Be aware! I had for 5 months and durring that time incoming calls often went to voice-mail after one ring. Then four days ago I was expecting a call and the same happened and it went to voice-mail. I had full bars of service and wifi at the time. I tried to call back the number and got REJECTED by Intune. "Can't call from a personal app. Your organization only allows you to make calls from work apps. Install a work phone app." I even tried 911 and got the same error message. Security risk!!

Like others have complained, there is a tremendous battery drain with this app. I used it without a problem for a year, then suddenly my phone started dying in the middle of the day. Company Portal accounts for 60-70% of battery usage. I opened a ticket with my IT department, and they were completely unhelpful, telling me that they don't care about issues with personal devices and that this was a Microsoft problem. Yes, without the app, I cannot access Outlook or Teams which I need at work.

Nope. Functionally, it works as Microsoft intended. HOWEVER this is the most intrusive, over permissioned apps I've installed. It's capable of turning on permissions, even if you've turned them off. It "peeks" at everything including network traffic not associated with you "work profile" apps. It seems to be sending the statistical and analytical data to Microsoft or either someone else.

Same as everyone else. Samsung phone. Sends me through an endless cycle. This is NOT the employer's issue, this is a Microsoft issue. My employer sets the parameters of the password, which I followed. The issue is that the software is not picking up the changes. My device is prompting me for the passwords now, but the software still says out of compliance. Phone and app are fully updated.

I consistently have issues with my Microsoft applications verifying that my phone is registered. I'll go through the entire process of deleting my work profile and readding it, only to have the same error on my applications: to install this app. I already have! The error will even indicate my phone is successfully registered. It sends you in a loop saying it will open the work badge Company Portal, but never does. A huge waste of time and resources.

Hands down the worst app I have ever used. When it's not kicking me off my work apps because my phone isn't "compliant" it's telling me my device password is too short, which it's not. Sometimes I can get it to work by switching to the beta but this time both versions have uniquely breaking issues so I guess I'm just not able to use my phone for work at the moment. You'd think Microsoft would make sure the hinge pin in their entire enterprise app ecosystem was remotely reliable, guess not.

This app completely isolates the user from everything else on the phone. if you get an email with links, you cannot click and go to them. if you get an attachment, you can not open, unless your company places a related app in the work play store to accommodate. If you use your phone for work, this will definitely be a frustration and reduce productivity.

This app, by installing it, will divide your device's operation system and apps into Personal and Business. You will need to select from Personal to use the apps that were normal native installations. There is no warning that it does this. It also is a huge consumer of battery power, processor, and memory. Would give it a zero rating if possible.

I can't speak to how much this assists with security, but from a user perspective this app is extremely disruptive. Recently I needed to get e-tickets from my email & couldn't because this app had placed a hold until I "rechecked". Without signal, this couldn't happen and so I couldn't access my tickets. I've had several experiences like the above. It seems to want to check indiscrimiately & prevents me using several MS apps when I need to. I'm probably going to have to delete the app.

This has got to be one of the dumbest ideas on the market. I'm forced to download this, where as competitors make the process easier. I was using Microsoft edge browser and I kept getting kicked off the app, shutting down automatically for months without knowing why. Edge would stop, then a pop up that says "Company Portal" would come on with a spinning loader, and dissappear. After uninstalling this app, edge works fine.

Works fine and seems non-intrusive (I hope and pray). But periodically this app goes into a mode where it starts running the battery down. With the phone sitting unused and no apps running, it can chew up 10% of my "healthy" battery inside of 1 hour. And the phone gets very warm. Disabling the app, suddenly my battery stabilizes. Factory reset of phone does not help. I even got a new/replacement phone. Still has same problem. Avoid this app if at all possible.

Worked fine for a few years on my Galaxy A51. About a week ago, my phone started crashing randomly and rebooting itself. I went through a process of elimination and figured out if I turned off the Work Profile, my phone would not crash. I uninstalled all my work apps, and finally managed to uninstall this app. I cleared the cache partition (several times). I have tried reinstalling and while that works, and I do get logged into my employer account, during the setup process it freezes and reboots itself again. Over and over. This is not good for business!

I don't know what updates were done on May 25, 2019, but ever since tge sync does not work. It keeps saying it will be available shortly, but nothing and it is now June 8th. I cannot access my calendar information, my email does not sync the folders I need to view, but does sync the folders that I did not request to be synced. This app is mandatory for my company so please fix the bugs! I sent an email as well, but no response. This is very frustrating 😡?

Overall, I think the app does what it needs to. What would really help would be if the app didn't hijack the entire screen when verifying app status. This a QOL issue. I could be in the middle of something, and the entire screen of my phone is hijacked, when really, maybe a notification would work. I use this app on my personal phone, to work in conjuction with Outlook and Teams. Please fix this.

Worked great for a month and then now, similar to other complains, it keeps telling me to set up PIN for encryption. It is but I go through the motions anyway but that still won't work. The only way I can check work emails now is to completely uninstall and reinstall back in, several times a day. The initial install always works, they just need to work on the periodic compliance check. Hopefully their developers are taking this seriously. I have Note 8 with Verizon.

I had set this up with a new phone, but when I tried adding my work email to outlook, it took me back to logging in. Now it isn't recognizing that it was already set up. Same as others, I'm now stuck in a constant loop of logging in and setting it up. When I think I've made progress, it does again. Is this an overall app issue, or is it an issue with the Samsung S20 phone? I can't find anything helpful online.

Wow! Dictators at large! Installed because it was needed for the Outlook app (used for univeristy) which was "controlled by your organization". It grabbed everything it could get its greedy paws on and broke program functionalities everywhere it could reach its tentacles including on the desktop. Including the apps I use for my own needs and work. No discrimination at all between personal apps and those few it may be needed for. This is one anti-productivity app I do not need. 1/27/2024

Too many notification pop ups, forced to install garbage apps like edge, and if you don't want to set a long password or pin to access your phone you have to deal with constant, unclearable pop up notifications. This is clear overreach by companies in the guise of "security". Would not recommend to any company who want their employees to be happy.

This app continues to disrupt work. Both Teams and Outlook stopped working again. There were bizzare issues that I ran into while trying to debug the issue with IT, but the eventual resolution was to delete the work profile, uninstall Intune, and then reinstall Intune and go through the entire registration, activation, installation process again. In total, I was on the phone for about an hour again.

Doesnt fully work. Many contacts are missing, some have locked icons, some dont, but they all came from Exchange. Although email is syncing I get a continuous pop up screen asking for credentials but doesnt accept them and goes in an endless loop. Tech support is worthless telling me to reinstall, which I've done 6 times already (literally). 8 now.
