RAR

The app is great! I love how I can look at pictures without having to extract them. I don't know if it's possible, but I'd love it if I could scroll through pictures instead of opening each one individually. I also like the "send" option where I can move things to other zip/rar files. However, it looks like I can't send folders to other zip/rar files. Would be great if I could do that and also create folders myself within the zip/rar files, since I like having things be organized.

might be somewhat user error on my part however. when selecting an archive and clicking test archived files, when the test completes it does not deselect the archive. deselecting an object after an operation is expected behavior. ive been using it to zip pictures and videos and ive now lost 2 archives of pictures I considered important because i zipped them, tested the archive separately and deleted the original folder. I will be finding another app with more desirable behavior.

At a single click I stared at phone not knowing what else to do again. Went back to check my memory and that file was already extracted. Great up. 5 star for doing exactly what you say you do.

Every time I open the application, a pop-up appears asking for support for development. There should either be a premium version or an option within the application to disable this. The pop-up is irritating. Moreover, I do not find it necessary to donate or provide support when comparing it with other alternatives.

just needed to extract an rar file to the same directory. wouldn't do it without debugging a bunch of configuration. don't waste your time.

Works as intended but I have a concern regarding restoring deleted files. Recently deleted files done through RAR app aren't appearing in my Galaxy's built in trash feature. Where would I find deleted files for the sake of restoring them?

Fast and easy to use. The app deal very well with encrypted file.

Kinda confusing to use, but once you get the hang of it... it's like the perfect drive.

I like this app & the developer is very quick to respond to emails. HOWEVER, do not pay for the subscription with a Bread Financial Amex card. Immediately flagged my card as a victim of fraud and started a multi day saga to get it fixed. Apparently RARLAB looks suspicious to Bread. It was a completely silent process too, no text messages, emails, physical mail, nothing. Card just started declining for even $0 transactions.

it's taking FOREVER to unpack a file, it worked really well a year ago... tip: if something isn't broken, don't try to fix it...

Please make it possible to search inside a zip file. For example by name or number, whatever identifies a file inside an unzipped zipped file. This would make things much easier. I dont see any search function inside the app now. Thanks

Good app. I wanna support development, but I don't like annual/monthly subscriptions, even if it's only €1,19 a year, and even if I can cancel it any time. Many people don't like subs. I think if you consider to add one time fee for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 etc (aside from the subscription plan) and disclose if, when and for what amount the pop-up: "Support RAR Development" disappears (and for how long) then you🫵 can become rich $$$🏦💰🤑 more than only offering a small subscription fee for support👍

The app was easy to use and light. But I would like to suggest one thing, I was thinking of adding an option in the app. The option was about automatic deletion of RAR/Zip files after extraction. Of course, it was optional choice. For me who is worrying about my phone storage space, this option was helpful in my case. Your app is great, keep up the good work!

very usefull app for Zip File extracting also it helps to repair a corrupt Zip File.

I needed to extract a simple ISO file and I found this to be a very professional and clean app for working with archives so it deserves 5 stars to stand out above the other Android apps.

Does what it's expected to do. If you're having trouble extracting ZIP or other archive files in your current file manager, simply go for this.

RAR is good but it needs multitasking feature.
