I use this for tempature/humitity sensors. They work great, but its very difficult to see trends over time. The graphs "auto adjust" scale is too jumpy. The "full" scale is too extreme. There needs to be a third option to "set" the scale. That way, you can choose it and then scroll through and see the data trends without the graph jumping around all crazy or being blown out to basically a straight line. Please update!

I don't like having to create a cloud account to access a local device, especially when the only way the device can reach the cloud is because the app successfully made a direct connection to the device via Bluetooth. Hopefully I can work around that and use the G410 doorbell camera fully locally, but we'll see. IMHO, cloud services should always be an optional add-on that enhances the devices capabilities, but should only be required in extremely limited cases (I haven't found any yet).
Can't automate off of power monitoring plugs still? it's been years since I put in feature requests.. but yay we're getting " AI " - I've LITERALLY spent $3k+ on this brand and if I don't see new automations options and better form factor hardware I'm ripping it out and buying something else. 1. automate trigger or condition on power monitoring (ie washer ON > runs > stops > make a light blink, alarm etc until mini button presses) 2. new PLUG shape that allows TWO plugs in same outlet like KASA
I don't know how else to get a response from Aqara but post here. I got a camera hub and the wizard to set it up does not allow for qr code scanning. And when I try to get support, their chat bot is either offline, or only speaking Chinese. I've been doing home automation for a while now, and I've never used such a sloppy, bug filled app.
Whenever I open the app, it will ask me multiple times to give it permission to access my phone's storage. I have no reason to allow that, and saying no once should be sufficient. Also, connecting to locks via Bluetooth is difficult. Usually takes a few times, and for some reason requires access to your location? Aqara needs to ask for less permissions, and ask only once.
So much potential. So very unreliable. Been trying to love this thing for the last year+ but just randomly stops working, more often than not. Walking around my room in circles to trigger things on and nothing. Leave a room for hours and detects ghost people. When it works it's really cool.. When it doesn't, it's always the worst possible times. Being stranded in the dark because a simple trigger can't turn a light on, makes me actually want to go back to hue motion sensors.
regret getting an award hub. the hub is pretty limited, extremely expensive, and because it depends on the cloud, is pretty much always offline. the aqara hub and gone offline about 60 times the past two days. the app UI is poor, I mostly use the ir commands, but can't map the commands to a sequence or map the commands to a main screen widget so have to fumble around through sub menus to access them. the hub also has a speaker, but it can't be used as a routine target or be accessed outside.
App does basically what it says it does but it's slow, unresponsive, often errors, has difficulty actually connecting, and then pesters you with notifications and even ads after you have it set up. I ended up disabling notifications entirely because this app is so obnoxious. I can see why they were giving B50 locks away for $50 at Lowes.
don't waste your money on their smartocks. it will not work with apple lime they say and even nfc to open does not work. it will not detect the nfc when trying to program it but will when you just use the nfc without setting it up. blinks red. so it knows it is a nfc tag but will not actually save it to open the door. fingerprint is hit or miss but mostly miss. takes like 5 attempts to open the door. code works great but I did not buy this to out in a code.
Terrible account creation flow, the app navigators are horrible. When attempting to close the keyboard I've navigated back a couple of times so I had to resend the email code. I've chosen a google account to log in but it still asked me to create a password and enter my email which is super weird. Does not interface at all with 1password, I think the UI elements are not annotated properly and password managers can't see the inputs. The app looks cheap.
Horrible. Not useable. I have a "camera" not a doorbell cam because I can't look at past videos. There are "events" shown in the timeline but one cannot view/ access them. Maybe 1 (latest event) but the rest it just circle spins and then goes back to live. Also tiny video size default and trying full-screen is even worse. Fix this app please.
Really bad app and sensors. Nothing works the way it should. Paring is a nightmare. Definitely, I'm getting rid of my Aqara devices and will stay away from this product. Total waste of money. No customer support.
The key oard does not let you know through voice message that the batteries are low. So you will be stranded in front of your house not being able to enter if you do not carry spare batteries or the physical key with you. To avoid that u need to constantly check the app or app notifications (which u may not get) It is an extremely poor exrcution. NOTHING is SMART about that in this "smart" lock!
A clunky and confusing app for those trying to use Aqara accessories in conjunction with Home Assistant. You are better off just ignoring Aqara products altogether than going through the rigmarole needed only to be told it won't work or you need to buy yet more hubs.
the locking mechanism is really solid and stalls nicely. fingers crossed on the fingerprint reader. I have not used any of the high-tech features yet. looking really good so far. Next Step
have over 120 smart devices and 6 different agencies for controlling them and this by far is the most difficult setup. adding devices from android is a nightmare, will wait for the wife and try with Apple.
I can't open the settings of my Aqara A100 on the App. When I hit on the 3-dotted setting icon, it just shows a blank white screen, and the app becomes unresponsive..
can't find half the settings I need to alter, buried in random places, takes too much take to make small changes, very frustrating.🤬
Buggy. Now when viewing the historical feed, it's always stuck at the oldest recorded footage. I can't even scrub forward, it never loads the newer footage, instead it always goes back to the oldest recorded footage. Makes it impossible to view things that happened during the day. The apple devices connected to the same group can still view old footage and scrub through like before.
Lost all devices since I opened it the last time. Now I cannot just add them again as they appear to be bound to a different account. Would have to reset all my Aqara devices in order to be able to manage them again. Guess it's time to look for another brand to replace all my Aqara devices with.
