Edit: Multiple contacts, 11 days, response: "This is an ongoing issue, our team is actively working on resolving it. In the meantime, we recommend trying to record using a different device or through the web on your computer as a temporary workaround." So, if you see this big guy using his laptop computer as a camera, move along--nothing to see. Unbelievable. Will not record with camera. Period. S22ultra. Same error message. Multiple attempts and reinstalls. simply doesn't work.

I don't agree with some 1-star reviews. I think this app is awesome. Does exactly what it should do. It makes your video creation process much easier: scripting - teleprompting - adjusting the videos - adding subtitles (beautyful subtitles!) - downloading/publishing videos. Saves you a ton of time and I think it is absolutely just to pay some money for this service! :)
Terrible app! 1. It significantly lowers the video quality of the front facing camera 2. light for some reason flickers instead of staying steady (and I double checked without using the app, and using several different lighting options to make sure it wasn't an issue on my end or my phone). 3. It significantly lowers the volume of anything you're recording and the audio is not sharp or clear but rather low and fuzzy. 4. Way over priced for what you're getting.
I like the teleprompter capability. However, the videos cannot be upload to their cloud, when you select high definition or medium definition. Only works if you select low resolution video quality, as a result the quality of the final video is very bad, videos are blurry when you upload them to the cloud. It didn't work if you select higher resolution or medium resolution. I asked them about this problem, but they didn't gave me a solution. I will have to cancel the upgrade subscrition.

If I could give it no stars I would. Everything is perfect about this app except I could never get it to actually save a video making it completely useless. Tried to record 4 times. Nothing over 2 minutes. Would hit the 'stop' button at the end and the app would just spin. Couldn't back up. Wasn't telling me it was doing anything other than the spinning circle of death. Waited over 20 minutes the last time I tried on a 45ish second video to see if it was just really slow 🐌. No joy.

A total waste of time and money. I pay for the upgraded version but once they go into the editing process they play back at 3 times faster than recorded. Support says to change my settings,but the setting they suggest is what they are already set as. Then they say,try editing it on another device,we'll that defeats the purpose of having it. A lot of my content is posted on the fly,I don't want to wait ,take it home,load it to something else and so on. Ask around first. I wish I would have.
*update* it does work well on wifi but mobile network is hit or miss I guess... this app sucks now. i bought the premium version in January and it's been fine until the last couple of weeks. every video is choppy and the audio doesn't match the video. I've reached out for help and they keep telling me to switch cameras which does not work.
I am so disappointed in BigVu lately. First, there's the error message with the camera. saying it can't use this camera.. you been using it. I fixed that.. for now! I can record the video, but it never produces it. It just keeps spinning and spinning. I reached out to customer care, "their aware of the issue and are working to fix it"
I absolutely love this app! It makes it very easy to record informative videos for my client. I can be sure that I won't omit any important information when preparing my social media posts. It's very easy to adjust the speed and text size! There is also an option to export the video to edit on other apps to create voiceovers for other videos. The possibilities are endless on this app!
On a pixel 5, trying to record video was a joke. I have no space issues, no processing issues, and no viruses on my phone, yet this app froze any time I tried to actually record video. Maybe it would be better if i paid for it, but I'm not going to waste my time when other, FREE options provide all the same functionality. If you paid for this, you made a bad business decision.
Great idea, but not implemented well. I subscribed for the free trial and then tried the app. Poor video and sound quality, very buggy app, so I canceled the subscription through the app and uninstalled. I was ready to leave it at that, but then a few days later I was notified that they charged my card anyway! I should have read more reviews first,, many others have had the exact same experience. Stay away from this one.
The app worked great on my phone and laptop but then I tried to edit the video online and regardless of the browser I use, the page becomes unresponsive so I cannot edit. I contacted Bigvu and was asked to reboot which I did and to no avail. I tried another browser and closed all the other open apps on my laptop to free up CPU and still cannot edit. Very disappointing. I have this 2 stats because the teleprompter works great. I'm researching other apps to use.
Works good. I haven't had many issues, but there are some. The first problem I noticed was if I'm not on Wi-Fi the video doesn't upload. I waited for a long time and it wasn't loading. As soon as I got home and turned on the Wi-Fi it uploaded immediately. The second thing was that the stop scrolling during a pause, doesn't work for me. The script stops randomly and doesn't start again. I noticed that the mic sensors don't move even though the mic is recording.
If I could give this app no stars, I would. I have the AI version, but it will not connect to my Samsung S22 camera, in spite of reloading the app and turning on and off my phone. It works with the camera on my I pad, but I can not adjust the scroll speed. I am not happy at all because it has taken several weeks that I am pating for, and I have not been able to produce a 5 minute video! The app did work for the first few videos I made, but it seems to have stopped working. What gives???
I love this app. but just yesterday my beauty filter disappeared. it doesn't exist anywhere in the app. I've un-installed it twice, restarted my phone, updated it, and nothing. it's gone. I've checked to see if it comes with pro and no, it isn't required for purchase. Can anyone help? I've also attempted to contact support but no one answers and it says they're online.
It never even worked. it encounters an error everytime I try to record a video. Also made my phone very slow and hot, and I have a fully upgraded Samsung. This is the only app I've installed that slowed down my phone. I tried reinstalling and restarting my phone, nothing worked. Yes, I gave it permissions to my camera and microphone too.
Why pay $80 a year, when teleprompters that can hold phones and cameras are $100 or less now? This overall looks to be a bad investment financially unless you're going to offer a one time payment option, instead of subscriptions. I had to download the app to get pricing as well. Very deceiving to convince people your app is good via download numbers.

Was good until recent month, and the tech team just can't get it fixed! Was given at least 6 different directions to fix, and NONE of them work on an android to correct the filters! Very disruptive for my business. Too many people on server? Worked good 10 months ago. FIND something else, I canceled and got a refund. Waited for a month for the "tech" team to fix issues, that obviously can not at this time. SAD!
It doesn't work. It's always had issues, the most annoying being the syncing between video and audio recording, but a few months ago the phone app stopped working, throwing a error message at the end of the countdown. I haven’t been able to use it since January. I reached out to support and the message I received was that there is a known problem.
I purchased this subscription and was able to successfully record maybe five videos. now I am experiencing " Can't connect to camera" . I've tried deleted and reinstalling app but that hasn't worked. I tried changing camera options as directed by Clyde with Bigvu and that did not work. So I am going to move forward with asking Apple if I may receive a refund due to Bigvu not holding up their end of the contract to produce a working product for their customer , for multiple days and weeks.
