It was cool for a bit but turns into a pay to play. After 5 or so levels you do not earn enough tickets to buy the next level on the free play. you have to buy the pro pass for each subsequent level which is $10. You cannot continue without it. To advance in a decent amount of time you have to buy the ad free pass which is $15. NOT WORTH IT.
While I'm used to games being ad driven, at least I know what I'm getting into early on. Every ad I watched was voluntary (to receive a reward) until I opened my 3rd prison. Then the random ads started popping on their own. Trying to get me too hooked to not put up with that? Nah, I'm out. 2 stars instead of 1 because the game is honestly fun and well done. The greed just totally ruins the experience in the end.
It's okay I guess, there's a lot you can do yes, but the majority of it is mostly offline because you get more rewards that way, Plus you magically make more money faster. also, during the first prison you'll get no ads, during the second one You get every minute or so, when you close a menu so be careful. also, there are only male prisoners which is kind of stupid. they're all just the same model slightly colored differently which is their form of "representation" or lack thereof.
Game was fun in the first prison, but the constant forced ads in the second killed the fun. I couldn't even find an option to get rid of the ads. Not really worth playing unless they change this, because it's frustrating to go upgrade a room and then being forced to watch ads immediately after. It would be one thing if they were optional and gave rewards, but these ads are just there to shove them in your face and interrupt the gameplay, you get literally nothing from being forced to watch them
I like this game a lot but it eventually became impossible to play because every 3 time I touched the screen I had to watch an ad. So I bought the ad free version because I made it all the way to the Mars prison. Then out of nowhere they changed the rules of the game. So instead of reforming prisoners now I have to collect blueprints which sucks! It is going to take way longer to get to the next prison now. I think it's bs to change the rules of the game AFTER I pay for the ad free version!
Listen to the other reviews. This was a fun (simple) game at first. I considered paying the money to stop having to watch ads for rewards but then the forced ads started up and they. are. CONSTANT. I'm not paying to stop forced ads when the ads take up more time than the game does. It's simply not a fun enough game to pay $15 just to stop the onslaught of ads. I'm only giving one star because a lot of other people complained about the same thing and no compromise has been attempted.
Unplayable! Haven't played in a while but decided to fire it up tonight. Applied the latest update and now I can't play without being forced to completely close and restart my game over and over. Like 60 seconds into playing and a prison guard pops up on my screen telling me to take out a prison loan. A loan I don't need as I'm flush with cash and revenue. When the guard goes away the game won't respond any more. Touching anywhere on screen does nothing. Forcing a restart.
EDIT: Game used to be pretty great, but now it wont even work. Ive uninstalled it, cleared cache. Nothing works. Great game and loads of fun...as long as you don't complete it. Please add the ability to reset your save! This game has no purpose once you complete it and honestly that happens sooner rather than later. Game has been updated in over a year.
It's really not a bad game. But here's the hitch- You cannot progress timely past the space prison unless you spend money. I need about 2500 blue prints to progress. You get about 30 a day. I have claimed all the blue prints I can. I either progress for the remaining 2500 at a rate of 30 a day or I have to buy a package to move on. Do the math, how many days at 30 a day. Answer is about 84 days. THIS GAME IS A MONEY PIT!!!!!! Don't play unless you are ready to spend money beyond a certain point.
Used to be better. Costs too much money to keep unlocking more prisons. Played this game for years but officially retiring and uninstalling. If you want to keep people around please make it easier to get blueprints without spending money. At the current rate I was gaining free blueprints ones with events etc it would've taken months to unlock a new prison and all of mine are fully upgraded. Made it very boring.
can you please stop showing Temu ads. Everytime I watch one it opens a new window by itself and when I try to exit out it restarts the game so I never get my reward. I've lost so much money cause of those ads specifically. like right nowni was watching to get 2x 90,000 it opens a new window and i try to go back to the game and it's restarts and i don't get anything. Plus now ad free is 15 when it used to be 10. I been playing this game for years and I'm starting to wonder if I should continue
edit: you can't play past Space Cooler without paying money so skip this one. The problem is that it's the same game, each and every level. The spaceship, for instance, still allows prisoners to escape (somehow). And you have to build a workshop to make food and weapons "to defend the prison", but those don't do anything. There's no cooking minigame or consequences for ignoring the workshops. The workshops don't do anything either - they're just there to slow the player down.
It was genuinely fun to play but along the way the game crashed when I was trying to collect larger mission achievements. Now the game has bugged me short a blueprint (only collected by completing missions as far as I know) and I can no longer progress in my game. I'd love to be proven wrong and told another way to get blueprints because I was enjoying the game otherwise.
Fun but disappointing. The gameplay is a typical tycoon game but the progress is steady and I didn't feel the need to watch ads over and over just to progress. I enjoyed it so much that I spent $15 for no ads plus a bunch of other benefits. I thought cool, I am supporting the developers and progressing even quicker. Then I finish the space level to find out that I cannot even see the last three levels without spending even MORE money. That is a major problem, please fix this devs.
Was a cool game, years ago I beat all the various levels. I just decided to install it again and it's hitting me with thousands of endless "prison guard" prompts about riots, loans, blueprints, etc. I get I haven't played in a while, but for 10 minutes I couldn't get through forced popups and prompts. Welp, I promptly uninstalled. Popups are so 2001.
I didn't experience the force ads like others claimed, but the money process was too slow, so I bought the ad free package to get the X2 and the other ad gifts quicker. now that I am at the space cooler level, I learned I cannot earn enough blueprints to move forward without being forced to buy one of the passes from the prisons to get enough blueprints to move forward. the special events hardly give out much blueprints, which isn't helpful and now I am very disappointed i came back to this game
It used to just be pay-to-win for the events when the top guys were spending hundreds of dollars' worth of premium currency. Now it is pay-to-play as well just to unlock new prisons.
I do really like this game, it's very fun and you can do a lot. but my problem is the ads. I get one every three clicks and with some of the ads they take me out of the game entirely and so I have to load back in, now usually I always watch the ads when I get a REWARD out of it, like the money, I used to never miss out on the opportunity, but now because they pop up so often I just don't want to because than I'm just wasting more time. I might just stop playing at this point.
I purchased the no ads pack because I felt it was a good deal. It was, however, I managed to complete all the prisons almost a year ago and there hasn't been any new ones released. I wish they would add a reset feature that rewards you for completing all the prisons and allowing you to start over again. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to become a feature anytime soon. The game is fun and a good time killer, but once you unlock everything it just hits a dead end.
I think this game has lots of potential. When I turn off the game though, the prisoners get really stressed out. It's hard to deal with sometimes. Also, I just finished the first prison. I finished upgrading it a day or two ago though. I spent a lot of time not being able to do anything and just watching prisoners like some boring show. You guys should add in minigames or something. This game got boring fast
