Works smooth, too bad it's useless! There's no accessible folder structure, files can't be favorited for easier access, it prioritizes showing people as opposed to files, as if you weren't already using Teams already for communication! And don't get me started on the news section. It's as if this app were envisioned with no other goal than to waste your time, as everything it does, another Microsoft app does it better (and that's not saying much)
Does not have meta data, views, or filters. So it's virtually impossible to work with our data. Looks very much like a rewrapped OneDrive only you can't upload a file either. Very very limited. Update: app is still very limited. Mobile site, however, has improved substantially and allows proper navigation of sharepoint on a phone. Just note that the browser you use makes a big difference. Had best luck in Puffin (Chrome struggled)
Microsoft SharePoint is an unforgivable monstrosity. The entire world is waiting for it to sync properly. And we are left waiting.
Basic app. Navigation doesn't work whit dynamic url links (like dynamic filtering, anything behind the ? is ignored). This highly reduces the usefulness of the app because you cannot get a mobile experience of your SharePoint navigation (accessing a Document Library from an URL that uses dynamic filtering is not working). Instead of pushing AI in every corner. Fix your existing products !
Won't view files without dl'g them, won't dl because it wants Wi-Fi, with no way to change the setting to allow mobile. This is absolutely ridiculous for a productivity app which is mostly used for work. Lack of settings makes this mostly unusable.
Document access is pretty lame. Previews are available for Microsoft formats, but basic formats like jpg, png and PDF require download. Really? In 2025? Also, there are only sort options looking at file lists, ugh.
Make your application usable! I don't need some aborted OneDrive application mixed with a half baked SharePoint application. There is no continuity between the desktop interface and the app. Who approves these things to be published to a marketplace.
The internal build-in sharepoint browser is very bad, and I dont know why app just doesn't open all web links in the user's preferred browser. Having to open it manually from top right corner options is just silly!
Hi Why does it keep asking to sign in now? Also when it does open up shared documents you cannot zoom in or zoom out. Will these bugs be fixed?
I couldn't make a more infuriating app if I tried. Where to even begin? It loads extremely slowly, but that can be tolerated. Probably the worst thing is that if you open a file and then go back you don't land in the folder containing the file. No, you land right back in the home page, so you have to navigate back to the file location. This makes looking at two separate files absolutely rage inducing. There's also no way to see the full name of files with long names and so so much more ..
Constantly boots you out. opens documents in ready only view. Doesn't work with apple devices unless U put in shortcut work arounds. Unable to sign into sharepoints on random andrid mobile phones and forget ipad.
this is a cool app. it is versatile and we've not had any issues with it. the availability of our files on a moments notice from anywhere is convenient and serves our purposes well.
Keep getting a popup to login that doesn't go away after loging in. Keyboard pops up everytime you click a folder in a document library.
I didn't know how useful this app was until I joined the organisation I now work with. it's amazing and efficient for work
Excellent app that makes work easy, effective and stress free.
It is great on Web, but for some reason, the List that was made in the web is not visible in SharePoint App, completely blank, so I can't take notes while away from computer. It stores the data input but can't see anything once saved.
Microsoft have a singular ability to overlook the most basic functionality a user might want. Even asking for feedback in the app forces me to go to user voice, where I get to discover years of feedback from frustrated users, unaddressed, with the option of entering my email address, which I don't want to do. SharePoint is a file storage service, so I don't know, just guessing here, but I might want to be able to see all my files and folders without having to do a search?
I really don't know where to begin. Uploads don't work for single or multiple files, downloads don't work, the UI is poorly optimized for phone screens, and the back button does not navigate back through folders. It's honestly hard to find anything that works as it should. I checked permissions, cleared cache and cookies and tried reinstalling only to encounter the same issues.
As a student who needs the latest news as soon as possible, I give SharePoint a 4 star. Although sometimes the files go out of order and are just random, most of the time it just needs to be closed and opened again. The sign in process is really easy when you figure out your sign in details. Overall, I believe all workplace and school environments should have this app, it's is easy to use woth very minimal bugs.
App is broken! Every time I try to access the calendar it asks me to sign in again and says this app isn't working..
