As multiple user have now reported. Update 5.8 broke saml login. It goes to loading after entering my credentials and dies. Opened a ticket and th y suggested clearing the data and cache. This did not fix the problem. They appear to have now given up on helping me fix the issue. For now it's back to the browser on my phone.
Thanks for this ManageEngine Team! I love that at any point I can quickly add a new request straight from my phone, and review existing tickets and their notes, all without needing my computer. Very convenient on the phone; obviously has less features than the Web interface, but I wouldn't want all that on a 6" device anyway. Quite a responsive app as well, possibly faster than the Web interface. Recommended!
Undoubtedly the worst experience app. Every minute you need to login as it auto logs out for so called stupid 'security reasons'. C'mon this an app on our private phone. Only annoyance. Next worst thing : no notifications whatsoever comes from the app. Third - What ever customization you do on the app wont be saved when you login in next time. So all in all junk.
Organize filters function does not work which means I always get a view that I'm not interested in when I start the app. I can remove the filters but they all come back next time I open the app. The view it chooses is not the first one in the list either. Otherwise app is pretty good.
The app was alright, however the recent update has completely broken the app. Running a s22 ultra. Can't click on anything and when it does somehow open tickets you can't scroll. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't make a difference either, very disappointing.
Horrible application and quite useless! And when you search, it only searches within the cached/already loaded records, instead of searching online and returning the result. SDP is proving daily how unsupported and horrible it is! The problem is that this product has the same comments and complaints since around 10 years!!!
Terrible on version 5.02, I downgraded to 4.92. since It annot connect on port 80 using DNS name or IP addresses. Cannot save server settings. 4.92 and earlier this is ok. If want to use without SSL it's useless. I don't have certificate server not want to buy SSL for the app on the WLAN so why not support plain old http please. If am floorwalker I want the app to work without having to use my exchange server for email notifications! Sort it out for the next update please. This is a Major bug!!!
App that used to work but now just worthless. Can't use login details or server. Always throw out and error without a description. Mailed support many times over a year with no feedback. No answer on calls either. All our techs experiencing this issue.
The app is just not intuitive. When compared to the web app. UI is just not user friendly, I feel developers could have done better with this. Cant see who ticket is assigned to until I open it. Same with date request was logged.
The service desk app is difficult to use and not user-friendly. The interface feels cluttered and confusing, and it’s not straightforward to raise a complaint — there are too many steps and unclear options. A simpler and more intuitive design would greatly improve the user experience.
The app is unappealing and hard to use, there was a learning curve to the simplest tasks like replying to a ticket. I can't view change requests (at least not that I could find). Badly needs a modern update.
I can sort of view my requests fine, as long as its not an older request. If there are 8 requests in my queue, but the app last saw 6, I'll only see the most recent 6 requests.
Update: after submitting issue to support, they were quick to resolve. Thank you. ....... Was working 5 minutes ago. Did the latest update to 5.8 and now get the please wait after SAML login. And before you ask about connection, yes my connection is fine.
Can't login using Active Directory credentials, always says the password is incorrect (it's not). SAML using ADFS doesn't work either, http error is generated. Works fine in a browser though.
This app locks you out after update. All updates ive done got me sending mails upon mails to get it working You will get a message like invalid encryption keys. Update at your own risk!
this app is useless not all the features is supported, in the assets you can't search by the user name for example if a user have multiple asset in the browser if you searched for the user name all the assets that assigned to the user will be showed, how ever in the apps you can't make a search by the user name.
AD authentication still doesn't work. Now I don't even see the option to select AD authentication. I can only see Local Authentication in the drop-down list.
There is no login support if you have multiple domains or if you have added domain accounts. What's the use if you cant login.... This is long awaited feature since past 4 years… in 2019 still thisbfeature is not there. If u dont understand importance of mobility and do not adapt mobility as client accessing mediun people like me will walk away and soon your compitetors will overtake you.
Hi Mobile apps team , I'm using latest version but now Unable to login ,error: wrong username password.No issue login via web.only mobile apps have this issue. No internet connectivity issue.already generate new API.still unable to login until now. No issue with mobile app permission.Please check.
Having worked with multiple ME products, this app is visually unappealing. It feels dated, rushed, and doesnt offer any dashboards, similar to what i would get on the full web browser. very disappointing. in comparison to the Desktop Central app which is visually appealing and strong with functionality, this app needs to much work to get it to competitor equivalents like FreshService, SysAid, ServiceNow. Any timelines on a reskin and update?
