Description

Breathwrk is a breathing app that guides users through quick and powerful breathing exercises to eliminate stress and anxiety, increase energy, improve endurance, and help them fall asleep. The app offers a vast library of exercises that are science-backed and guided by original music, vibrations, and visuals. Users can fully customize their breathing experience by exploring different sounds and music, feeling the breathing patterns with advanced vibrations, and choosing between unique visuals. Breathwrk combines various science-based breathwork practices, including box breathing, pranayama, tummo, WHM, and more. The app is easy to learn and works fast on both the mind and body. Breathwrk is completely free, but offers a premium subscription with Breathwrk Pro, which allows users access to all breath exercises, all sounds and voiceovers, all visualizations, the ability to have unlimited favorites, and to set custom durations for breath exercises. Breathing is a superpower that can create nearly instant changes in the body and mind. Modern research has shown that by controlling breath, one can regulate stress levels, improve mood, decrease fatigue, lower blood pressure, curve insomnia, increase athletic performance, and more. With just a few minutes of Breathwrk per day, users can master the same exercises used by psychotherapists, Olympic athletes, yogis, sleep doctors, navy seals, neuroscientists, and breath experts. Breathwrk can be used in certain moments, like before a big meeting or exam, or daily to wake up, regulate stress levels, and go to sleep. Breathwrk has been featured in Goop, Vogue, Recomendo, The Skimm, and more. The app offers various exercises, including Calm, Sleep, Awake, Energize, Anxiety Ease, Pain Relief, Unwind, Recharge, Breath of Fire, Clear Lungs, Craving Curber, Dream, Kettlebell, No Worries, Okinaga I, Okinaga II, Okinaga III, and more. The app also offers features like Breath Counter, Streaks & Levels, Breath Hold Timer, Exhale Timer, Custom Reminders, Leaderboard, Global Map, Recommended Exercises, Daily Habits, and more.

This used to be a really good app. It suddenly has stopped working and won't let me access the full app even though I'm paying for it. I've reached out multiple times for support, and the only answer I get is to select "restore purchase", which leads it to say there's an error and to contact support. I'm very disappointed in what this app has turned into.

It is depressing to see a great app go downhill. I’ve used this for years, but ever since the Peloton partnership, nothing works. It won't verify my Black Friday subscription receipt, and support has completely ghosted me when I tried to resolve it. Now, the app just crashes on launch. I feel like I'm being scammed out of a subscription I paid for. Unusable

I so wanted this app to be great, but after paying for the pro version I discovered that the majority of the exercises are missing the data for voice instructions and instead say, "Coming Soon." The other downside is that many of the "daily exercises" show or tell you whether to use your nose or mouth once and then stop showing you the next time that exercise comes up in your feed or they don't show you at all. Could have been great but instead is an unfinished app that I won't be renewing.
