Loyverse POS is a free point-of-sale software that is ideal for various businesses such as retail stores, restaurants, food trucks, grocery stores, beauty salons, and car washes. It is a mobile POS system that allows you to sell from a smartphone or tablet, issue printed or electronic receipts, accept multiple payment methods, apply discounts and issue refunds, track cash movements, and scan barcodes with the built-in camera. You can also keep recording sales even while offline, connect a receipt printer, barcode scanner, and cash drawer, and manage multiple stores and POS devices from a single account. One of the key features of Loyverse POS is inventory management. You can track inventory in real-time, set stock levels, and receive automatic low stock alerts. You can also bulk import and export inventory from/to a CSV file and manage items that have different sizes, colors, and other options. Good for a small restaurant, but not great for multiple locations, multiple languages, complex menus, or large establishments.. for instance, if you have a set that includes a meal and a drink and they are processed in different kitchens .. you cannot use modifiers because the modifiers are sent to the kitchen where the primary meal goes. you can decouple them, but this opens up the restaurant to mistakes and fraud. product managers and developers are not helpful or responsive.

This is just awesome! I would love if the app would have the option to add a new item when the cashier scans a barcode which is not in system yet, instead of just alerting that the item is not found, it should ask if you want to add a new item with this barcode and this way the cashier won't have to go out of the ticket and come back. Thanks!

I'm using this app on multiple devices and love it. However, I did recently just start using the search option on 1 of my 2 tablets & my phone. It doesn't work the same way on my other tablet. Instead of typing a few letters & then clicking my choice(s), for some reason I have to click twice to be able to start typing and then I have to hit enter to have my options come up, which is very frustrating when I'm trying to ring up many items that start with the same few letters, taking twice as long.
