I’ve been using the Canon PRINT app for a few weeks now, and honestly, the thing that surprised me most is how stable the connection is. I wasn’t expecting much because, with my last printing app, I felt like I spent more time reconnecting than actually printing anything. It would just drop for no reason, sometimes right in the middle of printing an important document. That’s the kind of thing that makes you want to give up and just go to a copy shop.
Since switching to Canon PRINT, it’s been such a relief. I paired my phone with the printer once, and that was it. The connection just stuck. I can close the app, go make coffee, watch a quick video, open it again later, and my printer is still right there — no endless re-pairing, no “device not found” messages.
This reliability has saved me more than once. Just last week, I was rushing to print out a shipping label before the courier showed up. I was half expecting something to go wrong because I was in a hurry, but nope — it printed right away. Same thing when I had to quickly print a few pages of a form at night. No drama, no stress.
For someone like me who doesn’t want to mess with cables or spend time fixing random connection issues, this app has been a huge upgrade. It’s nice to know I can just hit “print” and it’ll work. Honestly, I don’t think I could go back to the old way now.

Description

Printing from a phone or tablet is way easier than expected with the Canon PRINT app. Just turn on the Canon printer and open the app—most of the time, it finds the printer right away. No cables, no complicated setup, which is a huge relief. What really stands out is how stable the connection is. Other apps sometimes lose connection or ask to reconnect over and over, and that can get frustrating fast. But this app sticks once paired. Whether it’s printing a last-minute shipping label or family photos, it just works smoothly every time. The interface is pretty straightforward too, with printing, scanning, and copying options right there without needing to dig through confusing menus. The print preview feature is handy because it shows exactly how the output will look, which definitely helps avoid wasting paper. For anyone fed up with fiddling with cables or clunky apps, this one’s a solid, hassle-free choice. Saves time and takes the stress out of quick printing.

I've never had a more useless app in my life. I have to reconnect to the printer a MINIMUM of 3 times every time I print something, and it's incapable of scanning. My printer just scanned the same document NINE times while my phones just showed a loading screen and never received the document. I could go on for ages, but the point is: Don't buy a canon printer and don't use this app.

I hate this app. Needlessly difficult to change to different wifi network. Have to be at the printer to use it, so wireless functions are almost useless. If someone proficient with technology like me has trouble with this, there is no hope for anyone else. It's incredibly frustrating. Printing a document was easier in 2006. I might end up paying to print something at Staples instead since my home printer is basically useless. Piece of junk.

This app is a diabolically difficult POS!!! It will work fine for a month or so (I don't do that much printing and nothing high-end not even photos) and then it will act up. It won't connect to my phone. It won't connect to my PC. It won't connect when I use the wire in the back to the USB ports on my PC or phone. And then I have to spend hours trying to reset the connections, uninstall and reinstall the app, etc. It's too bad because Canon used to make great stuff.
