometimes it just doesn't exist. I'm the type to add a lot to my cart then sort through the options there so searching for the bag then finding out stuff didn't even add does not make me want to keep shopping. Also, I miss the videos and a lot of the shoes are missing photos from the top view which makes them hard to visualize. Not a fan.
Love Zappos! I'm always on the go, so having Zappos app make life easier. Great app, and super easy to navigate! UPDATE: I had given Zappos app five stars.. I have no idea what they've done to it, but I have nothing but problems with it now. I can't get things to add to the cart, I can't get checked out, it's just not what it used to be. I only give it two stars because it is still easy to navigate. But it doesn't help if I have to spend 2 hours trying to "add to cart".
Extremely disappointed in this app for several reasons. I downloaded the app since a Zappos web ad advertised "free one day shipping" by downloading the app - I was not offered this on checkout, not even one business day shipping. At checkout it said I could sign in with Amazon - but I still had to sign into zappos anyway to "link" my account. The Zappos password field is extremely difficult to use with a password manager (paste doesn't work). I had to sign in one more time after an error occurred. Finally, at checkout I was presented with just a black screen. After closing the app and signing in yet again, the free one-day shipping wasn't offered as an option. I couldn't find any exclusions for the free shipping offer on the Zappos website. There was just so much friction with this app. And I also believe in my opinion that the advertising of their shipping policy is either erroneous or dishonest. I've been a casual but long-time zappos customer and don't plan to use this app again.
I personally wouldn't recommend ordering from Zappos. Placed an order for two items 5 days ago, and although one of the items has shipped, it's been delayed twice already, and the other item is still "processing". Can't get a straight answer from any customer service rep. They just want to tell jokes in a chat, which is kind of annoying because I just want my order. UPDATE: Just got the email that my order is delayed again......
Everything was great until I tried to place my order - I couldn't put in any payment, shipping, etc info via the order process or through editing my account. I tried restarting my phone, closing the app, but I ended up having to sign in on the mobile site and editing my account info. First world problems, for sure, but aggravating nonetheless.
Super easy, and the filters help me find what I'm looking for quickly. Frustrated, however, that I can't use my AmEx because it won't let me save the number (the app wants a 16-digit card number). Also when something is out of stock, the difference between the light green and dark green buttons is not obvious, and I thought the app just wasn't registering my Add to Cart click.
I loved the old Zappos, but I'm now unable to filter by most of the criteria I liked, and I've run into a number of bugs. I couldnt verify my card (couldn't tell if it needed me to enter my security code or re-enter my card number? nothing worked) and it doesn't remember my search when I open my cart or something, so I can't move between my cart and a search. Still able to find cute shoes, but it's a lot harder...
An hour and a half to buy a pair of shoes. Placed the order on the website where it tells me to download the app for 10% off. Cancel the order on the website, download the app, now there's suspicious activity and account is locked, finally unlock to find brand is excluded. What a terrible shopping experience. Customer service is top notch. Zappos buying process the lowest.
I used the app only once but it worked fine and the navigation is comfortable and intuitive. I registered on the web but then saw that if I bought through the app, I was gonna get 1 day free shipping. So I switched to the app, and all my information was saved. Overall I find that it's more comfortable to use the app then the website, especially on the phone.
This app went way downhill. I used to browse the zappos app daily, but since the update I haven't used it in months except to check if they've fixed it. The filter tabs at the bottom get in the way of me scrolling one handed. It's also slow and jumpy while scrolling -- will stop and load for a bit here and there and then shuffle everything around for no reason. I never used to have a problem with the loading/scrolling. Just go back to the way it was please! You've lost my business :(
Overall great, current version needs database/query system work. When I tap on an item, it goes to an incomplete product page and a dialogue at the bottom says "We're sorry, we could not find the product you wanted." Not all products are affected, but it's at least a third of all items. Revision 4 Jan 2020: it's hard to believe that Zappos is backed by Amazon. I've reported the bugs a few times and they've not been fixed. In fact, they seem to fluctuate in their occurrence each day. –1 star.
Fruatrating. I love love love Zappos. However, when using filters on the app, if I click on one of the items and try to go back to the list of filtered items, all of the filters go away, or it'll add random styles or name brands not in my filter. I get so annoyed I use the online site instead. otherwise I have to KEEP ENTERING ALL THE FILTERS after looking at one item. And sometimes itll take me all the way back to the home page.
Using this app to look at and order shoes is basically easy and fun. Orders are usually sent promptly and are filled accurately. However the last several times I have tried to return something I have run into difficulties. I am not able to print out a return label and when I request an electronically read label I am often told by UPS that that is not good enough. I have made three trips and several phone calls trying to get the right code in order to return shoes, which is extremely annoying.
This app is awful. None of the "more" buttons on the home screen do anything -- I presume they're meant to take you to additional options. If you open up the pictures on a particular item, there's no way to get back, as there isn't an x to close the enlarged pics, nor is there a back button. There's no alpha-sorted list of brands to choose from. The app on my iPad is great, it's a shame Zappos really shortchanges Android users.
I bought me a couple pair pants on this app. I thought this app is easy to use, but I wish they had more clothing brand name. Such as Echo, Polo, and etc. When I was creating/signing up for an account, it will give you an option to ether use your Amazon account. As your login for your Zappos account little FYI. I didn't go that route, I usually like to keep all my accounts separate. Even though it would have been faster
It was such a great app for browsing and even purchasing shoes. But an update happened, and once you've put in all of your filters to make sure you've got the right shoe just for you, and you look at a shoe, the moment you back to the previous page, all those filters are no more. Thus, making you input those filters in every single time you want to look at more than one item. I have absolutely no idea why this update was published with this glaring bug in it, it makes the app user-hostile.
Zappos customer service was friendly and patient with me. The order shipped within 3 days and I received it earlier than anticipated. The order was much smaller than I could use therefore I had to return it. I call customer service, they instructed me how to return the items and I did with no problems. My experience was a very pleasant one. However, I was disappointed I could not keep the order. I am placing my second order today due to the pleasant experience of my last order.
I have used the app a lot over the past 3 years. working for amazon as a delivery driver, it was required of us to have zappos safety shoes. went to order a new pair tonight, and the app kept presenting with an error message. I followed the instructions to delete it, clear the cache, and reinstall it to no avail. the app simply closes itself automatically upon load
Great service if you sign up for Zappos Rewards, can't beat one day shipping! I've been using Zappos for a few years and they are by far the best online retailer - customer service and selection unbeatable. Although you can sometimes find the same product cheaper elsewhere, the customer service and shipping speed make up for it. You can really find a bargain if you shop the Zappos Sale items. I love Zappos. As for the application, it works flawlessly and I place most of my orders through the app. The only thing I could recommend changing is that it is kind of confusing using the search filters but you get used to it after a bit. 5*/5* Update: Since the last review, Zappos has updated their filtering layout and is now more intuitive!
