Moments of Insight

Exploring this app reveals a focus on connecting users with experiences, particularly live music and events. The potential lies in fostering a sense of community and shared enjoyment.

Balanced Perspectives

Pros
  • Direct access to tickets and perks.
  • Potential for personalized event recommendations.
  • Streamlined booking process.

Cons
  • Reliance on partnerships with specific venues/providers.
  • Potential for limited event selection based on user location.
  • Digital well-being considerations regarding screen time and FOMO.

Mindful Observations

The app's interface seems geared towards efficiency, prioritizing quick access to tickets and event information. How effectively it filters and presents relevant options is crucial for user experience.

Thoughtful Reflections

A key consideration is how the app balances promotional content with genuine value for users. Over-saturation with ads or irrelevant offers could detract from the user experience. The user's agency in controlling notifications and personalized recommendations is paramount to promoting digital well-being.

Harmonious Integrations

Personalized Event Discovery

If the app successfully integrates user preferences and location data to suggest relevant events, it could significantly enhance the user's experience. Seamless integration with calendar apps could also simplify scheduling and event planning.

Thoughtful design would include features that help users manage their time and budget related to attending events, promoting a balanced lifestyle.

Potential for Digital Wellness

This app's contribution to digital wellness hinges on responsible usage. By encouraging real-world experiences and offering tools for mindful consumption, it can become a valuable resource rather than a source of digital overload. The platform has the potential to promote social connections and shared experiences, but users must actively manage their engagement to prevent negative impacts such as Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO).

Overall Harmony

The "Priority: Gig Tickets & Perks" app has the potential to bring users closer to events and experiences they value. To truly harmonize with user needs, it must prioritize relevance, personalization, and responsible consumption.

Description

Virgin Media and O2 have joined forces to offer exclusive perks, rewards, and experiences through the Priority app. Virgin Media customers can now access perks from both the Virgin family and O2, while existing O2 customers can enjoy new additions from the Virgin Family, such as Virgin Experience Days and offers on Virgin Wines. The app provides exclusive tickets, rewards, and experiences, including cinema tickets, early access to music artists through Priority Tickets, discounts on favorite brands, and daily rewards. The offerings are updated monthly based on user preferences, with surprise discounts included. One of the rewards available through the Priority app is complimentary cinema tickets to the latest blockbusters every Tuesday. Users can claim a voucher code and book tickets for any film the following Monday at an ODEON cinema. Additionally, users can treat themselves to a Greggs Sausage Roll, Vegan Sausage Roll, or Breakfast Roll every Friday or Saturday. The app also offers a perk of a complimentary drink at O'Neill's pubs nationwide every Thursday, allowing users to catch up with loved ones. The Priority app provides exclusive rewards, concert tickets, experiences, and discounts from various brands, including Greggs, ODEON, Virgin Experience Days, Booking.com, Caffè Nero, and Virgin Wines. Users can log in with their O2 or Virgin Media credentials to access these offerings. The app features weekly rewards like coffee from Caffè Nero, special discounts on holidays with Booking.com, complimentary ODEON cinema tickets, and early access to Priority Tickets for gigs and events. Users can receive notifications to stay updated on the most-wanted experiences and can easily redeem voucher codes for concert tickets and rewards. The app also offers discounts on restaurants, activities, and the chance to win Priority prize-draws. However, it is important to note that Priority is available to Virgin Media broadband customers but not to Virgin Mobile customers.

Keeps getting worse. You can't use the priority desktop site anymore (which makes presales a nightmare, as the app doesn't transfer correctly to the Ticketmaster app), but at the same time everything in the app links you to a webview? You're already logged into the app but you have to re-enter ALL your details to do anything? Any competition entered, each detail must be re-entered? O2 need someone who knows CX to review this app, it's frustrating. No Blue Monday notifications/reminders either 👎

A good rewards app. Sadly lost a lot of great deals (Caffe Nero/pizza express) but still worth checking. I try to always remember to use the Gregg's £1 deal. Even if I don't want it someone else usually does.

NEW - This updated App is useless! Keep getting logged out. Who designed it? They need fired. ORIGINAL - Some offers are good but need more local offers. Lots of offers are London based and don't include travel or stay. For a company that had income of £10.9 billion (!!) in 2022 I'm sure they could spare a few quid for travel & hotel. Maybe they don't know their customer base but not all live in London.
