TV (Samsung) Remote Control

So far its been great. I lose tons of stuff but the only thing that I have trouble finding most is my remote. out of desperation I came on here to see if there was an app otherwise I'm stuck watching the same channel and can't get it off. Its works just like my regular remote, simple to figure it out, only had to pair it once and luckily didn't need my remote to do it. I wish I had come across it earlier. PLEASE dont make the same mistake others do and try to upgrade to make it fancy.Its PERFECT

New Updates! FASTER! I came here specifically to say that whatever you've done lately to the app has significantly increased the speed of it uploading at launch! It is SO much better. I've used this for a long time, and the launch delay was very frustrating, especially when i wanted to quickly mute or pause the TV when a kid walked into the room. Now it's actually fast!

Works very well with my Samsung. No problems turning on or off. I would consider buying an add free version if it were available. It sucks having to wait for an add to finish just to pause or mute a show. Another cool feature would be the ability to customize the layout. I'd like to hide buttons I don't use and move the frequently used buttons to the top.

App works great, even if I have to connect to my TV each time. No pin or anything, just have to select the wifi network. Would give 5 stars if there were less ads. Used to be fine, 2-3 ads that I could just click the X and be on my way, but lately I've been forced to watch 5-10 second inskippable ads nearly every time I open the app. Looking for alternatives, will come back if they offer less ads or a Pro version I could pay for to opt out of ads

The app seems to need to be paired to the TV everyday, causing a little pop-up box on the TV asking to allow access, forcing Me to use the physical remote either way. What's the point? I thought once I paired it, it would stay paired but this doesn't seem to be the case. Unless someone knows how to keep it paired, this app is sorta useless. Works as intended once paired though.

Fabulous app for my Samsung TV. It has tons of additional features such as using a keypad to enter words for searches, it opens to give a direct connection to apps such as Netflix. The ads are minimal and not intrusive. Would like an option to purchase an ad free version. If you're using this as a sole remote for the TV, the message that comes up on the TV asking permission will eventually go away, which is nice if you don't have the original remote. Highly recommend.

Amazing! Batteries exploded in my remote rendering it useless. I suffered for a week and then it dawned on me, "there must be an app". This app not only works great but is layed out just like my handheld remote, so nothing new to learn. App Installation was quick and easy. It found my tv right away. Down load to using it took about 30 seconds!!!

Honestly, it does everything I need it to. I only use it to turn off the TV in the kids playroom once they're done out there because we can hear the tv while we're in the family room. As long as my Wi-Fi is good, this app starts right up, asks for a rating, I say later, and I can hit the power button and it works. Just leaving a review because I don't want the review prompt, and it's with the effort of writing this review

Just a couple minutes after install I replaced the remote our dog destroyed. Easy and it works. When you search for a show a text box pops up so I actually like that better than the keyboard on the TV screen. I haven't had to sign in to an app on my TV yet; but I'm thinking it will be a lot easier in a text box on my phone than using the arrows on a remote going back and forth and up and down with a remote to type in a username and password. So far all is well.

This app is a lifesaver! When my son loses the tv remote, I can simply use the app! Then I can watch tv while hunting for the remote! Also, if you break your tv remote or don't have charged replacement batteries handy, you can just use the app! Works perfectly with the tv and other apps like Hulu, Amazon Video, or Netflix! Yes, it has ads but not too many or inappropriate ones. Great app!

Just been a couple hours, but pretty amazing! No ads yet (thanks). This is minor, but the remote is a clone of the physical one. One of my peeves about the plastic one is that the play, etc button are at the bottom. It found my Samsung TV flawlessly and is working smoothly as I move through my house (I have other extenders so it could jump). Thanks app guys 👍. Sorry for the comment about the app with the buttons on the bottom. Thank goodness I don't find the buttons on a black remote.

Best remote control app ever! I tried a bunch and they wanted money or constant ads. This only shows one ad when u open and nothing after that! so grateful since my remote decided to off itself a few months ago. I had to default phone and couldn't remember app and searched through hundreds and finally found it again! Thank God! dont bother searching past any other ones this is legit and free! oh and let me add that I do not have to connect every time I go to use it like I seen other people say.

It was good, until they added ads and now the app doesn't just keep my phone paired. I need to pair it to the TV everytime it's turned off. I used to be able to just turn the TV on and off whenever without needed to pair it everytime. I would appreciate a fix on this. At least it works once it's paired but only if you have another remote to turn the TV on. But at that point why bother?

Super reliable app, even the ads are tolerable. I find that other apps don't really work as well or shove too many ads and ruin the experience. This app does a good job of both working flawlessly each time and having such a respectable amount of ads I have no qualms going through them just to support the app. Always connects super quick too, which is just the cherry on top to the hyper-reliable sundae this app is.

obviously it would also be great if the remote worked after the TV is switched off. however, the WiFi connection is cut while the TV is switched off so it only works to turn off the TV but not to turn it on. my phone doesn't have the IR blaster so it's not that good for me.

once I downloaded and got it approved to use with the TV, it works great. Changing the volume, searching through the different channels, apps, TV guide. make sure you have the original remote handy to approve to use in with the TV otherwise it won't work without it.

After my pup chewed our remote (husband's fault) I downloaded several useless apps. Try this one! If your old remote does not work, and there are no buttons on the tv, plug a keyboard into USB in the back of the tv and hit enter. Voila perfect and NO ADS!!

Ridiculous that you have to toggle between them FORCING you to purchase a subscription JUST TO CONTROL VOLUME. DON'T waste your time to mess with this app. It's a trap that will rope you in for a day or two and then it's no longer usable regardless of apps. This developer has been noted and I will NEVER use the developer ever again through my ENTIRE family and extended family. Get REAL.

keeps disconnecting for no reason. has bugs and issues. works well when it does work though and is the only free phone remote I found for our tv so I guess I'll just have to deal with the problems.

Downloaded this after reading the reviews and everyone was correct. This is such a good universal remote. works perfectly on my kids Samsung T.V. they're always losing the remote so this is perfect. No adds, no trouble pairing, just a good app
