✨Living Points: Crafting Your Day

Intermittent fasting, when integrated thoughtfully, becomes more than just a diet—it's a lifestyle adjustment. This app aims to guide users through that adjustment, offering tools to manage fasting windows and track progress. The app could include features that suggest mindful activities during fasting periods, promoting a holistic approach to well-being. Imagine features like guided meditations, gentle stretching routines, or even suggested reading lists to enrich those hours of fasting. Such additions could elevate the fasting experience from mere restriction to a period of intentional self-improvement and enrichment.

🌟Style Features: Elegant Simplicity

The app's interface plays a key role in user experience. The ideal design balances essential information with an aesthetically pleasing layout. A cluttered interface can lead to frustration, while a minimalistic design promotes ease of use and focus. Integrating visual cues like calming color palettes or subtle animations can subtly enhance the user's sense of well-being. Further, providing options for personalization—allowing users to choose themes or customize data displays—can foster a sense of ownership and connection with the app.

💫Life Shapes: Goal Setting and Achievement

Effective goal management is crucial for sustained engagement. The app should facilitate the setting of realistic, achievable goals and provide clear, visually engaging progress tracking. Gamification elements, such as badges or virtual rewards, can offer additional motivation. More importantly, the app should incorporate educational resources and expert advice to guide users through the intermittent fasting process safely and effectively. Providing personalized tips based on individual progress and lifestyle factors could greatly enhance the user experience and contribute to long-term success.

🛤️Pattern Paths: Consistency and Habit Formation

Building consistency is key to successful intermittent fasting. The app's notification system needs to strike a balance between helpful reminders and intrusive alerts. Smart notifications that adapt to the user's schedule and provide relevant tips or motivational messages at appropriate times can be highly effective. Features that encourage mindful reflection, such as journaling prompts related to food cravings or energy levels, can help users develop a deeper understanding of their bodies and eating habits.

🌸Beauty Moments: Body Harmony and Well-being

Ultimately, the value of this type of application lies in its ability to promote a sense of body harmony and overall well-being. User reviews often highlight the importance of feeling supported and empowered on their health journey. Incorporating features that foster a sense of community, such as forums or support groups, could enhance this feeling. Celebrating milestones and acknowledging individual progress, no matter how small, reinforces positive behaviors and contributes to a more positive and sustainable lifestyle.

Overall Lifestyle Value

When judging, the app should enhance the user's life by adding the beauty of structure. The user experience adds value to the user's life by being there to guide the user down the path to success.

  • Offers tools to manage fasting windows
  • Tracks user progress
  • Encourages mindful activities
  • May lack personalized tips
  • Could be intrusive with notifications
  • Limited community features

I like the interface, but there's several things that seem to be broken in the Free version. For example, streaks & milestones are not being earned or incremented. Also, the week view for the Total Fasting Hours chart is not accurate. It has not shown anything since 10/28 and the hours that are displayed for that day do not even reflect what was recorded for the fast itself. -- If you don't care about any of that stuff and just want to track your fast each day, the Today & Calendar views work.

Why does using the app require an internet connection? I just want to end my fast so I can eat but recently I've had to close out the app multiple times for it to be able to load so I can end a fast, absolutely bad UX. If you really want the data then at least just have it sync the next time its able to but don't prevent me from ending my fast.

I've used this app for YEARS, but it's busted after the last update. I've dealt with some of the weirdness with the timers being off if you don't use the app for a while, that's fine. but now I can't even open the damn thing. I can KINDA use it with the widget, as in I can stop and start it from said widget, but I can't correct times or change it from my previous setting. the app just straight up doesn't open now. no number of resetting or uninstalling and reinstalling helps. PLEASE FIX THIS! 😭
