Galaxy Watch5 Plugin

The plugin, not app, constantly opens over other apps, often causing them to crash, or interrupt whatever I was doing in them. Additionally, what kind of release note is "fixed the problem"? I work in software, and my coworkers would not appreciate it if I put that in the commit messages, let alone in the release notes. I don't know what problem got fixed, clearly it wasn't this one.

Absolutely useless plug in that doesn't load and cannot be enabled. Try tapping "Enable" and after a few seconds you're back to the previous screen. I'm using a pixel pro with a Samsung Active 5 watch and a few days ago, it stopped being able to Find my phone from the watch. Tried enabling this plug in on my phone, but ran into the issue above. Absolutely appalling to find such a basic feature degrading on a Samsung device. Please fix!

The plugin keeps crashing in the background. meaning although the watch has a Bluetooth connection to the phone, notification and texts don't make it to the watch without manually clicking connect on the galaxy wearable app. this is only a temporary fix as the plugin soon crashes again.

I upgraded my phone from Google pixel 6 to 10. I've now spent 3 hrs trying to pair this watch with the new phone. Phone now says it's connected to my Galaxy watch but the watch is frozen, not even the time. nothing. just "check for pairing pop-up on your Galaxy phone.' I don't have a Galaxy phone. it appears they have now blocked access to Galaxy watches from non-Samsung Galaxy phone. I wish I'd known that when I bought this watch. Now it's just a piece of garbage

Easy interface but things don't always work when you select options. The weather info is no longer updating so it's useless until that gets fixed. I would have rated it higher if it wasn't for that.

After the recent update, weather app is not working, asks me to add location on the phone but I'm unable to. It used to work so well with other brand mobiles but now it's just so annoying as hell.

So frustrating. As others have said, after the latest update, the weather has stopped working. I use this multiple times a day and it is so very annoying. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!

After the recent update, the Weather app won't update with the current weather and tells me to turn on location access to "All the time" for the manager app which it already is, please fix his as I've recently gotten this watch and it was working fine before

watch weather app stopped working after the last update. it no longer has the ability to even select a location.

Samsung decided that if you don't have a Samsung phone, the Samsung weather app on your Samsung watch won't work. the weather complication won't work.

The weather app doesn't update automatically.

I have used Galaxy watches for almost 4 years and it was all working fine until the latest update. Battery life has plummeted, weather app doesn't work anymore, and other various functions. Turns out you need a Samsung phone to use some of the features that were working previously. Samsung is trying to force people to buy their phones. I reverted to an older version and everything was working again but now I'm forced to update and it won't work at all until I do. Pixel watch here I come!

Just like everyone else, it keeps trying to open the app multiple times per minute and flashing white. It makes my phone unusable and it's really annoying. I've tried to reset my watch and uninstall and reinstall the app and it still doesn't work. It was working perfectly fine for 3+ months. Suddenly it says I need to allow notifications or the app won't work and everything went downhill after that. Please fix this issue

Delete this app from playstore. This is complete trash and not of any use.

I too am experiencing an issue where the weather won't update after the last version update

This update will not allow installation of this app. I have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection on both my phone and watch. Now I get a constant pop-up that tells me I need to allow notifications. Notifications are ON for everything. Not one notification is denied. WEAR stays open in the background and makes other apps glitch or quit running. My watch battery life has dropped from 2.5 days down to 1 day. How can I fix this issue?

This app is a blatant replacement for the Wear OS companion app. Since you don't give me a choice, it needs to be just as good. However, this app only works day to day. As soon as you try to do anything important, it falls over dead. I've never successfully transferred my watch to a new phone. Only once after being forced to wipe it, was it able to recover from the backup. This is a terrible experience compared to my partner's Pixel + Pixel Watch.

I'm done. After installing and then resetting and deleting everything and reinstalling four separate times since moving away from my Samsung phone, I cannot get this to work. That is without it disconnecting within a few days after hours of strenuous effort to get it re-synchronized. What a joke. Awesome watch that I guess will only work with Samsung phones. I had ZERO issues for well over a year with this Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Now I guess I can't even use it. Sad.

This app is not working, period. The app is updated and when I open it there's a message to update 177mb plug in. All it does is go to the app store which say it's installed with an update button, I press it which instantly says enable. It's a constant back and fourth. My watch is connected but can't do anything to update it or even change the time to daylight savings. I also get repeated notifications that ring four times saying session is expired and to log in to the phone. Not happy..

After getting a new phone and trying to get my watch to sync with it, I kept having a white screen glitch across my phone when using other apps. Upon investigating it is the Wear app, specifically this plugin. Can't uninstall because then the watch doesn't work. Very annoying and I would like to know how to fix it, but I can't find a work around. I love my watch, but not this headache of an app.
