NotiGuy - Notification Island

I used this app for 4 months and it worked really nice! However, when my trial ran out (I didn't even know there was a trial) it messed up my phone, big time! It would put an ad, 1/3 of my phone at top, saying your trial is over; please pay now, and there would be a banner with a button to pay now. As long as I didn't press that button, the ad stayed on my phone until I had to force close the app. I finally just uninstalled it!

This is a very good option for adding a dynamic island to your phone. My only complaint is that I wish I could make one of my pictures the background of the expanded notification style. Being able to choose a picture from my gallery to make the background would be awesome and I hope that's added in the future. I can't say I've tested them, but it also has interactive camera hole(selfie camera) settings and energy ring(phone battery level) settings which is cool as well. The extra $5 is worth it!

It's a solid concept that needs a bit more polish to shine! Here are some issues that needs to be looked into: 1) Notifications do not show up or recur after unlocking the screen. 2) The phone's native pop-up notifications do not hide occasionally, even when the sound change event is enabled. 3) Add new fonts for notifications and their texts. 4) There is a colored line along the left edge of the screen when notifications show up with the screen off. great tool. i was looking for a replacement for incoming messages to show as bubbles. found this. and after purchasing the pro version for a reasonable price, it works as i needed it to. additionally i can set the camera circle as an additional button (for me screenshot). doesnt use my battery. highly recommended to make your phone more efficient. one ask: making the stacking of multiple bubbles possible along the right side. thanks.

This is a great idea, however, the notifications don't go away when I swipe them, I get another notification a couple of minutes later. Also, the option to replace the system notification doesn't work, I get double notifications constantly. I have the paid version, the only thing I can use is the energy ring. Slightly disappointed.

Just purchased this app and as soon as I went through and got everything set up. There are certain apps that when their notification comes through on notiguy, phone starts ringing and wont stop. If a second notification comes through a second ringing on top of the first. Very annoying. The only way I made it stop was to remove notiguy and then stopped immediately. Goinf through app I couldnt even find options that had anything to do with sound.

I'm loving the customization, everything is easy to use, the only issues I'm having is the minimum notification display being 8 seconds, when that feels far to long for me. And every time it displays a new notification, it will display every notification before it, which can quickly get annoying if you have several work or school notifications. Edit; I do in fact have "show latest" on, but it is still sending every notification.

I love it, but it always stops working after a few hours, and the only way to turn it back on is to re-enable the Accessibility permissions, which is always a pain. I wouldn't mind it if didn't stop so frequently. I don't think it's being force-closed, I think it's freezing up because I have battery optimization turned off and somehow it still seems to stop. And if I open the app to test the notification, the notification will not show. Update: 'Smooth' animation seems to fix things so far 😎

Amazing App. So much customization options other apps have behind pay walls. And even then, it's only a 4$ payment one time (which I'm saving my Google rewards for). only complaint I have is that the only option when setting so that the notification pops out of the side is to the right. I'm only saying this because my status bar is a bit full, and the left side of my camera is the only spot that doesn't cover anything. Otherwise, great app.

There are 2 major bugs that haven't been fixed for many months: 1. If the screen is off and a notification arrives, the screen turns on. I made sure that my device is configured correctly. 2. If the notification ring is active when the screen is off, it is unlocked automatically, which is not secure and also makes people open apps or activate stuff by mistake.

I used this app when apple first started it's dynamic island. and I thought it was a pretty good idea. I tried a lot of different apps that do just that and most of them were really basic...but this one...everything I'm looking for. I love customization and it allows you to really customize your island.

The app works great on my Pixel 6, displays the current battery around the camera cutout. However I have battery protection enabled to limit charging my battery up to 80% at most. So while the battery cutout is correct when it shows that 4/5 of the circle is full, but the battery will not charge further so I would love a toggle-able option to show a full circle when my battery is at 80%. Or maybe an automatic recognition of when the charging optimization feature is enabled to auto-enable it.

When in landscape, instead of the dynamic island appearing where it is positioned while in portrait, but with the content being rotated, it instead just appears as a black bar spanning the whole top edge of the screen, not even displaying any information about the notification or what app it's from, also if I receive multiple notifications my phone just resolves to showing it as the phone's default style, which idk if there is a fix or workaround for, but I'd like to see that addressed.

I only use it for the energy ring. It was working fine. now on my zfold7, Every time I go from the cover screen to the main screen, it resets the hole height to auto instead of what I have it set to and is off- center. I will have to uninstall until a fix is made and will re-rate.

If you have a Samsung Fold 7 this app is a must. Fold 7's have a notification bug. This app actually fixes the problem and looks a lot better. I'd recommend it for any android phone. I don't rate apps often but this one is fantastic!

app has been really good on my s25U. one problem I have though is when I use my camera hole as a battery indicator. it doesn't change color to red when my phone hits 15% warning. it says it suppose to do that in the setting, yet this does not happen.

I love the app and the fact that it has an interactive camera hole. the only issue I have is the fact that I cant seem to disable "expanded notification style". not really a fan of it and would like to just stick with my phone standard one. notiguy team, please assist, how can I disable it

I have been using the app for some time now and I say it's the best alternative compared to a dynamic spot as it gives more features in non premium version

On the pixel 9 pro fold the default location is wrong and I have to change it manually, but the custom location also doesn't save properly leading me to having to fix it multiple times per day, this really needs to be fixed.

Excellent app! Even though the free version covers basic requirements, the paid version is worth the small amount, because it supports the developers. Good job 👍🏼
