Personally, I could go without so many ads in the way, I get the need for ads, but it feels like there are too many. Other than that, this is a really enjoyable game that surpassed my expectations from the first one. The first one didn't have any armor or damage to your vehicle, it didn't have weight upgrades, and all the zombies looked the same. They still kinda do in this one, but it's more diverse. Good job Notdoppler!
This sequel adds some fun new features like location-based damage. The general gameplay loop is similar (good for short sessions) but it also feels more linear and grindy (maybe because of the monetization type). You can't keep using your old car on new levels because you have to use the "improved" one- which is frequently worse than the old car until upgraded. You can't decide to try and use a lighter or heavier car. The upgrade path also feels like it's the same every time. Still fun.
The progression in this game is too slow and incremental compared to the first. You need to chip away at every upgrade, and it doesn't accelerate the rate that you earn quickly enough. There's no room to feel clever skipping an upgrade, or do a few extra runs to save up for the next vehicle, etc. It gives you barely enough for another upgrade, then you go 10 more feet every run. The first game had a lot more player freedom and was better. This game is less fun.

Leprechaun 84 (Leprechaun)
Best free mobile game ever! It is so simplistic, yet truly satisfying. It's a side scroller where you control a vehicle trying to drive as far as you can while smashing through zombies and obstacles. I have no issues with graphics dropping, game lag, and even though there are loading screens they aren't lengthy. This is NOT a pay to win either. My only complaint is that it's not available on console. I would pay nicely to pay this on my PS5.
It's a puzzle within itself! You have to figure out when is a good time to use the boost to propel you further across the map so you can gain distance while also conserving fuel after you run out. The upgrades get expensive the further you get in the game, so it's almost like farming for cash to max out the current vehicle. What will drive you crazy is getting all the mods, but still coming up short of the new gas station to pass the level. I believe it's a pretty good game.
The game is great at its core, but it needs work. As many others have expressed, it gets extremely repetitive, and the pacing is significantly slower than in the first game. It can get frustrating and boring at times, and the only way to truly circumvent this is to get the money doubler for $5, which speeds things up to a bearable level. Overall, it has potential to be amazing, but it definitely needs some reforms and polishing before I'd truly recommend it.
The ads aren't invasive, maybe an ad about every half an hour. The shop won't randomly pop up like in other games, and you even get a FREE $7500 a little after getting through level 1, and that's where it shows you you have the option to buy more, but then it never bugs you about it again. Oh, and also the game is pretty damn fun, and for a game about doing the same thing multiple times in a row, it's doesn't feel repetitive, each run is both predictable and unique.
This has to be the most replayable game i've installed (& reinstalled). i played 1 & 2 in highschool 8 years ago and still occasionally play. The controls are accurate. Each time you go back in you can go through a different route, and can always improve your distance, with good strategy. This game always keeps me entertained and i would rate 6 stars if possible. And if i could beg the devs to make a third, i'd do it 100 times. Highly recommend!
Very fun! I've been playing the original game for a long time, and I tried the 2nd one and it's amazing! It got all the things the original didn't, like damage, weight, etc. And it improved from the original features. There are more engine upgrades and transmission upgrades for the individual cars, the game is slower, and it takes a while to complete, making it funner, you could complete the original in a couple hours, but the 2nd takes 3 or 4 days! Overall super fun game!!
Overall, it's a pretty good mobile game. The only reason personally to give it a 4/5 star rating is because I feel like I get stuck too much in situations where a reverse button would be useful. Small gaps, areas where you missed a ramp but can't back up to get to it, and so forth. Other than that, it's a great game. I hope they make a 3rd one with even more and crazier vehicles and mods. :D Oh, and a reverse button if possible.
This was a very entertaining time sink for me, for awhile. The gameplay was a bit repetitive, but the core gameplay loop is fun - if a little reliant on watching ads for bonus money to avoid spending money. When I beat the final level and unlocked free mode, I went back to the final level with the very first car to see if it was possible. It was! And I finished my experience with this game satisfied.
This game is awesome. I just beat it at just under 500 days. I like that the game is beatable without having to pay for things. I watched a ton of ads though for extra money. The amount of forced ads to playing is amazingly balanced. The only thing I do not like is that every cars strength and power is the same. I think that when the cars get bigger and more powerful the obstacles should become bigger and stronger. My tiny starter car should not blast through the same as the giant dump truck.
loads of fun! Game isnt so easy or dull that I delefed it after one day, but also not too difficult that it gets frustrating. The action and graphics are fun and exciting. Like all free games, there are commercials after each course, but the courses are long enough that you dont feel like you spend more time on ads than you do on the actual game. two thumbs up!
It's a great game, but I'm giving 3 stars for these reasons: 1. The game gets really repetitive. There should be some kind of quest system, to where you have a map of the city and you can go to different locations and find money, upgrades, or fuel. 2. The ads. In the shop, when you go to buy money, it says at the bottom, "Make any purchase to remove ads." Well, I bought $5 worth of in-game money, and ads did NOT go away. Overall, great game. Just needs a little work.
Too many ads. After every other in game day you get an ad, which is about an ad every 1-3 minutes. The game is also using a lot of data (200 mb in a week) for a single player game, so that's concerning as well. It is also incompatible with other apps. For example I was running Spotify while playing the game and it crashed Spotify. Any loading screen it has pauses your music and any other function. I like the game itself, but all of its problems ruin the fun for me.
Games sorta fun. It gets a bit boring. After every 3 stopping points, you get a new car. Can't use the previous one so you're stuck with a slow, unupgraded car yet again. It's pretty much rinse and repeat. If you don't feel like playing, you get much more money watching adds than you would actually playing so if you want to get through the boring parts, do that.
This is such a good game! The gameplay, the graphics, even the music just makes me want to get a car (any car 😉) and run over some zombies! The ads are very few and very short, and i love a game with very few (and short) ads. I cannot stop playing, it is so cool. most games on my phone, i just play them once and go back to watching funny cat videos on youtube, but this one is different, I just can't stop playing it because it is so good! Thank you so much for makeing this game 👍👍👍
So, let's get the basics out of the way, I'm highly biased towards this game as it's an absolute nostalgia trip for me. However, I've noticed quite a few little details that actually made me rate. Something that either wasn't present in the original Earn to die games on notdoppler, or that I was too young ro notice at the time is that the armor falls off the cars when too much damage is taken, and that the cars deform when hitting stuff. That little detail likely requires a lot of effort.
Could be a great, fun game but instead it's a boring, repetitive grind. Play the same area over and over and over trying to earn money to upgrade your car so you can reach the checkpoint. Once you reach the checkpoint then you play the next area 15 times to earn money to make the next checkpoint. Then play the next new areas 15 times to reach the checkpoint. Then another 15 times to reach next checkpoint. Sounds like my review is as repetitive as this game.
To those of you who think there are way to many ads, you do realize that the game is totally free, it is the way the game designer made the game, so that it can continue to stay free, anyone knows this, so stop complaining, the game is free and you get to kill zombies, upgrade your vehicles, make money, so really what is your problem, just play the game and don't be annoyed when ads pop up, like I said, it's designed that way cuz it is free to play. Peace and Love
