Description

ParkStAug is a mobile app that allows users to pay, extend, and manage their parking sessions with ease. The app provides a quick and secure way to pay for parking using a smartphone, eliminating the need to feed a meter or refill it in the rain. Users can also receive email receipts at the end of their parking session and manage their parking history through the app. The app also alerts users when their parking session is about to end, eliminating the need to worry about how much time is left on the meter. ParkStAug also provides users with information on when parking rates will change in the future, even when there is free parking available. This feature ensures that users are not surprised by any price changes. Additionally, the app allows users to add time to their parking session directly from their phone, making it easy to extend their parking session if their plans change. To get started with ParkStAug, users need to download the app, park where they see ParkStAug app signs, pay for their parking session from their phone, and relax. The app is constantly updated based on user feedback, ensuring that it meets the needs of its users. It is important to note that persons with a disabled parking permit or license plate are exempt from parking fees in City of St. Augustine metered parking spaces, in accordance with section 316.1964, Florida Statutes. This exemption applies to all metered parking spaces in the city, and users with a disabled parking permit or license plate do not need to use the ParkStAug app to park in these spaces.

Doesn't work. I found a parking spot, parked, then entered the zone number in the app. The app said the 'location was unavailable' with no explanation. Did this mean it thinks there were no vacant spots? Because clearly there was one. No way to override it in the app and their FAQ section had no mention of the error. Had to give up and pay using the meter like a peasant.

What is wrong with this app? Having to use the kiosk many times. 1) App won't start randomly. iphone13 2) After pressing 'continue to pay' ($10=4 hrs) the app defaults to ($1.25=30 min) to start over. S24 3) Can't pay ahead of time for next morning? 4) Can't look up the required pay-to-park hours just to plan the day and decide the best location without having to walk back to the sign to read in the dark/rain/or cold? Needs an upgrade

Whoever designed this app should probably resign monday morning... It does not discover the parking zones .You have to be phisically present next to the meter to pay. Dont hope to download and use this app on the go. Epic fail and pointles use of space on the phone. Touristy destination, but tourists must know all parking zone numbers!!
