The app itself is put together very well, BUT how it interacts with orders isn't the best. If I place an order and show early via drive thru, they won't prep it early (even if I am the only one there). It would be quicker for me to order when I am there. There should be an option for drive thru and in-store, so that if you go in the drive thru, they will begin prepping when you pull to the speaker. Otherwise, it would be a good app for me.

If you scan too early or scan too late you simply won't get any rewards. Even worse, you won't know it failed to scan until after you have paid, and by then it's too late. They also no longer give you a receipt code to use when the scan fails. 2 stars because when it does work it is fine. No more than 2 stars because it's the most buggy and error-prone rewards system app I've ever used.

The app is atrocious and won't let me log in. When I try to log in through the app, it opens up an external webpage to enter my credentials instead of doing this natively inside the app, like all other apps do. Once I enter my correct login info, it takes me back to the app, thinking I successfully logged, only to access my account and have another "login" prompt. After 5 tries, it asked me to check my email for a login code, but everytime I entered the code, it said the code was wrong.

tge app is good when it works. However, it rarely does. I eat there all the time on the fly when my app us working so I can collect points. However, the app goes weeks or even a couple of months without working. It's been over 3 weeks since I was last able to add my points to my rewards and you only have 7 days to do so. It's very frustrating when you are low on funds but have almost 3000 points and can't access them to use them.

I placed an order for pick up in 1 hour & 45 minutes, then remembered an item to add. opened the app, it gave me an option to modify my order. I added the item I wanted, and the app completed the order as a 2nd order for pick up immediately. of course it didn't prompt me to approve as a 2nd order, so I didnt notice until I received notice my order was ready 10 minutes after i'd placed it

Panda has been the only food service app I've dealt with that gave me the absolute most difficulty in trying to restore my account. I tried the forget password option where they're supposed to email you a verification code in which I never receive or if I did, it arrives hours, not days later. I've accumulated a lot of points as well so it's really disappointing to have to go through all these hoops. Until this is resolved, I'm never going back to panda nor recommending it to anyone again.

App wants to update often. And by the time I update the app, I'm through the line and can't get the rewards. And then I have to manually enter in the rewards code if I remember to do it within 7 days, and I'm not in a hurry to get through the restaurant. They should make the rewards redemption go for 30 days or something like that when I process my receipts.

As much as I love Panda, I must say I'm a bit underwhelmed by the app. earning points is always nice and it's convenient to order food in advance but the deals that are offered to you are few and far between. Most of the deals also require spending at least 20 dollars. I only buy a single meal whenever I go to panda express. I typically go alone and I don't have a family to feed so most deals that come my way are typically wasted.

They've fixed the optimization issues lately, but the rewards system is pretty lackluster, and offers are only available like a single week out of the month. They can be pretty good, but they're usually really specific, and they don't last very long. Odd choice when they want to call it the "monthly good fortune." It's single use, and it's only available for like a week.

11/7. Nope. App worked for one week. Tried to clear my payment methods and put them back in. Now, it won't even let you add a credit card. 10/24. They fixed it after several weeks!!! Five stars!!! 10/10/25 The app still cannot take a payment. It gets stuck. 10/3/25 The app hangs up. I get an order in but when it comes to payment I get the circle. The app cannot process payment. This at least two weeks now.

Unfortunately the app is not usable for me because if you select delivery you are unable to choose which location the delivery comes from even if other nearby locations do delivery. Because of this it forces me to order from a location that is out of everything constantly. I use Doordash to order from a better location but it would be nice if I can actually use my panda rewards.

The app does it's job just fine, my only problem with it is how bad the monthly good fortunes have been. Like getting a free bowl only if I purchase two plates, or getting a free fountain drink for spending at least $25. That's way too much food for one person and hardly worth the expense in the long run. The offers tab also never has offers. I have a hard time justifying revisiting the restaurant when the company is being so stingey with its customer loyalty benefits.

I've been giving restaurants my number for years. I tried downloading the app and getting my credit. I had difficulties. tried downloading it later, again, and was successful at hetring an account. I've proved thst my telephone number works. when I got to get credit for a receipt, it spins. this has been the case for at least 10 visits. every time, it spins. I have no idea if I have any point, credits, discounts, etc. I've tried reloading the app. I get the spins when I click the button to enter

Absolutely my go-to spot when I am hungry. The app saves my favorite and recent orders. I can even name them for quick reference. I can add my reward points to save a couple bucks on my meal. Also, I love getting the bigger plate because there is so much food that I can eat twice and get full. All for around 15 bucks. It always comes hot and fast! Delivery fees are cheaper then the Big Name delivery companies charge too. And I really appreciate being given the option to tip instead of required.

It's inconvenient and incredibly frustrating to set a favorite location but still having to manually select the correct location before ordering. I made an order but it went to a completely different location (half an hour away from where I was at the time) beside the one favorited location I saved (right within the same mall from where I was located). At least auto set orders to go to locations closest to you. Overall, I like to use the app for the original pricing & deals, and for pickup.

Yes, I agree with others that the app seems more user friendly and easier to place orders. I'll change my review to 5 stars when I'm able to store a gift card on the app, like many other fast food restaurants. Another issue, my phone doesn't even give the option to let a gift card be added to payment, but my husband's will allow it. The app on both our phones are updated to latest version, so that doesn't make sense. Download the app and walk right in to pick up your meal. Don't wait in line!!

The app is awful. I've tried ordering through it over and over. You just cant place orders. Error after error. Every time you try to refresh it or try again, it adds more and more silverware to the order, it adds duplicate credit cards as well. At one point it said i had 9 cards to choose from, but they were all the same one. I come back every month or so just to see if its been updated or fixed at all, it hasn't. I just order through the website and it works perfectly every single time. Deleted

My mine gripe is similar to what others experience. The full menu needs to be available at all points in times. I'm not sure if they limit the options available in the app due to particular times of the day (lunch vs. dinner ordering) but if so that is total B.S. I order bigger plates (3 entree meals) as it makes more sense for how our family consumes the food, yet this item has been absent MANY times from the menu. Additionally, certain appetizers will or will not be there. Such a pain. I'll give it an extra star just for the convenience of being able to order (when items are present), pay, and pickup without much hassle. When the app doesn't work, I have to skip the convenience and order things in person as I know I can get what I want that way.

Pretty good app. It doesn't clearly ask about sauces when you add an appetizer like sweet and sour sauce. If it needs more time than originally selected to prepare the order, it notifies you when you try to sumbit, you select ok but then the order doesn't go through. So you have to go back to cart, change the time, re- enter promo, cc info, etc. So kinda clunky, but it works.

The app defaults to the closest location at install and it cannot be changed. It will show other locations but cannot change. Literally the only way to update your order location is to uninstall the app and reinstall when you are at or near the location you want to order from. If you overcome that, items are frequently unavailable to order in the app for absolutely no reason. And unlike every other fast food app, they very rarely offer any deals in the app. Don't bother.
