I love this app and the SLAM program! The app works way better than any other workout app I've used (and I've used a few). The workouts themselves are well thought out, none of that, "I have five seconds between moves and I've got to get off the floor, unhook my band, move across the room, and the next move is over by the time I get set up." That's pretty specific, but the workouts really flow well. The content is also amazing, including workouts, health tips, recipes. Well worth a subscription.
If you follow Ashley then you know she means business, and so does her app. I've already spent time looking over workouts, setting up a system in the calendar, and reading nutrition and pelvic floor tips. I can't wait for the cool down option, and the reminder notification to tell me it's time to get my butt in gear and get the workout done. Easy to navigate, and her program is the best!
I love this program so much. So many options from being pregnant, newly postpartum, and beyond, how much time you have available, the type of workout you want to do, the equipment you have. My favorite thing is the focus on breaths during a workout, I 100% believe it impacts your core wayyyyy more. And she teaches you how to do it correctly, not like a 45 second lesson, like days of just focusing on getting it right. I can't say enough good stuff, it's amazing!
This app was worth the wait! Amazing features like toggling back and forth between current workout move and overview of that day's workout, listening to my own music while using the app, tracking my workouts, and so much more!! Plus a wonderful coach/motivator in Ashley. Jam packed with info to keep me strong in many senses of the word. Love it!
I've been using the app for almost 2 years. I love that it is flexible (beginner to advanced/no equipment, some equipment all the way to bar bells). It includes nutrition information, recipes, yoga, barre, bodyweight and more. I can work out at home with ease. Doesn't require a ton of time, equipment or space.
This app is amazing! Incredible! Fantastic! I'm gushing but it's well deserved! The way you set up the workout overview, then the start/next button. I can work out with you and it fades (!!!) my music for your quick explanation then comes back full force! I don't know if I've ever enjoyed a workout more and I already enjoyed yours!! Thank you for creating something this amazing.
Awesome workouts that challenge but also provide great modifications for you to progress through. Absolutely love that I can use these workouts through any stage of life...pregnancy, postpartum, etc. The app is awesome, I especially love that I can play music on my phone at the same time and it automatically turns down the volume during workout instructions and then takes the volume back up without me doing anything. 🙌
I wanted to use it for a few days first, now I can confidently day this app is amazing! If you know Get Mom Strong, you already know the workouts are the best 🔥💪 and the new app makes it so easy to go through the workouts smoothly and with your music while still getting the cues for each move. The nutrition section is super helpful too. And there are on the go workouts with little/no equipment needed. Thanks Ashley!!
I am not usually an app workout person. I have been an athlete my whole life so I consider myself well versed and I'm comfortable going to the gym, lifting, etc. former powerlifter and collegiate swimmer here. All that to say, I'm SO impressed with this app. SO many exercise variations and well-thought out balanced workouts. I still go to the gym for the equipment but I use the app workouts. And if I can't make it to the gym because of kiddo, there's tons of body weight and core options for home
Love the workouts! I started with the website then switched to the app when it launched. The app is very user friendly! I love the combination of instructional workouts, workout with me, timed sets vs numbered reps. It has great timers built in to help keep you on track and easily move to the next circuit. They continue to add more programs and there's even a good section. I also love that it's all about feeling strong, not looking a certain way. Try it, you'll love it!
Love everything about this app!!! I can easily see the different parts of each daily workout and toggle back & forth when I want to see the upcoming moves. I love how I can listen to my workout jams while using the app, and also still hear when Ashley narrates each move in the workout. The timer feature within each workout is very helpful and the new shuffle option is awesome! Ashley is very motivating and helps me feel excited about working out!
I love this app. My favorite feature so far is the countdown timer. Before, I was trying to manage time between rounds myself, but now the countdown keeps me on track, shortening my workout time over all. The app is bright, clean, and organized with a lot of features to get tips and track progress.
Literally the only fitness program that keeps me motivated and produces results from the inside out. I cannot recommend Ashley and her team enough.
Great pregnancy and post-pregnancy safe workouts. lots of different programs and options to choose from, a section to track your gains, even meal plan ideas which are great for the family too
This has been the best fitness app I have ever used. It's got such a holistic approach to healing your body and just becoming stronger. I have learnt so much about how to better help my body. I have to be honest, I'm really terrible at sticking to any program, and this is the longest I have stayed with one. And even though I never get in a "perfect" week and I've had to take many breaks, I have healed my dialysis and become stronger. I would recommend this program to absolutely everybody.
I've been doing Ashley's workouts for almost 2 years now and I'm so excited about this app! There are so many easy to access features, things I didn't even look at on the website (nutrition tips, recipes) and new functions - calendar, progress photos, gains! So happy to be able to easily take this anywhere and anytime!
Loving this app!! So many good attributes! I LOVE the notes feature right under each work out. I made sure to note which color bands I was using so I know for next time. I LOVE the fact you can have music on and it lowers a bit to hear Ashley's voice. It's really just so easy and awesome. Great job Ashley and the team!!
Used the app this morning and it flows so well! While using it, my phone battery didn't even drop 1% and when you start your day it's helpful to not drain the phone battery. The app is incredibly user friendly. Wouldn't expect anything less than the best from Ashley and her phenomenal program. Thank you for being awesome as usual!
I am not an exercise person AT ALL. But Ashley's program has been the only program I've stuck with with any kind of regularity. I've been waiting for this app for 3+ years. I've been doing this program since after the birth of my first and I'm convinced that's why my 2nd baby came in 1.5 hours. This app adds so many features. A calendar to track days. A checklist for working through the sets. Your music will continue to play. I love SLAM and this app makes me love it even more.
This app is THE BEST, specifically for moms (but can be used by anyone!). The workouts are challenging and well-tailored to train the whole body, and Ashley gives super helpful advice and instruction on HOW to perform the exercises properly for the best results. The app itself is extremely well designed and easy to use, lots of great features! Also love that Ashley is so down to earth - she means business and works out hard, but so relatable and real!
