UI is absolutely awful. I've lived with that for a while now but the biggest problem is that the Watch Key Plays feature doesn't work on any of my TV apps. It works on my phone and tablet, but not on FireTV, Shield, or the built-in LG App. In all cases it says "no key plays available" but they clearly are because they work on the tablet and phone. Without key plays there is nothing to set YT TV apart from the competition so perhaps I should give alternatives another look.

the UI is slow and clunky, you can never get to the channel guide without an unlock sequence that Rivals that of a nuclear facility. most of the time you end up not being able to watch what you're trying to watch for the first 3 to 5 minutes while you wait for the UI to load and then eventually you're able to watch your show but you may have to sit through a number of ads that may restart depending on if the app

I've got YouTube TV on a couple of Android devices, an AppleTV and my wife's iPhone. I recently purchased a TCL Android TV and installed this app. It works pretty well for the most part, but it has a major UI flaw. After starting to watch something live, there's no way with the remote to get back to the grid menu. I can get to a smaller "Networks" scroll on the bottom..but where's the traditional grid menu I can get on all of the other devices.
