Description

Dynamic Notification Island is an app that allows users to display notifications around the camera hole or at various places on the screen with different styles to choose from. It can also be set as a notifications LED light. The app breaks away from the traditional circled image with text next to it, offering customizable notification styles with animations. It also provides notification light effects like borders, glow, shake, and an animated edge lighting around the notch or the island. The app supports interactive notification lighting around the camera cutout edge and can show dynamic notifications even when the screen is off or on. It also offers a focus mode to blur the screen background except for the expanded notification. Energy Ring is another app that utilizes the camera hole as a battery status indicator. It displays a circular progressive line around the camera hole to indicate the current battery level. The app also provides animated low battery and fully charged battery alerts, as well as a charging LED light. Interactive Camera Hole is an app that turns the area around the camera cutout into a shortcut button for various activities, making phone use easier. Users can set independent functions for each touch, long touch, double touch, and swiping on both sides. The app offers actions such as taking a screenshot, toggling the camera flashlight, and opening the power button menu. It also provides access to a minimized apps drawer, opening the camera or selected app, and opening the recent apps menu. Additionally, it offers communication functions like making a quick dial to a favorite contact or an emergency call, as well as modes like toggling automatic orientation and Do Not Disturb mode. The app also includes tools such as a QR code reader and the ability to trigger automated tasks, browse favorite websites, and system functions like switching brightness and toggling sound ringer mode.

I used this app for 4 months and it worked really nice! However, when my trial ran out (I didn't even know there was a trial) it messed up my phone, big time! It would put an ad, 1/3 of my phone at top, saying your trial is over; please pay now, and there would be a banner with a button to pay now. As long as I didn't press that button, the ad stayed on my phone until I had to force close the app. I finally just uninstalled it!

This is a very good option for adding a dynamic island to your phone. My only complaint is that I wish I could make one of my pictures the background of the expanded notification style. Being able to choose a picture from my gallery to make the background would be awesome and I hope that's added in the future. I can't say I've tested them, but it also has interactive camera hole(selfie camera) settings and energy ring(phone battery level) settings which is cool as well. The extra $5 is worth it!

It's a solid concept that needs a bit more polish to shine! Here are some issues that needs to be looked into: 1) Notifications do not show up or recur after unlocking the screen. 2) The phone's native pop-up notifications do not hide occasionally, even when the sound change event is enabled. 3) Add new fonts for notifications and their texts. 4) There is a colored line along the left edge of the screen when notifications show up with the screen off.
