Remote For LG TV Smart + IR

Works for 10 minutes then doesn't. Reinstalling doesn't reboot it. I reinstalled this app at least 6 times. Every 3rd reinstall it connects. Still out of the 7 or 8 "lg remote replacement" apps I downloaded this is the best. I can't believe how awful basic technology is that there's literally no fully functioning free or paid virtual remote in all of Google Play. But yes that is 1000% consumer technology for you. Expect this to work 3/5 times at 80% on your LG TV at best.

The remote works great. Better than any other remote app I've tried, but I paid them $7.99 to remove the ads and I'm still getting ads. So one star until this issue has been resolved. Update: It's been over a month. I still have ads, they still have my eight bucks. They're clearly content to take your money and run. Buyer beware.

App works great..but those ads just come out of nowhere and stop you in your tracks when you're changing the channel or browsing for a program...I get it, ads are part of free apps, but I think I'd rather drop $10 on an actual remote rather than deal with the unpredictability and interruptions of ads with this app... But like I said, the app works as advertised.

This works great i have no complaints on the remote itself. My reasoning for the one star is to grab your attention to the fact we have paid the fee the app requires to comfortably remote without ads, yet, here we are a week later- today, ads have loudly appeared and more intrusive than before. I would love to give five stars but until the ads completely stop, it will remain as one star. I want to give you guys a chance to fix this before asking for a refund. Thank you for listening.

Works well, since the dog ate our original remote! Ads may be slightly inconvenient, however it's a small "price" to pay for a FREE working remote control that's identical to the one that came with our TV (and the convenience of having it on your phone is priceless!) Would recommend.

Great solution if you have problems with a physical remote. The response is great. It is also good to have multiple remotes to choose from. The only issue is that everytime I lock my phone I have to reconnect to the TV and the time it takes is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes takes like 2 seconds, other times I've waited for more than 10.

Couldn't find instructions on how to use the remote once the app was downloaded. Once a remote was selected, the only options that were displayed was volume up or down, channel up or down, home, or back. Therefore I give it a 1 star rating only because it won't let me do a"ZERO" rating!

great app, works almost perfectly, other than the fact that none of the buttons besides volume and home actually do anything and sometimes it likes to do this thing where I'll open it and it loads and loads and loads and loads.... you get the picture, it never finishes. I have to uninstall the app and reinstall to fix this, but it's a very small app so it doesn't take long. happens more often that I'd like, but other than that this is hands down the best remote app I've ever used.

This apps been out for year's now, and its still dodgy as hell to work . Buy a cheap universal remote, and it'll work perfectly. The remotes you buy are the same software as your digital remotes only difference is the company will leave out a certain code so it wont work properly, they do this to get you to pay for a new lg remote, and not use the remotes off the play store. Never trust corporation's. They purposely make sure the play store remotes don't work properly.

Well my TV is Lg. I loved the intro. But I could only press a button, and press what kind of remote I'm on. It loads and loads forever. All these "PHONE ON REMOTE" apps never work. Had to write lots of reviews in a day if I had to tell you how I felt about the apps. I never got a chance to Do it not even once in these apps! Please edit. Thanks!

This thing never keeps connection. I would never recommend downloading. It as it's constantly unconnecting and they never wanted to reconnect don't have time for it. Why would I pay for something if it doesn't work consistently all the time? Just get some batteries for your remote..

Full screen ads constantly popping up with sound while using the remote are a pain and if you're looking at your TV scrolling through channels they are very easy to click on. However my real remote stopped working. Downloaded this & switched it to the IR setting and done. easy as that... Thanks

Well after my son losing the remote & breaking the new 1🙈 THIS has saved us😁 it is by FAR the BEST "Remote App" that I have ever used, & the EASIEST/SIMPLEST 1 aswel, SO GLAD that I downloaded it from app store😁👌 also love the idea of having MULTIPLE remotes in just 1 app, & having the CHOICE to be able to chose "other remotes" whenever I want/need to change it & use another 1🙂 (also being able to have "FAVOURITES" so that you can access them SUPER EASILY😍 100% recommend this app

works okay but paying for no ads doesnt guarantee no ads. ive had it for a while and paid the fee for gold or whatever so I didnt have to wait for ads to play before turning the volume now on my TV. now I get ads frequently and I feel ripped off.

Works to a degree. Takes ages connecting and I can't leave it on in the background as it doesn't connect when I bring it up again, so every time I've used it I have to shut it down, then open it again for the next time I need it. Otherwise not too bad, does actually control my TV.

Incredibly convenient! With a solid number of people in our household losing the remote can become a common issue. Though it is always found it's nice to have this app around just in case. So far hooking it up is incredibly easy and using it is accurate without any bugs or glitches. Thank you!

It's pretty decent and works well and does what it's supposed to do. I just don't like how it loses connection to my TV so easily, my wifi is pretty good so that's not the problem it's the app. Edit: there are so so many ads now and it can interfere when im typing something 😭

I downloaded and installed. All good until I tried to use "input", "my apps" and all other stuff. It just worked with volume. Picked two remotes for smart TV that I could find. Same issue. You don't have mine so I guess bye 👋.

It worked when I installed it, the app connected with my TV but not sure why after one hour then it couldn't connect. I uninstalled the app then reinstalled it and worked again for a while and then lost connection again and couldn't use it. Also I know they need to make money but the advertising are annoying and some inappropriate.

Right when I thought I was going to have to spend more money to buy yet another remote bc my dog for the third time chewed to pieces my last remotes a friend tells me about this app. I wish I would have known 3 remotes ago...lol I'm beyond satisfied and 100% recommend anyone to use this app. It's super easy to use and these days we all have our phone in our hands so you can't lose. Win - Win all around. Best download ina long time.
