Draw : Trace & Sketch

Not a bad little app! It works much better if you have a tablet that you can use it on, just for the added screen size. Make sure you use a good light source. I found the flash on my phone, but rigged up an LED headlamp on my tablet for added brightness on the work surface. I also suggest you tape down your drawing surface, and use a tripod for your device if you can. It makes using the app so much easier!

Did a quick test and really liked this app! I had issues getting it to recognize some of my photos, but found if I open them in my photo viewer app, then take a screenshot, the app will accept that. I also used my selfie stick tripod to hold my phone up. Suggest making sure your phone doesn't move and your paper is taped down. I saw someone else said a tablet was better, I'll try that.

I tried it for something really simple first & it's Very cool app! 😊 I don't usually like to trace but I'm definitely going to try it out on something more difficult like a realistic portrait! I usually draw just freehand and it always takes me a while to get the basic shapes of someone's face just right but I think this will help a great deal and save me a lot of time. Who ever came up with this idea was definitely thinking! And you've made an impression! 😁

The potential for this ap is amazing. I could see this as a tool for creating group portraits, fan art, or if you have a small bevelling tripod, forced perspective! Opacity control, positioning, line extraction and even flashlight options in easy to use ui! The opacity dial is sometimes hard to grab tho Yes, you do get a couple ads before you begin, but once in I didn't get any (testing a ten minute period, but I feel like that is plenty fair for a free ap) theres an option to purchase no ads.

I wish there was a way to add a point of reference to help with realigning if you have to move you device for any reason. I love that I have the control on the transparency of my own photos when opened within the app. However, I found it difficult to follow the lines exact as if there is a nano second delay between the screen and my actually hand.

I like it. Not crazy about the ads although I do understand and atleast no ads are popping up while Im drawing which is great. At first my sketch was not too great but the second time around i got the hang of it. It's got alot of potential and will save me from a lot of frustration. Thank you

Developers please note.. After locking screen in the trace option all the options in the top are still working and when you accidentally touch it.. It will go to gallery or camera will come on etc. I was tracing on a plastic sheet and i couldn't do it because all the time it get away from the picture. So if you lock the screen all other options should also get locked.

Seems to be good but trying to purchase no ads so my son can use it without the clickbait. Nothing comes up because there is a constant ad on the bottom I figure the purchase box is behind it? Will ipdate review if I ever get ad free. I'm a cupixel user and I figure this will be good enough if the ad free price is good

I have used this app for years and it was great but suddenly, when I chose a picture from my gallery it simply takes me back to the main menu. I can't get it to actually work or go to the drawing screen at all! I tried uninstall and reinstall but no change. What a Shame!

This app is amazing,but it does show to much ads,you press anything you get an ad and also when I download it I didn't know how to operate it, that the only thing remaining, please direct us on how to start using the app, because I figured how is done myself, for like half a day. that's the only thing I can say I got problems with.

Great app could do with better instructions but can upload, zoom and use it as a visual aid as well as a sketching tool. Take time to find a set up that suits you and practice as it is a bit unusual when you start but used as an aid for your drawings you'll learn to love ❤ it

It used to work perfectly earlier. Now it only has ads. I try to choose smth from my gallery to trace and the app immediately pops up an ad. This doesn't allow me to use the app and the ads send me back to home screen of the app once it is finished. HORRIBLE

The Game is really fun when you're using the "trace" option. Just pop in the white background and wam bam, You can trace ma'am. It's the opposite for the sketch option. It always unfocusses and move the picture when unfocused.

One of the apps which turned my mode from good to bad and ugly, i had to delet and zip files to download it and when it starts it asks u a permission to play ads to keep the app free for artists .. when you want to start a project u choose photo from gallery..ur device..and u go back to the screen opened camera..expecting to see lines of the photo to trace..but nothing!!! I convert file to bmp i think and nothing changed..bad experience

The app works really well to do what it says it should, but honestly, I wasn't able to use it at all. I found it too confusing trying to follow what I'm tracing with the overlay on top and not going over things twice or missing bits or going wonky.

This app is really very nice app for drawing 👍🏻 . This app helps me so much . This app can help us to improve our drawing. after using this app my drawing improve do much and I really like this app . U can draw anime , cartoons and anything u wanted to draw . So for me this app ais nyc

I suggest adding a save button to save the sketch because it takes alot of time searching the right position than drawing and tracing. The potential of this app is high as the stars.

when I'm trying to zoom it is zooming too much, not smooth while zooming and adjusting position. bug ig

The app is amazing. I really like it and it doesn't give any ads yet to me, but I really like it and it doesn't make you pay for anything for you to upload your own pictures. I really like that part. And it's really easy to use!!

Was able to trace one photo and then it never worked again. Tried clearing cache, clearing the app data, restarting the phone, Uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and using different photos. Couldn't get anything to come up after one use.
